Welcome to our beautiful vacation rental in Watkins Glen, NY! This stunning property is just one block away from the Seneca Lake harbor and is within walking distance to all the restaurants, shopping, and state park.

Our spacious vacation rental features three bedrooms and one bathroom, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with comfortable beds and linens. There is also plenty of storage space for your belongings.

The bathroom is modern and stylish, with a shower/tub combo, a vanity, and fresh towels provided for your convenience.

In the living area there is a large sofa and armchairs, as well as a flat-screen TV with smart TV capabilities (no cable), perfect for movie nights or relaxing after a long day of exploring.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook delicious meals during your stay, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and all the necessary cookware and utensils. There is also a dining table that seats six people, perfect for enjoying meals together.

Outside, there is a lovely covered patio area, ideal for outdoor dining, or enjoy morning coffee while the rest are still sleeping. There is also private parking available for guests.

Purple house is just what my parents and cousins needed, close to the water, shopping restaurants and simple drives to many hiking trails. Happy with our stay here.

The property is in an excellent location. Right downtown, close to the water and you can walk to the shops and restaurants. It is very clean and cosmetically nicely done; however the property is very old and could use some updates.

We had a wonderful stay…..great location can walk to everything in downtown Watkins. Loved sitting outside. Very comfortable beds. Bill is very attentive ….Great location for wineries as well !!!

This was our second stay at the purple house and we had a wonderful time. The location is quiet, and an easy walk to both the lake and the main street where most of the restaurants and stores are. The host is very nice and very responsive. The place had a lot of amenities as well.

Perfect location!

My family had a great stay at the purple house! Perfect location, two blocks to the lake and to the shops in town! Beds are very comfortable, it was nice to have the kitchen to make breakfast, and room to hang out outside. Bill is very responsive to questions and provided recommendations of local events going on, which we appreciated.

The location of the property was great! We didn’t have to drive anywhere. The lake, Toby’s donuts, and other restaurants are all within walking distance. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we’re comfortable.

Perfect and very homey place to stay

My group of friends needed a place to stay for a track day at Watkins Glen, and this place was 100% perfect. Plenty of parking both in the driveway and on the street. The house was really cozy and perfect to decompress after a full day of track driving. Bill was very thorough in his communication and was very accommodating. I will not hesitate to book this place again for my annual track day or any other stays in town!

Perfect location. Felt safe. Owner responds immediately with questions. As they state- the pictures depict the property. It is older but spotless. It is exactly what I needed and you can walk to everything! Charming neighborhood and town.

Location and charm

Location is perfect: about a block from Seneca Lake and the busiest part of town. Even so it was quiet (at least in October). The house was very clean and the host responsive. My friends and I enjoyed our stay. It has the quirks inherent in older homes (eg, some rooms oddly shaped); as long as you find that charming you will love it.

Great Location, Very Comfortable

A really great spot for a long weekend! We were able to walk easily to the park and to our meals and the property itself was roomy, clean, and comfortable. The beds were great and the air conditioning was astonishing - I didn't know a window unit could work that well. I was surprised at how much we enjoyed spending time in the outdoor space. My only tip: don't forget to bring a hair dryer - it was the only thing I missed while we were there.

Great place

A friend and I only stayed one night in this cute little place on our way to a weekend retreat. We both loved it and will definitely be back. The house has a lot of character which makes the stay even more special. The house and property were clean and inviting. We didn’t use much besides a couple of beds and the bathroom/shower but what we did use was clean and comfortable. The property is within walking distance to downtown which is very convenient. The host was super responsive and helpful when asking for recommendations for sights and restaurants on our trip. I highly recommend this property and host.

Lakeside wanderings

We needed a place to stay close to family in a local town. We booked a long weekend to start our spring break and had a fun, yet relaxing time. We found a poker set in the house and played every night (all beginners, but we had so much fun)! We walked to the pier and enjoyed local places for coffee and pastries. We ventured to Ithaca as well and hiked the trails there at Taughanock Park as well as Watkins Glen State Park. This couldn’t be more convenient and the house has many lovely, homey touches. William is quick to respond with any questions (often within one minute) and was flexible and accommodating. We hope to stay here again on our next visit!

Fun time in Watkins.

This place has a great location. The neighborhood is safe and so quiet. All of the beds are very comfortable. The only drawback is that this is not the entire house. We were surprised there is an upstairs apartment. We did not see any mention of this in the narrative. The folks upstairs were quiet, so it was fine. Also, it stated there was a hot tub and sauna, which there were not. Not a big deal for us and we we still enjoyed ourselves.
