The cottage was clean and matched the photos. Yard was tidy and great for kids. Water access was nice and shallow water was good for the kids.

This card was just as listed on VRBO. The location was beautiful, and the cottage was very large and modern with a huge kitchen well supplied with everything. The bedding is supplied and the beds were comfortable. The bedrooms could do with a little upgrade as far as cupboards, andplaces to put things the washer and dryer were certainly an added bonus for our towels, etc. We would highly recommend this cottage as it is beautiful inside and out.

a nice spot for a quiet getaway

My friends and I were happy to see that the cottage was as advertised - had plenty of space with four clean bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, functional a/c, etc. We were also pleasantly surprised at the extra items we could use, such as extra cooking oil, board games, and large floaties! However, we wished there had been some mention of how pervasive the seaweed is throughout the water for swimming, and that there had been a bit more communication answering our questions about check-in. Overall, though, we had an enjoyable stay in this quiet spot near Bobcaygeon!

Nightmare from start to finish

This host was playing games from the start; would not respond to any of our questions prior to check-in. Told me us a few days prior that the septic wasn't working and we couldn't stay. However he also wouldn't cancel the booking or refund us. This property should not be allowed to post on VRBO or any site...BEWARE he is a scammer!!!

Lovely Cottage

It was the perfect size for our family. It is a nice open space and we enjoyed the yard, and the dock on the water. Our granddaughter enjoyed swimming but there were a lot of reeds in the water and the bottom is mushy so the adults didn’t swim as much. The cottage is getting tired and needs some updates and repairs but we enjoyed our visit. The area is beautiful!

Great place. Spacious

The property was updated and clean. This is a great place for a group get together. There is lots of space to gather in the cottage. A small concern is there is not much BBQ utensils available.

3 nights without hot water!

We loved the house and property. It was very private, clean and comfortable. However, we didn't have any hot water the whole time we were there. We emailed the host, but got no response. So, we phoned the number provided for assistance (1-705-304-0170) at least 3 times. The person I spoke to said he would send a technician to take care of it. No one called or came. No showers for us! Very inconsiderate. I feel we should be compensated for the inconvenience. Please advise.

Stayed there for a friends weekend. It’s spacious, great view of the lake, close to Bobcaygeon. We would stay there again.

Magical☆

What a beautiful location. Sunrise and sunsets on the dock, a generous sized cottage with modern air conditioning, kitchen appliances and wifi (fast and even goes up to the docks!), sitting area for marshmellow bonfires, huge BBQ, and a large garage full of fun things to use. It was just so charming. We had an unforgettable Thanksgiving thanks to this place and we cried when we left it. Coming back to Bobcaygeon! Thank you to the owners.

Warm Cottage

This was a surprisingly good stay at this cottage. 1. Cottage is recently renovated, thus have fresh interior. 2. Kitchen is well equipped with most pf the utensils one may need for cooking. 3. Dishwasher and laundry is added benefit. 4. Location is well connected with nearby town of Bobcaygeon. The town has most of the shops you would for your stay. 5. Kawartha dairy is few minutes drive from the cottage. You can literally go after every meal as the dairy is open till 9 pm on most days. 6. Host has also well equipped the house with cleaning supplies and board games. 7. A paddle boat if available will add lot of charm to the cottage.

Cozy winter cottage

Very cozy winter cottage stay. Went with my partner and another couple. Was a great size for the four of us. In winter, the living space would probably feel a bit crowded if we had a full 8 adults there, but in summer would probably be great as you’d be outside most of the time and the outdoor space looked like it’d be lovely in summer. Master ensuite toilet didn’t always work great, but other than that everything was lovely.
