I had a group of 12 girls. We had a great stay. Location was perfect. The pictures don’t do it justice, the upstairs is very open & great for a big group. The outside & dock area are the best. Don’t forget to bring your own pillows, blankets & towels!

This property was a great location. The lot is level and the water close. Stairs for young and old to access the lake. Lots of room in the cottage and quiet street. Boat dock so handy for water skiers.

Perfect for Kids!

We had a wonderful time at this cottage. It's really well set up for small kids, they were never bored and the swimming area was great! Baby gate, booster seat and pack and play were super useful for our smallest guest too. The cottage itself was clean and more spacious than we anticipated. We would love to book again next year.

Waterfront Family Fun

Our family enjoyed our stay at this Sturgeon Lake retreat. The cottage was clean, comfortable, spacious & well equipped. The outdoor waterfront property offers so much fun for all ages. The property also felt very private, even with neighbours on both sides. The dock is large & very well built allowing easy entry into the water and use of provided items. Our favourite was the floating mat, both adults & kids had a blast! The water was clean & comfortable for swimming, a nice temperature with minimal weeds. For those that enjoy fishing you can catch perch right off the dock & just offshore on the peddle-boat or canoe. Location is between Fenelon Falls & Bobcaygeon for easy access to stores, shopping, restaurants etc. We felt the beds could have been more comfortable, but it's always a personal preference. More bedroom storage or hooks would be helpful as well. Overall a great time & recommend!

Great cottage for family get-together

Plenty of beds for sleeping, lots of seating for meals and nice warm water to swim off the dock. And very close to Bobcaygeon if you need to run out for a few groceries. Overall a perfect place for a family reunion.

Lovely weekend at the cottage

My family and I had a lovely time at the cottage: beautiful view of the lake, wonderful backyard - large dock, water slide, canoe, paddle boat, outdoor games for all ages, kids outdoor playset, plenty of seating around the campfire, outdoor dining table, great BBQ, etc. Indoors is a great large dining table, spacious kitchen, board games for the kids, living room with large windows and great view of the lake, bunk beds in the basement (not shown in pictures), plenty of beds throughout, etc. Couple things to not we weren’t aware of - bunk beds in the basement, and basement is quite chilly - pack warm blankets. Loved the experience, will love to come back again. Recommended.

Exceptions from start to finish

Everything was great and the only surprises were pleasant ones! The swimming was even better than we expected, the cottage is much larger than the photos indicated, and the beds were more comfortable than we dared hope. This is an amazing choice for families with young kids, and we're already looking forward to staying with Anna next summer.

Our Taste of Heaven

The amount of anticipation that builds in the week before arriving here is unbelievable. This being our second year at this destination, the excitement was more intense than the first time. The property is gorgeous, serene, quiet and even the neighbours were fantastic (a great family). great location and easy to find, could not ask for a more satisfying stay. Great girls getaway

Friends and I stayed at the property and it was great and had almost everything we needed. There is no on sight laundry so everything needed to be brought in (bedding, towels, hand towels etc) but otherwise there was lots for our group to do like swim or play on the lily pad. We would book again!

Anna’s property was exactly what we wanted. Beautiful waterfront with all amenities needed. Communication with Anna was easy and she responded promptly. My group commented all weekend on how great everything was. Would definitely recommend

Great for Young Families Looking for a Cottage Getaway

We rented the cottage on a long weekend for 8 adults and 4 kids under 2. We really valued the amount of space the cottage offered. We also loved the layout of the cottage for young families and the amenities were so child friendly! There were lots of outdoor toys to keep the kids busy and a big foam lily pad you could put in the water which was a big hit! They also had a small hand held vacuum that came in extra handy for cleaning up the inevitable snack crumbs from toddlers. Check in and check out was a breeze and communications with Anna were clear, prompt and just overall lovely. Would definitely rent again!

Home away from Home.

Great vacation retreat. Great gathering area, kitchen and front room. We had 9 individuals and no crowding. Excellent view of lake. We had some spiders and ants but adjusted. Noticed all work in progress, excellent work being done. Should look gorgeous when completed. Would not hesitate to rent every year. From my family to yours thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful stay right on the lake with lots of space

The minute we walked in we noticed how clean the property was. Communication with Anna was very easy and she was always responsive. The view from the lake in the bedroom was amazing to wake up to and we had a great time spending time in the very clean lake. Other highlights were the short drive to Bobcageon and Fenelon Falls and easy access to any necessary groceries. We love this place and will certainly book again.
