Loved it here

We booked this for my daughter and son in law and they loved staying here. The owners were so lovely, the place was very clean and comfortable, the kids loved the games, they definitely want to stay again!

It felt like meeting up with old friends when we arrived. Such thoughtful and welcoming hosts who rolled us right into their days as much as we wanted. The apartment was as advertised and very comfortable for four of us. Definitely will stay again if I’m in the area!

Perfect in every way!

As lots of others have noted, Shauna and Mario are warm and welcoming hosts. They go above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable. I have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and this one is heads above the rest. The space is cute, the kitchen extremely well outfitted, and it's really well located. I have already made arrangements to stay here on our next visit and will continue to do so for all future stays.

Great time!

Shauna and Mario are so welcoming and kind, they gave us a tour of the rental and made us feel at home, we would definitely stay here again! We stayed during the week of Christmas and they were kind enough to decorate it for us. The rental is located in a great part of town it was quiet and felt very safe. Our kids loved the farm animals and the barn cat!

Week in Centennial

Had a great time with my daughter for the week. Very comfortable stay. Our hosts were so hospitable. We loved the fresh eggs and opportunity to play with the goats and dogs. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing, relaxing property

My husband and I came and stayed for a week. Shauna and Mario were kind and friendly. They left snacks for us to enjoy and had s a couple suggestions when my husband spoke with them about our plans. We would love to stay again in the future!

Perfect retreat for a Denver vacation

We absolutely loved this apartment. Shauna and Mario were the friendliest people we have ever rented with. Every detail is thought of for convenience and comfort. If you are an animal lover, this is the place for you! The goats, chickens, dogs and cat were so fun!

Stop looking! You have found the best place ever!

Shauna and Mario are the most amazing hosts you will ever find! Very welcoming and accommodating to whatever we needed. The farm is so beautiful and having the goats and chickens there really enhanced our stay! Fresh farm eggs every morning!!! The apartment is so beautiful and clean! Kitchen has everything you need to make meals. Grocery store is a quick 5 min drive. You really don’t need to look further for a place in Denver…this is the place to be at!!!

Just like being at home... but better!

First, the property is so clean, warm, and relaxing. The bed was comfy and snuggly and the furnishings were cozy and comfortable. So many thoughtful touches throughout the property made our stay simply perfect! We loved that the property has the feel of being out in the country, and yet it's literally only minutes away from any amenity that one might want (restaurants, shopping, etc.). We got to interact with all the wonderful critters there, goats, chickens and beautiful Great Pyranees dogs (and can't forget the sweet barn cat, Ms. Marmalade!) We were so sad to leave. Shauna and Mario are such kind, wonderful people, I only wish our stay would have been longer, but we will definitely be back to stay here the next time we travel to Centennial!

We just wrapped up our second stay at the Country Living Private Apt w/ Mini Petting Zoo in Centennial — and as a family we’re completely smitten all over again.From the moment we pulled onto the property, we felt welcomed and at peace. The apartment is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished — everything you need is right there, and it’s obvious the hosts have poured love into every detail. The private entrance and patio gave us that perfect balance: our space, but with nature in full view. The goats, chickens, barn cat, and sweet dogs added so much joy — our kids talked about them non-stop. Collecting fresh eggs was a highlight, and the serene views were a daily reset.Shauna and Mario are simply remarkable hosts. They checked in with us beforehand, responded quickly with help or suggestions, and gave us the freedom to interact with the animals or just relax quietly. It never felt like “just a rental” — it felt like visiting dear friends’ place in the country.Bonus: the location is ideal. Quiet, rural, yet just minutes from shopping, restaurants, and easy highway access. You get the best of both worlds.If you’re seeking a warm, character-filled, relaxing escape — especially for families — this place is gold. We’ll be back again (and again). Couldn’t ask for more!

