Amazing location just 4 minutes to Wrightsville Beach without traffic, 6 minutes to UNCW, and 15 minutes to Wilmington's historic downtown riverfront.

Large covered back patio with plenty of space to relax, grill, and eat.

Reliable high speed internet makes this a great place to stay connected with work.

From the moment you step foot inside you will enjoy an open, fully renovated interior with full kitchen (no dishwasher), full bathroom with tub/shower combo, dining table for two, living room with 60" ultra high definition smart television that rotates 180 degrees in the wall so it can be viewed from the bedroom as well. The bedroom has a KING size bed and closet that includes a stacked laundry machine.

Great Stay

My wife and I came over for a couple night quick anniversary trip! The place is great and even better than the pictures! Very close drive to Wrightsville Beach and good local restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!

Backyard beach barn

I stayed at the beach barn for about 2 months and it was fantastic. Super clean and great hosts. Truly a five star property.

Very cute guest house. The inside was clean. Owner should consider purchasing a few new towels and adding an extra set. Used our own chairs for sitting outside. The existing furniture could use some love. Grill was rusted, which was disappointing. However, there were plenty of local restaurants. Plenty to do in the area, beaches are great. Overall, nice place to stay, very close to everything.

Everything you need in Wilmington / Wrightsville Beach

Pleasantly surprised by how spacious and well-stocked this space was! Clean & comfortable, and an easy drive to both downtown and the beach. We loved the outdoor patio & furniture. To note, the house is on a very busy road, so walking / biking from the property was not ideal, so do plan to drive when you need to go somewhere. That said, we would stay again.

Perfect anniversary getaway!

This house was perfect place for my husband and I to spend our first anniversary. We were close in proximity to downtown Wilmington and just a short drive to the beach!! The house had everything we needed and the owners were very helpful when I had a question. Would definitely recommend this place and will re-book if we make it back to the area!

My partner and I turned a business trip into a little vacation staying here for a week. The studio is more spacious than you would think, including the private part of the backyard. This place is great for couples and is conveniently located to many great spots; it is also only about 15 minutes or less to the beach. At one point, we did have a problem with the wifi connectivity, the host replied promptly and the issue was solved in 10 minutes or less. We also ran into him one morning and he seemed pleasant. Overall, we are pretty self sufficient people and didn't need very much past that. Whomever stayed before us did leave us with dirty dishes so we opted to handwash everything before use, and the towels and sheets/comforter provided had an odor to them, even after being rewashed.All in all, I think this is a reasonably priced and cozy vacation spot!

Nice little house

This was all we needed. No busy hotel. Close to the beach and restaurants and shopping. Very modern and a huge TV that swivels. Back porch was nice to sit on and enjoy coffee or a brief rain shower. Had a grill but we did not use it.

Gem of a Place to Stay!

My wife and I stayed at Jonny & Marry’s place while on vacation with the intentions of scoping out the area to see if we wanted to relocate to Wilmington from MA. The place appeared to be small from the outside, however it was surprisingly spacious inside, very clean, comfortable with all the amenities you would need. The hosts were very friendly/helpful, while at the same time gave us all the space we needed. The location was perfect. Both the property and area were amazing and we will be planning to relocate in the next year or two. 5 starts all around!

Fall Break Visiting Granddaughter @UNC-W

The Beach Barn was the perfect stay to visit my granddaughter attending UNC-W. The house was very clean and had so many cute features. It was nice to have all the essentials provided with the property. Which we could just enjoy our stay and not have to run out and pick those things up or travel with them. The host really thought of all the comforts of home combined in this property which made for a pleasurable stay. The granddaughter commented that whenever her mother visits, this is a place she’d like for them to stay as well.

Cute Property, Excellent Host

Johnny is a fantastic host and very attentive when responding to questions. The property is a cute open floor plan with a TV that spins so it can be watched in bed or on the couch. The back patio was nice to enjoy when having coffee. Check-in and check-out was seamless. If you are staying for a longer period of time with more than one person, I would bring an extra set of towels and extra K-cups. The property is located about 5-minutes from Wrightsville beach when driving, however the beach parking is terrible, and you have to pay. Downtown Wilmington is about a 15–20-minute drive. Carolina Beach is about a 35-minute drive away and is easier to park at if you go to SandPiper Lane as there is a bathroom right off the beach; pay to park. Overall, our experience was really good here and Johnny is an excellent host!

Backyard Beach Barn Bliss (BBB B)

Overall our trip was very relaxing and fun. The location of the apartment was close to all things needed (beach, food, fun). Though it is a small space it really lives big and lives up to its promise. We enjoyed the patio area one evening and ate dinner outside. The TV swing feature is very convenient for when it was time for my daughter to sleep and I still stayed up to watch movies. A few suggestions: I would add a vacuum or broom to getup sand from the beach or food crumbs Add a curtain or blinds on the front door window for privacy and maybe some games for family fun. Thanks to the property manager with a quick response with the key, when my daughter locked us out of the laundry room/closet! It was a lovely stay and I would definitely book again and tell others about it!

Cozy Beach House

We had a great time staying at this cute cozy beach house. It was perfect for my husband & I. It was very clean & comfortable, especially the bed which is a plus. We enjoyed the patio & the backyard was very private for relaxing. There is a lot to do in the area which makes it very convenient & not too far to the beach also. If we needed anything, the owners were right next door. We would definitely rent again!
