Arcade games for the kids to play and TVs in every room SCORE! Located near most of what we had planned and easy to get to from the airport. Spacious rooms and laundry onsite. Huge kitchen and gathering area upstairs. Great view of the mountains in the distance. A near perfect stay!

My spouse and I and another couple stayed here for five nights. Although the house was in a great location to get everywhere we went, including close access to the balloon fest, we found several faults with the house itself. To start with, this is not a house for anyone with mobility issues, you walk into the basement where there are three bedrooms and a bathroom and have to climb two flights of stairs to get to the kitchen, dining area, livingroom and master bedroom. I am 5'4" and the queen bed and the king bed were very difficult to get into because they were so high off the ground. The master bedroom and bathroom were basically all one room which we found very inconvenient. There is no door between the bedroom and bathroom and laying in bed, I could practically lean over and watch my spouse in the shower. And being as it was all one room, the shower made the whole room steamy and warm. Not ideal if you have an early riser and one who sleeps in. The thermostat was located in the basement, which seems really odd when that is the coolest place in a house. Had to freeze out the basement bedrooms in order to make the upstairs comfortable. Each room was given only two bath towels, had to hunt for a washcloth and the hand towels by the sink were the only ones. Kitchen was stocked ok, except they only had huge glasses, no small ones for juice or small glass of milk. Overall, the house could have been cleaner, better stocked, but it worked for our purposes.

Large home for 3 couples. Lots of fun games. Well appointed kitchen. Watched hot air balloons take off by the river from the front deck - you have to get up early tho…6AM! It’s worth it. Convenient location to grocery and restaurants. Would recommend having a nightstand on each side of the beds.

Golf Trip to New Mexico

Small group of guys in town for a few days to play golf in the area and the house was great! Had everything we needed and it was clean, well appointed and we loved the video games. Great location and loved the view of the mountains and lights at night and the hot air balloons in the morning. Great communication by the owner and no issues.

Attending a Memorial

Came in for a memorial for my nephew and chose this house and was an extraordinary stay. The view of the mountains were amazing! If I could have giving this place 10 stars I definitely would. The host Sean was so accommodating and so understanding. Everything about the house was outstanding and the added games was a plus for the kids. Would definitely stay here again hopefully not for a memorial but for a vacay. Thank you Sean!

Great Experience

My family and I flew in for a wedding, and it was our first time in Albuquerque. The host was great and always available for communication. The view of the mountains at sunset and the nighttime view of the city we’re incredible. I would definitely book this stay again!

Didn’t love as much as the owners do.

The owners sent 3 different multiple page emails with “rules” for guests as well as signage around the unit. We wanted to love this home as much as the owners do. So in response we recommend the following “rules” for hosts:1. Offer a working fireplace in the living room along with instructions for its use. We replaced the batteries in the remote and still could not get it to work. A previous guest 3 months ago also could not get it to work. The overnight high temperature was 2 degrees while we were there. The fireplace was a big reason for selecting this property. 2. Heat your unit to at least 65 degrees. We visited on one of coldest weekends of the year and the heat was set at 52 degrees when we arrived! It took several hours to heat it to a modest 65-70 degrees. The bedrooms were ice cold most of the first night. We should not have to wait that long for basic heat.3. Provide a kitchen towel and hot pads for use of the stove/oven. Safety is worth the 10 that would cost. There weren’t even any paper towels in the unit. 4. Leave a spare roll of toilet paper in each bath. There were partial rolls in the bathrooms which we had to ration for 4 people. Ridiculous.5. Do not expect or ask your guests to clean the bathrooms at check out. You charged a substantial amount for a cleaning fee. That’s part of what it’s for.6. Have working ceiling fans. Most of the ceiling fans did not work even after buying and replacing the batteries in the remotes. 7. Windows were dirty.
