Great home, great neighborhood.

Wonderful place to stay. The home is beautiful, on a quiet street within a 5 minute walk to the subway, and a 15 minute walk to many of the main attractions in Amsterdam.

Amsterdam grand tour

I met my 31 year old here while they were on a grand tour of Europe after having finished a PhD. The location was great we could walk everywhere and there was plenty of room for both of us. We especially enjoyed being close to the museums property was as listed, and the host was excellent to work with.

Great apartment and location

We had an amazing stay. The apartment was spacious (for Amsterdam 😂) and the location was fantastic. Close to the museums, rembrandtplein, leidseplein, amazing restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood just to the south called de pijp is a must visit area including the albert cuypmarkt open air market. Highly recommend this vrbo. Note - one of the beds is a bunk bed that requires going up and down a ladder. Just something to consider, especially for adults.

Celebrating 60 Years on Earth!

Quiet Garden Home in southern Amsterdam neighborhood was a dream for 3 long-time friends celebrating many years of friendship! Location was close to easy public transit, super fun carousel diner-type neighborhood spot and many many shops and eateries, fancy and casual, museums and everything you could ask for. Home was beautiful and as described. Host was the most accommodating and communicative I have ever experienced and incredibly helpful and generous in spirit. You will love your stay here!

Amsterdam

The only thing i think you need to know before booking this house is that you are booking someone else’s home. Not vacation home - but home. Nothing felt clean and to say this apartment is central to all sites is crazy. It is walking distance to the museums, a park and the grocery store. When we entered the house was not cleaned. Garbage was left there- and the smell lasted the entire week. The owner and his assistant are lovely. This just wasn’t at all what i expected.

Dear Linda, I am amazed that you give us a poor rating: On VRBO it clearly states that this is our primary residence. Our house was cleaned by a cleaning service, but they did leave the garbage for which I apologized. I think that this first impression made you see the house through different glasses. My assistant said the house was clean, but to appease you, we arranged for another cleaning to be done within a few hours of your arrival. But you continued to smell the garbage for a week..My assistant brought you another coffee machine since you did not now how to work the one listed on the VRBO and coffee milk etc. The house is in the centre of Amsterdam and it shows on the VRBO map clearly the location prior to booking. I do not know how more central one can get, or how else to let you know the location prior to your booking. I feel you rate us unfairly, which will have an impact on our overall rating.
