Aloha y Bienvenido a Kihei Sands Beachfront Condominiums Condo B14 en el soleado sur de Maui. El interior de este condominio es TODO NUEVO debido a una remodelación completa reciente, que incluye baños nuevos, gabinetes y electrodomésticos nuevos en una cocina totalmente equipada, muebles nuevos de estilo hawaiano, ropa de cama, obras de arte, decoraciones y mucho más.

Kihei Sands Condominium se encuentra directamente en una de las mejores playas de Maui, Sugar Beach. Perfect location and property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Kihei Sands was perfect. It was so great staying just steps from the beach. We had multiple units with grandparents / family, and the small location made it easy to always find a patio table for lunch, beach chairs for lounging. The properties all had their own beach gear that we used both on this small harbor beach, and also brought with us to bigger surf beaches elsewhere on Maui. The location is perfect to either hang on the beach, but also central to Maui so you aren't far from any of the tourist spots. Fruit stands, convenience store, and restaurants all walkable from the condo. We have stayed on Maui before this trip, and would stay here again over the huge resorts elsewhere.

Great location but condo needs work

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve stayed at this location 3 times. When we arrived, the toilet was running non stop & the fridge was leaking water all over the kitchen. The office closed before we arrived. We went down the next morning to report the issues. It took until later in the evening for someone to come fix the toilet. We went down again right before they closed to confirm someone was going to fix it. The person working knew nothing about it. We were having to mess with the tank every single time we used the toilet. We were there for 9 nights. No one ever came to do anything about the fridge. I had to keep using the kitchen towels to soak up the water and washing them. Additionally someone before us had spilled a bunch of water in the freezer and left it. Probably from the ice trays. The ad claimed there were new appliances and with the rust spots inside the freezer i doubt that. Space claims to sleep 6. Just because it can doesn’t mean it should. The table takes up a ton of space and fits only 4. If you pull out the sofa sleeper it makes space so tight you can’t really move. The coffee table is in the way. The furniture is too big for such a small space. The downstairs room has twin beds. They can be combined to make a king. It’s the only room with a door. They charge extra to push it together. Both mattresses in this condo were so horrifically uncomfortable we had to purchase mattress toppers. The headboards for the downstairs bedroom are connected to the wall in the twin bed positions so trying to sit up in bed to watch tv is uncomfortable because there’s nothing comfortable to lean on. The partition in the shower does not reach far enough to stop water from getting onto the floor. So every time you shower you soak the tiny towel they provide and the floor. I spent more on laundry to wash the towels that were soaking up water in this place than I did on my own clothes. Every place I have stayed has insulated coffee cups and wine glasses available. T

The condos were comfy and has everything we could have needed. We loved the sand toys and boogie boards. The property is in a great location with lots of shopping and food choices nearby. Family vacation

Information was shared with us from the beginning of our booking. We received information about the area such as things to do and eat. A week before we received information on how to check-in and check-out of the condo. It was great to receive a welcoming package especially after long flight. We enjoyed the facility and its amenities - pool and beachfront, and we even used the grill for a night in. It was a quiet place and the room was sufficient for a family of 4. We spent most of our time outdoors, surfing and exploring the island. A few things to note. The parking spaces are a bit narrow so you have to be cautious in getting in and out of your car. The king size bed is upstairs that may hinder those who have trouble with stairs as the stairs are a bit narrow. The bathrooms are an open shower concept with a partial barrier wall but be prepared to have a wet toilet floor. Overall, it was a perfect place for our family. We would go back.

Concierge office very helpful with any questions and advice on to do and see. Helped us with phone numbers for Luau's etc. They have beach chairs, Towels, Cooler in the room and on the padio available are floatation tubes and Boogey boards. Also on the patio are a couple barbecue's if wanted or needed. Would definitely stay here again.

You get some relief in the late afternoon which is nice for swimming in the ocean. Pool is not heated but ocean is warm and pool is only slightly cooler.

A Quiet Maui Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have enjoyed many stays at Kihei Sands & have stayed in both 1 and 2 bedroom units. We have shared a condo with another couple, adult children & have had our grandchildren along with their parents in an additional unit. We enjoy the early mornings on the lanai with a cup of coffee which is provided, watching the sunrise, watching for whales & quiet walks on the beach. There is an ABC store, a bakery and a shave ice store, farmers market & a sandwich shop all within walking distance. Any issues we have had from trouble with the TV, a broken toaster, or missing kitchenware are dealt with promptly. The staff are super friendly and are available & onsite 7 days a week. B14 is a well equipped unit, there are ample dishes, servingware, pots and pans and a good assortment of small appliances.

March 2023 visit to Maui
