We had such a wonderful stay! The house and location were absolutely beautiful, and it was the perfect place for our family to spend the week. We loved being right on the water, fishing and crabbing from the pier, relaxing in the hot tub, and simply enjoying the property. The home had everything we needed, and we would absolutely stay here again. The only minor area for improvement was the cleanliness, as a few things could have used a little more attention from the cleaning crew.Overall, this was a fantastic experience! We made some wonderful family memories and would happily recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We hope to return someday!

Beautiful house in a beautiful beach location. The house has a private beach and dock on the Potomac. The views are incredible. There is plenty of space inside the house for family activities, as well as an open-air deck and a screened-in outdoor dining area — which is where we had a family dinner each evening. Communication with the host was quick, easy and responsive.

The house and property was just right for our family’s needs. We loved being right on the river and we enjoyed kayaking and paddling around in the river. The kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything we needed for cooking, eating and drinking. Some of the pots could use updating. Same with the scatter rugs around the house need to be thrown out. Overall, though, it was an enjoyable place to be with our kids for a few days.

My wife and family had an absolutely amazing time at this location. It is a perfect place to completely unwind and just enjoy yourself. Literally just a few steps from the water, tons of wildlife (including seeing a bald eagle), and so peaceful you can't help but relax. Plenty of sleeping room for a large family, a large living room, and a sun room offering the best sunrise views I have ever seen. The hot tub was very spacious, clean, and most enjoyable. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation away from the masses.

The cabin was very well appointed with plenty of detail paid to the variety of activities guests may undertake while at Sea Glass. It is clear that this host is accustomed to entertaining and he extends that level of thoughtfulness to his guests. The only recommendations I have would be to inform guests that the nearest grocery store is 20-25 minutes away, so be sure to stop on the way in.

Will Definitely Book Again!

I was in charge of booking my very first family vacation and I really wanted to be near water and trees. This location was perfect as the kids loved being on the beach (and utilizing the Kayaks, Life Jackets, and Floaties provided by the host) and the adults loved the serenity of the area. The host was very quick to respond to any questions I had which definitely set the tone for me before even arriving!
