Comfy Condo with Remote Office / Workspace - Closest Condo to Walden Golf Club!

Just back on VRBO (Oct 1st) after a remodel with new furniture! Relax in this 2 bed and 2 bathroom condo on the ground floor overlooks the Clubhouse with partial views of the 1st hole at Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Club.

The living room comes with a brand new large sectional sofa as well as a large 58" smart TV and a 6 person dinner table.

The primary bedroom has a large king bed, private full bathroom and blackout shades to help make for a restful night of sleep.

The second bedroom has two twin beds and an workspace in-between that allows for remote work. The desk is appointed with a large HD monitor, mouse and mousepad, and a powerstrip. The background is clean and simple, which should work for any remote job. Just bring your laptop and you'll have an instant remote workspace!

The kitchen comes stocked with dinnerware, cookware, kitchen utensils and also includes a Keurig machine with a couple coffee and tea pods with cream and sugar packets to make sure your first morning at the condo feels just like home even if you don't have time to stock up for the trip.

Michael was a very welcoming host. We enjoyed our stay. Clean space, ample provisions, location is great and we will return if we are ever in need! We would absokutely recommend this spot!

Property was as advertised. Convenient and comfortable. Enjoyed being able to go swim after a hot day. Host was responsive and helpful.

Place was too small and our expectations were to have decent beds and furniture. Patio door had alternate setup as main door lock doesn't work. Due to resurfacing on the front door site, we used patio door only during our stay. I wish additional towels and coffee Keurig pods are supplied . Overall we had good stay but host could have made our stay more comfortable with minor enhancement to the property and offering few basic amenities. I stayed at many independently managed properties but didn't had experience like this weekend anytime. Property need good maintenance.

Very clean condo, great host and easy check in/out. Instructions for check out were nice and light, which I greatly appreciate. Kitchen, living room area are updated and sofa is nice and comfy. Bathrooms were a little outdated but very clean. The only thing I would add is extra towels. Neighbors are quiet and parking/location is easy. We rented a boat just a few miles away for 1/2 day and really enjoyed our stay!

We come to Walden for a golf tourney every year. This is the most convenient property to the club. Host was super accommodating. PS the knives need sharpening….

Good place in a good location. However, I would suggest the host offer a way for the neighbors and staff to know guest are authorized to use the pool area. We were approached by a person that didn’t identify himself as an employee of the townhouse community. He rather rudely…requested we tell him what our address was. Stating that the community often had people use the pool uninvitedly. Well, it felt a bit discriminatory.

We were in town for a family wedding and were delighted to find such a nice condo so conveniently located to the hotel most of our family was staying in. Everything we needed was nearby, and we really enjoyed the property. Comfy beds and couch, games to play, nice dining area. Highly recommend. Mike was a great host and anticipated anything we could’ve wanted. Checking in before 3:00 or 4:00 was also a huge plus!

Nice stay in the condo

This is an easy place to stay if you have an event nearby. Convenient and easy. The upstairs neighbor liked to walk around in the middle of the night creating noise. This is the second time we have stayed in this same complex. We will return next year.

Family Visit

We were visiting family in the Houston area. The unit was clean and accessible. We did have to go out and purchase a basic spatula as there was not one at the unit. Overall we were satisfied with the accommodations and enjoyed our stay.

Good If

If you are just looking for a place to sleep with no fancy or modern touches this is perfect. It says newly remodeled but I think that is just in regards to the flooring. There is signs of aged appliances and decour. The host was excellent check in and check out a breeze. I like modern and updated living, so it was a little dated for me but again if you don't mind and just need a safe place to sleep this will work.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I fell in love in this area the moment I first visited and knew I had to live there. It's got top class golf right at it's doorstep and situated at the beginning of the Walden community so trips into town (Conroe or Montgomery) are quick and easy. There's plenty of nightlife within 20 mins but still feels so calm and serene when at the condo. Really couldn't have picked a better place, feels like a relaxing vacation every time I stay there!
