Appointed in classic Adirondack style this fully winterized cozy waterfront cabin has Air Conditioning, a private dock, fire pit, sandy beach access, a full kitchen, queen sized bedroom, living room and private hot tub. With access to over 50 miles of contiguous waterways and lakes via Oseetah, Kiwassa, Lower and Middle Saranac Lakes. Baker Cabin at Colden Lodge is a very unique waterfront location this certain to impress.

Bobby was in communication with us into the afternoon of arrival day before Walter met us in person when we arrived, showed us around and suggested different local places to eat. He was available all weekend should we needed anything. Everything was in perfect working order and as advertised.

Our stay was wonderful and quiet. We had a deer walk right by the cabin. We were impressed that the hot tub water gets changed prior to the arrival of each guest.

Amazing property

A wonderful stay on the lake. The property is lovely and the host is very friendly and accommodating. We had a great vacation with so much to do nearby while also enjoying lazy mornings and lake days. This is a must stay location!!

Cozy Cabin

Great cozy Cabin right on the water. We came up to fish for a few days and hit a cold snap. The cabin provided a cozy warm place to return to after braving the elements. The host was incredibly helpful with us keeping our boat docked on site. We wouldn't hesitate to come back

Stayed 2 nights never left the property! Everything is there! Great water pressure! Private. Quiet. Beautiful! The dock has a great view! We were guided down to the cabin and left alone for the rest of our stay! We will be returning!!

We enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for a cute cozy cabin to relax in, this is the cabin. Relaxing views from the deck and the dock on the lake. Our host Bobby was great! Will definitely come back again.

Lovely place

Came for a quiet birthday weekend with my boyfriend. Adorable, quiet and private. Nice and close to popular spots. Absolutely loved the hot tub, electric fireplace and spot on the water. Will definitely be visiting again!

Ideal Getaway

For anyone who is looking for some solitude on the ADK, I would highly recommend Baker Cabin. The hosts were extremely pleasant and helped to make sure our stay was everything we wanted. It is in the perfect location; a hop and a skip away from Lake Placid and the mountains. After a long hike, you can unwind and relax in the hot tub and I personally dont think it could get any better.

Cozy cabin with a hot tub

My husband and 8-month-old stayed here for two nights in February and though it was very cold and snowy, we were cozy and warm at this cabin on lake flower. We especially appreciated the use of the hot tub, which was cleaned before our stay. Our host met us when we checked in, even though we arrived late, and made sure that we found everything we needed. Thank you so much for your kind accommodation, Walter!

I've always said I was raised in Ho-Ho-Kus, but I grew up in the Adirondacks and what an absolutely great place to grow up in. The sheer level of exciting and challenging things to do is unparalleled. Diana and I have been coming up to Saranac Lake and the Adirondacks every summer since I left in '84, and she always knew we would return and buy a house. Maybe not quite the monster that Colden Lodge is but it was just too much of a classic to pass up. Plus, we needed something to do when we retire. So, relax and enjoy it as much as we do.

The one thing to me that makes Colden Lodge exceptional is its location. Combined with its relatively secluded lakeside location and its proximity to the village of Saranac Lake at just 1 mile, Colden Lodge is just perfectly located. With the town located just 1 mile, Lake Placid at 9 miles, Whiteface at 19 miles and The Wild Center in Tupper Lake at 20 miles Colden Lodge is the perfect place to launch your adventures from in the Adirondacks. There are also countless trailheads, lakes, rivers and streams all in between. I guess that’s more than one thing, but you get the gist of it.