Mario and Shauna are the absolute BEST hosts we’ve ever experienced! We always choose to rent through VRBO or a similar site, so we have quite a bit of experience. Their commitment to creating a “home away from home” for us truly went above and beyond anything we’ve experienced previously. My husband normally visits a place once and looks forward to the next place. Our first day in Centennial, he said, “We’re coming back here!” This was just after we’d unloaded luggage after arrival. I can’t say enough good about the location, rental, and hosts. Book here! You won’t regret it.

A total change of scenery

We had a great stay here. The owners Shauna and Mario are incredibly kind and helpful. We, who came from France, wanted a real change of scenery in order to disconnect from our routine. Mission accomplished ! the children just as we loved the farm animals, especially for me the 2 twin kittens. If we have to come back to Colorado it seems obvious to us to come back and stay here. a big thank you again to Shauna and Mario for their hospitality and their kindness as well as for their advice on what to visit and for the breakfast provided in the fridge when we arrived. We really felt at home..we highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to come and visit Colorado

A Sweet Home Away From Home

I can not say enough good things about Shauna and the beautiful guest home! We were in Denver for a therapy intensive for our disabled son. From the moment we booked, Shauna was the most communicative/gracious host. She reached out prior to our stay to check that we did not have any questions or needs that she could address. She brainstormed and helped to accommodate our special circumstances. During our stay, Shauna and Mario were truly the perfect hosts. We felt so welcome and cared for. The guest space itself was plenty of space for our family of four. The beds were comfortable and warm. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need! The farm animals were an added bonus and a joy for our four year old. The location is a perfect stepping off point to explore around Denver. We truly felt like this was the perfect home away from home for our family and can’t wait to come back!

Location was ideal for our stay, with lots of shopping nearby. Space is clean and decorated with Colorado touches and beautiful artwork of owner.Hosts are wonderful people and quickly became friends/family that we will keep in touch with and see again when we are in Denver. So welcoming, engaging and kind.The property is well cared for, space is roomy and comfortable. Beds are very comfortable. Animals are an added bonus, we enjoyed interacting with them every day. Bike trails are easily accessible in the neighborhood, connecting many miles of trails - including into Cherry Creek State Park. Can also take walks through the neighborhood. Lots of sunshine every day.

A delightful hidden gem

We just returned from our wonderful one-week stay. I cannot even begin to tell you how much we enjoyed Mario and Shauna and their guest apartment. Communication was outstanding. Shauna reached out beforehand to answer any questions and to ask if we had any needs. Even throughout our stay, they were just a quick text or phone call away. They were also so communicative about when they feed the farm animals and put them bed, when they gather the eggs, etc., so that my children could come along and be a part of it. The apt itself was well-equipped and well-stocked with anything you could think of. It was also extremely clean, comfortable, and spacious. As for the farm, it was so much fun hanging out with the animals and getting to know their personalities, playing with them, and feeding them. My children absolutely loved every minute with the goats, cats, and chickens. We also thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with Mario and Shauna. They are a delightful, friendly, helpful, and down to earth couple. We highly recommend! Thank you for the hospitality!

My husband and I previously owned a sweet little rental in our home a few miles away, and we absolutely loved hosting travelers, retirees, business executives, travel nurses, etc. So, when we moved to this location, the first thing we did was to build out another rental apartment, so that we could continue hosting. And, it's been wonderful. This property has allowed us to expand our family (out into one of our two barns:), so we now have 2 Great Pyrenees whose job it is to guard the barn kitties, 20 chickens and 4 goats. It's like a mini petting zoo, where you are welcome to wander into the fenced in barnyard or the pastures at anytime, and collect your own fresh eggs or play with the goats and dogs.
Mario manages a restaurant, and is a great cook, and I am retired from 43 years working in Emergency Services, and now create goofy watercolor and ink greeting cards, inspired by my barnyard animals.

People who live in the city love to come here and experience what country life feels like. You are welcome to walk around the property, visit with the goats, and collect eggs for your breakfast the next morning. It's quiet, peaceful, and relaxing, yet it's very close to the major attractions and entertainment that the big city has to offer. And, your hosts (us:) are exceptional! We respect your privacy, but we will be as social and friendly as you would like ~ you set the pace.
