Enjoy your stay in beautiful Carlsbad Village, only steps away from the sand! Just a short walk with easy access to the relaxing beach, amazing food and great shopping. This modern and stylish 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom property is the perfect quiet location which includes the fastest internet 1 GIG WIFI and smart tv in the bedroom and living room. Free designated parking for 1 car in the driveway. Tesla charger available during non peak hours (11pm-5am)

The space
This upstairs loft unit has a great space to relax inside or on the deck which opens up with french doors to enjoy the amazing ocean breeze and a peek-a-boo ocean view! This unit has a AC/Heater and a fully-stocked full-size kitchen with coffee maker, toaster and microwave. The living room has a beautiful leather couch that opens to a queen size bed. Beach chairs, umbrella and towels are available for use.

*BOOKING REQUIREMENTS: Guests must have an established profile with previous reviews and booking history. Minimum age to book is 25 years. Please no parties or large gatherings. Maximum occupancy is 4 adults.

Clean and efficient

The property is very clean, modern and contains all essentials. As indicated in the listing, the area is quite small, but adequate for 2 people. The property manager/ owner was responsive and helpful. Location is excellent, near beach entrance and walking areas.

North Carlsbad Loft

The loft was a bit smaller than we expected. It was adequate for a couple but might be cramped for more than two. Appliances and fixtures were all new and of good quality. Great shower. Small bathroom sink with limited counter space. No dishwasher for those who may want to cook and don't like to wash dishes by hand. Climate control is via a mini split in the living room. There was a noticeable temperature difference between the living room and the bedroom since the air doesn't circulate well in the bedroom. I suspect this would only be an issue on the colder days (we stayed in January). The loft obviously requires stairs to access so those who have difficulty climbing stairs should probably avoid this place. The street in front of the loft is very narrow. More like an alley. Only wide enough for one vehicle. For this reason, parking a larger vehicle could be somewhat difficult so beware if backing in tight places isn't your thing. The location is north of Carlsbad Village just behind the Army and Navy Academy. It seems to be a very quiet part of town. We heard the occasional Amtrak Coaster train, but other than that, there was no noise.

Very modern beautiful place

A minute walk from the beach. Very clean and well equipped apartment, peak a boo view of the ocean. Nice patio. Would make it a routine go to getaway.

Pied-a-terre by the Sea

Lovely! Clean, well appointed, quiet, conveniently located. Need I say more? Yes! Tara is wonderful - responsive, respectful and proactive. When the power went out briefly she texted me telling me where a candle was located and that she was jumping in the car to buy more. We had been in town at dinner and by the time we returned to the lofts, the power was back on. We'll definitely return for our next visit to Carlsbad.

Cozy and convenient

This unit was perfect for our family of three to stay for a couple of nights. It’s a quick walk to the beach or Carlsbad village and has all the amenities you would expect and then some, including beach gear, toiletries, and kitchen supplies. It was smaller than the places we typically stay, but was well laid out and had plenty of clever storage so that we still had plenty of space. It was also very clean, beautifully decorated, and Tara was very easy to communicate with.

Amazing property

This is a hidden gem in Carlsbad. It is decorated with modern seaside touches and is so tastefully done. It has to be one of my favorite properties and we enjoyed ourselves so much. Tara was accommodating and really good to work with. This has to be one of my favorite VRBO properties and we will for sure go back. It’s close to the beach and Carlsbad Village. I can’t say enough about this property we truly had a great vacation !

Amazing Beach House!

This property is a great, cozy little house! My family and I loved the location, especially being a 5 minute walk to the beach! Walking to downtown Carlsbad was very convenient as well. We really enjoyed being able to sit outside and listen to the ocean and enjoy the sunset. The house had all the amenities we needed, and Tara was very prompt in responding to questions and helping out with anything we needed. We were sad to leave, but cant wait to come back to stay again!

Near beach getaway

Tastefully decorated, with all the beach, kitchen and comfort necessities. Tara’s place was a real treat for us in a safe neighborhood. I didn’t need to drive anywhere and walked instead. Would love to come back. Nice to hear the ocean from the deck too 😍

Amazing location and comfortable stay!

This was everything we had hoped for when we booked it! Steps from the beach, lots of restaurants in walking distance, clean and comfortable living arrangements. Loft had everything we needed from kitchen, bath and beach needs. Ommunication from Tara was very responsive and helpful as well, and she checked in on us to make sure all was good. Only thing to note is that the bed in the bedroom is a double bed—which worked fine for us, but others may want or require more room. Sofa couch was comfortable. We would return in a heartbeat!
