Scallop and Fishing Paradise

The Shells N Tails Rental home is perfect for fishermen or families looking for a relaxing vacation. Located on 1st Street W, this quiet and peaceful home is within walking distance of the boat ramp. The boat ramp is fully restored and operational. Be on the water in minutes after leaving the home.

Steinhatchee offers some great fishing opportunities. Steinhatchee Marina and Sea Hag Marina are near to the home with boat rentals and fishing guides available. Boat slips are also available for renting at these locations.

There is plenty of parking for your boat or golf cart, both under this stilted home and in front of the home. (Please note the home has a 10ft clearance underneath.) Security cameras are located on premises for your protection and your boats security.

The Shells N Tails Rental is located in a quiet 4 unit complex. There are 2 homes in each unit similar to a duplex. The 1200 sq. ft. townhome is located on the left side of the green home in 205A.

The Master bedroom contains a king size bed with an on-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen size bed. A second bathroom is located across from the front bedroom. In the living room, a full pull-out sofa bed is also available. Comfortable sheets are supplied for all beds. Fresh towels and wash clothes are supplied in both bathrooms. Hotel toiletries are offered for those forgotten items.

We are happy to say we now have fiber optic high-speed internet, which is great for watching the sports games we just can't miss. The satellite TV in the living room is on Dish Network and has streaming capabilities. Another TV is located in the Master Bedroom and works with several apps.

After spending a long day on the Gulf, cook or grill your fresh catch. Basic amenities are stocked in the kitchen. A propane grill is located on the back porch. Table and chairs are also located on the back porch in case you would like to dine outside.

If you are ready to get on the water, this fishing paradise is for you.

The kitchen was fully stocked and even had some coffee in the cabinet which was a plus because we forgot ours on the counter at home. Rooms were clean and cozy.

We had a wonderful stay. We caught lots of fish and a few scallops. The marinas have a place where you can clean all your fish and scallops. Just bring some ziplock bags for storage. And don’t forget a cooler. We needed a place to park the boat and rinse it every night after coming off the water and we were able to do just that! Can’t wait to book this place again next summer.
The place was beautiful!
The sunset each night was breathtaking.

We enjoyed our very pleasant stay at this address. It was very clean and the house was stocked with all the necessities. It was close to the marina and restaurants. Will definitely stay there again.

Fishing with buddies.

We stay just one night at our home we picked out on VRBO and we definitely like that it was exactly as the pictures listed it. We all agreed that if we come back for fishing or scalloping we would definitely try and stay at this location and would highly recommend to friends and family.

My family and friends have been fishing and scalloping in Steinhatchee for a number of years. In 2021 we took the plunge and purchased this property. We love sharing our home and experiences with other people.

Our home is located away from the bar scene on a quiet street. After a long day on the water it is a great place to relax.

If you have ever been in Steinhatchee during Scallops Season then you know what a challenge parking can become at the boat ramp. Since this home is located within walking distance of the boat ramp, when there is no parking there, you can bring your trailer back to the home. Also, since we are near to the entrance of Deadman's Bay then you can be on the Gulf in minutes instead of navigating the no wake zones.
