Large private condominium apartment at the resort condominium complex on the beach in sunny Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. 2 bedrooms with private attached bathroom. 2nd bathroom down the hall with shower, large living area, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar. PLUS, large private view deck looking out towards ocean. Beach chairs, pool towels, full size appliances including air conditioning and washer dryer.
Really, just hit the grocery store and you are set for the week!

General Info:
The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18-hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60-foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

Would Stay Here Again

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented a 2 bed, 2 bath unit for a week that was on the third floor of building B. It happened to be very close to the end of the building so we had a fabulous ocean view as well as a nice view of the pool and well-manicured grounds. The unit was not fancy but had been updated with hard floors (no carpet, yay!) and had plenty of seating even when we maxed out the occupancy with 7 people for two of the nights. The kitchen was small of course, but all the appliances worked. We didn't use the oven, but the cooktop was a little finicky. The beds were comfortable for adults, and we had two kids that slept on the pullout and on the cute twin-sized murphy bed. Lots to do nearby in Kihei, and it's only 15-20 minutes from the airport which was handy since I had to run people back and forth a few times while we were there. The pool was great, the shuffleboard courts were fun, and it was so nice to have such easy access to the beach (with tons of turtles) and beautiful sunset views. We would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 6 people in our party and needed two condos close to each other. We found two units in the same building here and it was fantastic. We had 3 teenagers, and my mother in law, and my husband and I. There were plenty of places to sleep, so all the kids had their own space. The pool and spa were great and the beach is right there- we walked on the beach every morning. This is not the "glitzy" area of Maui. Kihei is a great location though, because you are close to any of the beaches, close to the airport, shopping etc. Both units we rented had all the supplies you could possibly need - beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels and mats, pool toys, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards... you name it! I wasn't sure when booking this because it wasn't around any fancy resorts, but we had the most amazing time ever!!

Vacation rental review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was OK at best. It was hot and the fact that the AC is on a 4 hour timer was a PROBLEM. Almost every night myself and my girlfriend woke up in the middle of the night sweating and had to turn the AC back on. We also had ants and several people in our party in other rooms did too. We also had a random stranger banging on our door and pushed his way into the condo saying "I usually stay here and I need to grab some stuff out of the closet" super sketchy.
