Treetop Getaway with AMAZING lake views!

"Nestled Away" is a serene and tranquil getaway, located in the upper Treetop section of the gated community of Big Canoe. We boast fantastic lake and mountain views! Recently purchased and renovated for ultimate comfort, our home is perfect for a couple's getaway or family vacation.

"Nestled Away" is a 2 bedroom/2 bath with fully equipped kitchen and deck overlooking Lake Petit. Deck furnished with eating area and 4 comfortable Adirondack chairs and propane fire table. The home is light and bright with circular, floor to ceiling windows allowing an abundance of natural light. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen beds, with streaming TV's. Main area also has a TV with comfortable sleeper sofa and counter height dining table. We also include two kayaks to use on Lake Petit, and hiking accessories.

Our home is located a short distance from the abundant amenities Big Canoe has to offer. These include marina with boat and kayak rentals, golf, fitness center, pool, tennis courts, miles of hiking trails, Jeep trail and clubhouse restaurant. Big Canoe is also a wildlife sanctuary nestled in an 8000 acre property. Please note that additional fees apply for amenities and can be paid onsite.

This was a beautiful trip to northern Georgia! The weather was perfect, and we enjoyed so many outdoor activities like hiking the trails (we saw bears, deer and turkeys!), visiting the Fainting Goats Winery, and touring townships like Jasper and Ellijay for dinner.This unit was a perfect location in Big Canoe, as it was easy to get to all these activities! The view of Lake Petite was lovely, so we sat on the deck often! And the firepit was perfect for a quiet evening at the end of the day.It could not have gone better; so glad we rented this cute Treetopper with my family

The water heater and the heat in the house are not working very well they keep going on and off. We also asked for more paper towels and coffee but never received any response. Overall, everything else was okay.

Perfect weekend getaway

My wife and I had a great weekend here. It was very comfortable and we enjoy all of the extra amenities, including the blankets, the coffee and hot chocolate, and the outside fire table. We'd definitely like to come back again.

Beautiful getaway

We came in for a wedding and needed a natural environment to help us reset and connect with nature. This was the perfect space to do this. We enjoyed the space outside and would swing and reconnect. This was such a peaceful experience

What a lovely place to stay! Such a gorgeous community and the treehouse was very nice. Good amenities, great hosts, and wonderful, comfy beds!!! If I’m ever in the area again, I am definitely going to book this place again. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place!

Beautifully decorated and maintained place with a stunning view of the lake. Easy communication with the owner and we had everything we needed. The outside fireplace and swings were a nice touch. Highly recommend and lots of fun activities in Big Canoe to do.

Rustic retreat

Relaxing stay in the woods. Quiet and peaceful. Able to relax with dog in tow. Enjoyed the views, dog parks and pool. People could not have been nicer.

Peaceful and Quiet

Great property up in the trees with an amazing view of Lake Petet, as well as wildlife wandering by. The trees kept the deck shaded from the hot GA sun. The interior had everything that you needed for meals and relaxing.

Weekend getaway

This is a cozy cottage among the trees, nicely updated for a 45+ year old home. The owners have everything well stocked and the details to make you feel like you are at a friend's home. We loved the porch & the owners were available if you needed anything.

Great weekend away

The property is clean, nicely furnished and has wonderful views! The owners were very responsive when we decided to bring along a new pet and needed to add the pet fee. They also provided lots of great info on getting there and things to do/places to eat in the area. Lots to do, but we really enjoyed sitting on the porch with a fire and a cocktail!

Relaxing

This property was so charming ! The view was amazing and we had the most relaxing stay. Perfect to just relax and drink coffee. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed from the Kuerig with lots of yummy coffee choices to the fully stocked kitchen The host was so easy to communicate with and gave us great directions .. If you just need to get away - don’t hesitate to book this spot !

Wow! We loved this condo

From the professional-level designer touches to the snack basket loaded with goodies, this condo was perfect. All the furniture looked like they were new and the entire unit was perfectly clean. We will definately come back.

Perfect Getaway

Nestled Away is a beautiful, cozy, well-equipped home away from home. We went for a long weekend to celebrate a weekend and have some relaxing quality time together. Could not have asked for anything more. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We took the kayaks out to Lake Petit to explore and that was such a bonus! Brian was available any time we needed anything and was the perfect host! We will absolutely be back and have already told multiple friends to book this wonderful home for a mountain getaway.

Relaxing

The property was unique and very nice. We had a good view of the lake and it was tranquil. We enjoyed looking out our main window and seeing 5 deer within a few hundred feet of us and watching them graze. The owners thought of everything to make it a very comfortable stay from the really nice decor, a welcome basket with snacks, a Keurig with coffee k cups provided that was plentiful and really comfortable beds. We explored the area and everything was within a 20- 30 minute drive. If you ever want to try a great burger, you got.to check out the Burger Bus in Ball Ground. A unique dining experience with yummy burgers. They have other things too.
