Long Weekend

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend! The house was perfect for us! We were minutes away from base and a short drive away from Little Rock. The house was clean! It was nice having dish soap and other household products available as well! I highly recommend staying here!

Very Nice Place

We were in town visiting friends and it was the perfect place for us. Spacious and clean, close to plenty of dining and close to our friends. Highly recommended.

Great Location

This property is in a mature neighborhood and well decorated. It is close distance to restaurants and shopping areas. The host is a great communicator. However, I had to call to get the check in instructions. The carport area could use some TLC, and the beds are extremely firm. It only has one bathroom in which the sink has an extremely slow drain leaving particles behind.

A great option close to Little Rock

We had to make a very last-minute reservation due to a death in the family. Rolando made everything easy for us and was ver accommodating. The house had everything we needed and was the perfect option for our family!

Property

Was a good stay. Exactly what I expected. Was just there for work, beats staying in a hotel. The only thing I was not expecting what that the property doesn’t have a driveway. Like a gravel driveway or concrete. So if you don’t have a 4 wheel drive truck don’t stay there but nevertheless still a great stay.

Wonderful! 10/10!

Highly reccomend this property if you are looking for a comfy place in Jacksonville and it sure beats staying in a hotel!! Rolando and his wife offer you up a very welcoming home - it looks exactly like the photos! It’s in a very convenient location to travel to the Air Force base as well as accessing 67/167 to Little Rock or Cabot. We were extremely pleased with the property and would definitely use it again! Check in and check out was extremely easy, there is a book in the kitchen with information you may need in the home such as WiFi, instructions for checking out etc … If you are in town visiting and looking for a place to relax while you’re in town, this is a great pick!

Great Host, Bad Roaches

Host was very friendly and helpful. The place is as it looks in the pictures, and is a pretty quiet neighborhood. Bring/buy your own food because it isn’t provided. The only negative thing is the roaches are terrible. Over the course of 3 nights, I killed two roaches, one in the room I stayed in and the other in the kitchen. I also saw one in the laundry room. If not needing the accommodations, I would’ve gone somewhere else, simply just because of the roaches.

Sorry for the inconvenience with the roaches. We had no complaints about it. We recently remodeled the entire house. We keep it nice and clean at all times. We have never found cockroaches in any area.

Cute, Quaint, & Clean!

Well done! This is one of the cleanest VBRO homes that I have been to. Chef's kiss for upkeep! The yard is absolutely amazing & little side patio is cute, although I wish there was something comfy to sit on out there so I could read in the mornings. The home itself was very modest & cute & definitely worth the price. Two things I wish were different: #1 is we didn't find the beds comfortable. #2 is we felt that there were rooms where the furniture could have been more practical for the space. The home is very spacious and could fit more people, but the furniture isn't conducive to that. Overall, we had a great night. Definitely would come back if the beds were more comfortable on our bad backs.

disappointed

there were issues with the lights in the house and the tv. there were no clear instructions for either. the backyard was fenced . but it was all dirt. i’m just glad it didn’t rain. and i found broken glass in the dirt. the coffeemaker had moldy grounds left in it and the microwave was not clean. overall the property did not feel well cared for. also, the bathroom( towels, etc) and kitchen were not equipped for the 5 that could stay here. in all fairness, the owner did come to the house to address the lights and tv issue and i told him about the other issues. he is new at this so maybe he’ll do better.

Thanks for your comment. I need to verify a few things about your stay. The cleaning details were not finished because you arrived at our property 1 hour earlier without prior notice, which did not allow the cleaning person to complete the house. You looked out the windows, making the person in charge very uncomfortable. The other details were due to a lack of instructions, I personally returned several times to tell you how to turn on the television and the lights. Everything in the house is in working condition. During your stay, we attended to all your needs and several calls and messages, and I listened to all your suggestions. And yes, we are new to this, and we are learning. Please, I suggest you be a little more flexible in any of your stays, even more so when you try to get this out ahead and attend to the needs. Thank you.
