Spacious 2-Bedroom Near Main St by StayLage

An updated apartment in the heart of St. Charles near Main Street. A 2-bedroom apartment with a king bed and Queen Bed. Unit has central heat and air, a dishwasher, Wi-Fi and working space to meet any needs. Desirable area. This property is within proximity to Main Street St. Charles, Lindenwood University, and most major highways in the area. The laundry is free and, in the basement, but shared within the building.

PETS: To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests a fee of $100 per reservation will be charged to cover additional cleaning costs. Pet fees are NOT included in the original reservation price or room rate provided. This home is DOG friendly ONLY. Max of two dogs. Pet Fee will be sent and charged within 2 weeks of your arrival.

Although we do not like fees in order to maintain our units, we must make you aware of the following:
If you do not honor our pet policy (dog only disclosure) you will be fined $200.
Strict NO SMOKING policy. If you smoke inside you will be fined $250.
We are not responsible for items left behind by guests. If you leave an item behind and you want it to be sent back to you. We charge $25 for that item to be shipped plus the shipping costs.
Any stay greater than 21 days will require an additional long term cleaning fee of $50 that will be MANUALLY charged after reservation confirmation.
An unapproved late check-out fine is $50.

The stay was awesome me and my family enjoyed every moment! We had no problems through out the stay and plan to stay in one of these homes again! Very very clean as well!

Nice enough but needs a deep clean!

A fine sized apartment in a nice residential area. Close to Main Street restaurants, shops, and bars. The unit itself was not very clean. Floors had not been mopped and dust gathered in corners. Badly needs a deep cleaning.

Pre-move visit

My babe and I came to St Charles for a recon trip ahead of our family’s move this summer. We didn’t spend much time in the apartment, but it was sufficient for our needs.

Great location

We were in town for Easter to be with family. Great location for us to be only a block away from my daughters house. It is close enough to Main St, if you want to walk. Clean property, easy check in and out, the pictures look just like shown on line, although we had no reason for communicating, the text messaging made it easy and with quick responses. We also brought our dog which was a plus. We will rent this property again.

Plenty of room for a reasonable price

King bed was comfortable with four big pillows. Best of all, the host scrambled to get the place ready so that I could arrive a day early with only hours of notice! The plug-in air freshener was a bit much for my taste.

Thin walls between you & your neighbor

This is an apartment, so you can people staying above and beside you. Be prepared to hear every good step, conversation and feel like the neighbors in the same room as you. The place itself is ok. Not nearly as nice/new as the pictures show.

Poor

The dishwasher had horrible smell coming from it. The noise in the apartment above is was absolutely horrible. It was so loud that we would wake because of it. We could hear their music so clearly that we knew what song they were listening to. We would not stay here again. Thank you.

Space and accessibility

Very nice space. Exceptionally clean and well maintained and adequate supplies. King bed was very comfortable and made up nicely. Husband requires a walker at all times. 3 steps to enter with hand rails so easy to get in. And no other steps. No wheelchair access if you need that. Plenty of room to maneuver the walker. It is an apartment so there is noise from above but not all night or bad. Neighborhood is nice, safe and quiet streets. Two handicap parking spots. And best of all just minutes to starbucks!

Downtown St. Charles area

The beds were incredibly comfortable and there was ample closet/dresser space for storage. The pull-out bed did NOT have any bedding. At all. There was none in the closets or drawers or anywhere. We contacted the number listed for problems - and someone dropped off a blanket and a few pillows the following morning. We had to run to the gas station (it was around midnight when we realized there was absolutely NO bedding) and buy a few throw blankets to use the first night. The floors were gross. My grandson was walking around barefoot and his feet were BLACK from filth on the floors. The kitchen was adequately stocked (the can opener is broken though). Most of the dishes were visibly dirty. A cutting board under the cabinet had obviously not been washed and a serving spoon had lettuce or kale or something similar stuck to it. Many of the plates and forks were also dirty. We washed everything before using it. Overall, we enjoyed our visit - we were just grossed out about everything being so dirty and bummed about the lack of bedding.
