This 1950’s old Florida pool home has recently been renovated and newly decorated with a midcentury style furniture featuring original hardwood floors, king size bed in the master bedroom, and queen size bed on the 2nd bedroom, and full-size sleeper sofa. Centrally located near downtown Fort Lauderdale close to the beach, Las Olas, Hard Rock, airport, seaport, train station, and convention center. The Zen-like backyard adorns a large swimming pool, synthetic grass with putting green, fire pit, BBQ grill, water feature, and tropical landscaping with night lighting. This beautiful cottage welcomes you to lush, well-lit grounds, a private driveway for up to four vehicles to a covered front porch entrance.

Everything was perfect. House was beautiful and we loved the backyard. Bed was very comfy. Gary was very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place! We’ve stayed three times. The house is super clean and well appointed, the back yard and pool are amazing, and the owners are the most pleasant and attentive individuals. I highly recommend.

Solo Vacation

Had a great relaxing stay at Blue Lotus. Property is immaculately kept. Back yard is truly an oasis. Owner communicated clearly and I got in with no issues. The home is incredibly well kept and clean. I did uber to Las Olas Beach one day, about 15 minutes. Great stay!

Literally no need to go to the beach when you have your own private gorgeous oasis in the backyard. Such a beautiful property management/owners were phenomenal. Definitely will be staying here again when we have the opportunity to.

What a great place!

First, the host was awesome to work with. He was very accommodating. The house is adorable and well appointed. We had everything we needed plus some. And the location is perfect…. Close to everything. I highly recommend this location.

So nice to sit by the pool!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Lotus. Gary is a great host - extremely responsive. House is very cute and cozy. Kitchen is compact but very functional. The real star is the backyard pool area. Several sitting areas both shaded and in the sun. The landscaping is really pretty with plenty of palm trees. Believe it or not, it’s even nicer than the pics. Very convenient location - max 15-20 minute drive to most places you’d want to go.

Wonderful and relaxing stay

We came here with twin infants and this house was perfect! We had our own little oasis and didn’t need to leave if we didn’t have to. The house was clean and very welcoming. You had everything you needed to cook. Very close to restaurants and beaches. What you see on the listing is very accurate. The neighborhood is very quiet. We would stay here again if we come back to Ft. Lauderdale.

FTL Getaway

I was in desperate need of a getaway vacation after the New Year and Christmas holidays. This home in Fort Lauderdale couldn't have been more perfect. Centrally located in the heart of the city, it was seemingly close to all the major attractions and about 8 min. from the airport. Upon arrival, I had some issues with the electronic door lock. Gary and Rocio were easy to reach by phone and had a backup plan already in place just in case there was an issue. They actually came over to the house the very next day to fix the lock. The home contained everything one would need for vacation, from kitchen to living room to the awesome pool and backyard which included a brand new Weber grill! Also, since I'm kind of a technology geek, the home had high speed internet, DirectTV, and RokuTV so you could log into your own favorite TV apps in case you wanted to catch up on a show if there was a rainy day. As I live in NJ, winter weather can cause a problem with travel as was the case with this trip. Rocio and Gary were able to extend my vacation so that I was able to travel after the snowstorm that was happening at home. All I can say is awesome and impressive! I will most definitely be back.

Exactly as described

The host was super nice, the house is very clean and the location makes it convenient for airport, beaches and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable and rooms very quiet making for a very restful night. Really enjoyed our stay!

This quaint old Florida home built in 1952, retains its original floor plan, barrel tiled roof, and hardwood floors. Its old-world charm meets new world upgrades to form exquisite character inside and out. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee and evening glass of wine in the cozy front porch. The tropical like backyard hosts a large swimming pool, surrounded by luscious foliage, mature trees, synthetic grass and a putting green. Comfortable lounge seating under a covered pergola, sunny chaise lounges with umbrella are poolside and relaxing Adirondack chairs next to a gas firepit and the Buddha water feature will help you connect to nature and relax. A large BBQ gas grill is available for the outdoor Chef in you. I am confident that your stay at the Blue Lotus Cottage will be meet all your expectations for enjoyment and will leave a long lasting positive experience.
