An amazing place to stay!

I just wished we could have stayed longer! This is a special place! We enjoyed ourselves immensely! The Jacuzzis tub was so relaxing!

July 4th Getaway

This is our second time staying at this property. It’s located perfectly to trails, main area for restaurants and Highway 12 access. The quietness and the amenities of the home continue to make our stay enjoyable.

Adorable Cabin!

We loved the space and location of the house. It feels secluded but it's close to town and other tourist activities. The cabin felt very homey and was well stocked with kitchen and house items. A great find!

Beautiful location!

The house was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The yard was amazing, drawing in visitors such as a doe and her tiny fawn, 3 turkey hens with all their babies, rabbits, and a mother grouse with all her babies. Such a beautiful area to stay - we hope to come back!

Summer Get Away

Stay was excellent. Home is beautiful and the location is perfect. Very clean, close to the creek and walking distance to businesses in Cuchara. Enjoyed having our dog with us. Lake fishing and hiking near by. We had a relaxing stay and will be back!

Cuchara Cabin

The property was perfect for my family. Location is beautiful and peaceful. There is wild life everywhere (deer, pheasant, turkey, rabbits to name a few). Several lakes within 5 miles for fishing, hiking, etc. The Spanish Peaks are beautiful. La Veta is great little vit

Peaceful

The home is very relaxing and peaceful with all the amenities one might need. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the variety of wildlife that visited. We especially enjoyed watching the fawns and rabbits play and the curious bear cub. The wildflower natural yard is wonderful!

Great Host and Property.

Everything was great. The cabin is in a great location, and you have access to a variety of parks, trails, etc. The cabin is clean and extremely well organized. We got hit by a mid-March snowstorm and got snowed in for a day, and Krista went out of her way to get us plowed out and provide information. Great overall experience and highly recommended!

Perfect Property

We had the best stay at this cabin! It was a perfect layout for 2 families with 4 kids total. The kitchen has everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner every day and the village was a short 12 minute walk from the property for lunch. This house has a great outdoor living space and all the doors/windows opening made the evenings in incredibly enjoyable. Wi-Fi was strong although we barely needed it because we spent most of the time outside talking and enjoying the scenery. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy the property again! Thank you for sharing your space!

Perfect location for rest and relaxation. You won't be sorry!!!

Where to start? From the beginning to the end, we were nothing short of amazed with the entirety of this experience. The customer service was immaculate. The home and location were everything we could have asked for and more. We honestly felt like we overpacked because of the number of amenities and offerings provided by the hosts. Cuchara is a charming town with plenty of outdoor activities in the surrounding area. We have young children and a dog and we never worried that there wouldn't be something to keep them entertained (especially with a creek right outside the back door). 10 out of 10 would recommend, and would love to visit again in the future.
