Scallops 2025

Have to be honest here. Fishy smell overwhelmed us when we walked in and it never went away no matter what we did. Not bad after you left the front of the house. When the description read small kitchen it really means SMALL kitchen but had the necessities.

We had a very enjoyable stay July 6-9. House was clean and comfortable. Much less expensive than the local hotel.

Cute little house

The house was perfect for our size group. Kitchen was small but had everything we needed. Very convenient to town and other family. Would stay here again.

A great mini vacation

We recently stayed in this home for a long weekend. The home was clean, comfortable and very charming. The owners were very easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for our stay. Great space for two couples or a family.

Cant wait to come back and stay again

Enjoyed everything about the house. Small kitchen ,but screen porch with dining table is plenty of room to sit down and enjoy a meal with the family

Awesome Vacation Home

We loved staying in this house, it was welcoming, quiet, extremely clean and pet friendly. There was an outside screened area to sit and relax. The property owner was always quick to communicate. 👍

The cutest place! I’ve stayed in places that didn’t supply napkins, trash bags etc.. this place did I was very thankful!

The perfect little house for a family of four in the ole Hatch! + Pet Friendly!

Our family of four, which includes two adults, our 5yo son and 3-month old daughter (+ our two dogs) found this little home away from home. It’s quite spacious and having two bathrooms was a huge plus! It offers both a bath/shower combo and an a standup shower. Surprising this house offered a lot of space! The check in process was extremely easy and the owner is very detailed and highly responsive to messages within a timely manner. The front porch is large with a huge table. Both finding the location and entering the house was a breeze. You enter through the front, which is the living space. The kitchen is quite small, but had the essentials…soap, sponge, paper towels, coffee. The first bedroom is off to the left of the living space with the back bedroom past the laundry. The washer and dryer sets are very nice - actually exactly what my family has at home. Absolutely love being able to wash up after a weekend away without feeling as though we’re going into the week unprepared. The location is within proximity to all the major stores and riverside area. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we will be returning in the future! Thank you!

Great vacation

We loved the vacation home! It was perfect for my husband, his mom, our dog, and myself! We came to scallop and had our boat. The property was perfect and had plenty of room for us and the boat. We love the screened in porch and spent most night out there eating dinner and playing cards. The weather was surprisingly not too hot! There are a lot of trees around the property to help to keep it cooler. The interior was clean, updated and very cozy. If we come to Steinhatchee in the future, we will definitely try to stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is very cute and I especially love the front porch! The front porch is huge and a great spot for entertaining. There was just a couple little nitpicky things. We wish that the sofa in the living room was more comfortable. We couldn't all sit and watch a movie at night so we brought in a couple folding chairs. The kitchen has all of the basics, but if you are planning to cook for a large group of people make sure you bring a big pot:)

Cute little cottage

The property has a nice long driveway where we parked our boat trailer and truck for the week. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a couple of pull out couches perfect for kids. Kitchen is very basic but everything works and the fridge and stove are full sized. Grill out back works well. Quiet location and really cute decor. Good communication with host and easy check-in/out process. Would stay again!

Wonderful weekend

We came for a larger family gathering in Steinhatchee. Not having to worry about anything while we were there made the stay incredible. We will definitely be staying here again!
