Charming Lake Getaway

Enjoy your stay at our cozy lake home in a waterfront community just minutes from the water & golf cart to cruise down to private dock to swim, fish,relax in the sun or tie your boat up. Access to over 800 miles of shoreline on Kerr Lake for fishing or water sports. Several marinas nearby for any boating needs while on water. Also several nearby boat ramps to launch your boat. The private boat dock will allow 2 boats to be tied off.
Come back to grill out on the private back deck with string lights to brighten the night, enjoy the fire pit and large outdoor table to have dinner or card games with friends and family.
Located just 3 miles from Carolina Bait & Tackle with grill inside as well as Dollar General for any last minute needs. Only 10 miles or so from town for fast food, grocery stores and a Walmart. We are only 20 minutes from Mariah Parham Hospital and under an hour to Raleigh, Durham and Wake Forest. Also check out Middleburg Steakhouse it’s a lake life tradition located in Middleburg .
A golf cart is provided for guests. You
must be 18 yrs of age and have a valid drivers license to operate golf cart.
Absolutely no children can operate golf cart. Not responsible for any personal injury or damages to boat.

We love this place! This is our second time staying here and we will be back again! The house is clean and well maintained. The dock is perfect for dock fishing and tying up the boat at the end of a day on the water. The owners are really friendly and responsive. The back deck with grill, table and fire pit are well maintained and everything is in working order. We’ve stayed at houses before that the grill should have been thrown away years ago, but that is definitely not the case with anything at this house.

Outdoor weekend getaway

Our group of guys enjoyed a few days together getting outdoors, and we were happy to have a place to crash. Nice sized common area. 3 bed and 2 bath. One is like a master suite with its own bathroom. Plenty of porch space out back and carport. Definitely a good place when getting out on a boat.

It was good but could use a little maintenance, bedroom doors didn't close, had a water leak and hotwater heater is not made for a family of 5 to be there. We kept running out of hot water. Need to high dust and clean the oven.

Charming!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Property managers were friendly and helpful. The property was nice and clean - no complaints. It was great being able to use the golf cart to get down to the dock. The condition of the dock was great too. We loved the location. Overall great experience and we’ll definitely recommend this location and be back here ourselves!

Great stay, nice house, friendly host

Had a great stay here, the host was super friendly and communication was excellent. House was very clean and comfortable. Use of the golf cart to get down to the dock was a big help. Would definitely stay again.

Nice and quiet place!

Nice place to stay and the golf cart was a bonus to get you down to the owner's dock where we fished from. The property is very nice and private. The inside is spacious and clean. We even saw a doe and two fawn one morning eating across the street.

Fishing trip

Great place to stay for fishermen. Very nice place that is clean. Large parking area and carport if you have a boat. Definitely hope to return next time we have a tournament at Buggs island!

Couldn’t ask for better!

Pristine clean. Most comfortable beds. All the needed amenities. Awesome indoor and outdoor space. Such a fun location! Absolutely staying again!

Boat trip

Very nice stay, Denise and her Husband were very nice and helpful... house comfortable, clean & well stocked. A/C was amazingly cold! Private dock for our boat was perfect. Use of their golf cart to get to the lake was really helpful.
