Amazing St. Lucian vacation property

We had a fantastic stay in this property with our family group of 6 adults. The space was perfect for our group, providing plenty of room and comfort. The location was ideal, with three beautiful beaches just 15 minutes or less away. The patio and pool get plenty of sun and the porch offers shade, and a trade winds breeze also makes being outside all hours very comfortable. Communication from the host and property manager was excellent throughout, making check-in and our stay seamless. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the NFL playoffs were available on the local cable package—an unexpected treat for our destination! The property was well-kept, and the daily cleaning service was a nice touch, keeping everything fresh and tidy. We would definitely return again!

You won’t tire of the views!

Clean and comfortable home with great communication from owner if anything is needed. The views in just about every room are spectacular! Vicky made us a delicious meal. Sitting by the pool couldn’t have been nicer. The week went by too fast!

Stunning!

Our group of 4 couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Ivrea during our week in paradise. The home was well sticked, comfortable and roomy with enough space for 8 of us to lounge around and also have privacy. Vicky was fabulous and the meal she made for us was delicious. The view from the pool was just stunning and where we spent most of our time. Victor drove us all around and was available every time we called him which was super convenient. Owner met us at check-in to show us around and answer questions was also there to say goodbye when we left. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hated to leave paradise and look forward to returning one day soon.

Paradise and an Amazing View

Our family of 6 stayed here for 7 days. Space was sufficient for 6. The location, pool, and view are stunning. Lovely gardens, fruit trees, and outdoor grounds are well maintained. We tried to use the grill and found it didn't work. Seemed to not have a gas source. Inside the house the architecture and artwork is impressive. Cabinets are well stocked with everything you need to prepare food and host a group of people. We noted some minor maintenance items in need of attention, which we communicated to the property manager, but nothing you wouldn't encounter on any property. Overall the property was ideal for the trip we wanted to have, providing us with privacy but access to easily get into Rodney Bay and Gros Islet. I would book here again.

Incredible Views, Great Atmosphere

This villa was the perfect setup for our large family with teens and young adults. The home was ideally architected to provide a gathering place that included kitchen, family room, deck and pool area in one continuous open space that accentuated the awesome view from high atop a hill overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Claudette, the property manager was quick to help with any question or need we had. Vicky, the cook/housekeeper, was a welcome addition with laundry, dishes, and meals which allowed us to relax. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and stay here again should the opportunity arise.

Best birthday ever!

I came to St. Lucia with my three grown children and two spouses to celebrate my 70th birthday. It couldn't have been a more wonderful location for us! The Villa is spectacular, and the welcome from Claudette the property manager and Vicky, the cook/housekeeper was sincere and warm. The villa has so much room for all of us to gather, but also plenty of areas where we can quietly go to read or rest. The location was beautifully secluded to make us feel we were not really tourists. The VRBO photos don't even give the full effect of the beauty of this place! Would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you!

Dream getaway!

This was the most peaceful, relaxing vacation we have ever had. The house and grounds were beautiful and the owner and housekeeper were both so lovely and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. If you want to disconnect from the rest of the world and recharge with beautiful views, THIS is the place to do it!

Exactly like the listing said it would be

This property was exactly the way it's listed online. Ive Rented plenty of properties using home away and some properties exaggerated a little bit. Miss Bertha did a absolute wonderful job as the house maid. And that Creole chicken and rice and plantains and potatoes that she cooked us for lunch was delicious. Everyone was drinking the Creole sauce like it was soda. The views from the house and the pool were amazing. And I also love the fact that we were closer to town but also away from town. It was so peaceful. I do recommend having a rental. One night we tried calling a taxi and the one guy was on the other side of the island and the number to another guy he gave us didn't know how to get to the villa. Everyone kept asking me how to get to the Villa as if Im from St Lucia. I gave perfect directions from the golf course to the villas and they still had no clue what I was talking about. There was only two complaints that we had. We asked that the two King beds be broken down to two single beds. That did not happen but everyone was fine with the arrangement so we didn't make a big deal out of it. Also, the TV in the cottage did not work. I didn't really care because I don't really watch TV while on vacation. we plan to revisit the island in about 3 years. More than likely we will rebook cap estate.

Amazing villa; amazing views!

The Villa is even better than the pictures suggest. It was spacious, and reasonably well-equipped (for a rental property). Plenty of beach towels and pool towels supplied. And the views were absolutely amazing. A vehicle seems necessary to get to beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. We had an amazing day on a speed boat charter out of the Rodney Bay marina.

Gorgeous Property

Villa Ivrea is a very stately home. As opposed to some Caribbean villas we've stayed in, it was very comfortable. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, and has a magnificent view of St. Lucia Passage. The property manager and staff were extremely attentive to our needs, and the owners looked to our comfort through VRBO contact messaging to ensure our needs were met.

What a view!

Our week was wonderfully relaxing in this beautiful home. The first floor living space was very comfortable but admittedly we spent most of our stay on the porch overlooking the pool, the flowers and the Caribbean. It was very warm in October so we were able to open the doors and windows allowing the sea breezes to flow through the house. At night, we retreated to our air conditioned bedrooms. As five women, we prepared our own meals whenever we ate in but Berta was always there to help out whenever we had a question or needed something. So, from the moment that Claudette (the property manager) greeted us to Victor (our amazing taxi driver) dropping us off at the airport, we felt totally pampered. And as a major highlight, Lisa prepared a celebratory feast for us on our last night in St. Lucia.

This was the best property I’ve ever stayed! The views are breath taking. It’s located away from mainstream, yet close enough to multiple grocery stores and shopping. I can not say enough about this property. Picturesque, again, beautiful scenery, clean and secluded. I will definitely be back and stay here!

Amazing views!

My Birthday Family Vacation was wonderful! We have a VRBO Rental of our own in Marco Island, so I am familiar with the way things work. This home is lovely! Just as beautiful as listed. The home is very spacious. Air conditioned bedrooms upstairs and nice breeze coming through the entire downstairs. The staff is wonderful. Claudette was attentive to our needs. Bertha is sweet and hardworking. We asked her to join us on our boating adventure to Martinique. Victor provided us with much knowledge of the island and drove us everywhere we asked. We enjoyed family time together and visited Mud baths, zip lines, volcano tour, green buggies adventure, beaches, great dinners and boating. Took some amazing pictures and would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Happy to go back to Villa Ivrea

We rented this property 8 years ago. Went back this time for our anniversary. The property is now even more beutiful. And the view! Almost 150 degrees of ocean view from most of the rooms in the house. The rooms are stunning and have nice and cool AC. Berta made breakfast for us every day and cooked great food. We drove to 4 beaches and went hiking. Villa Ivrea is close to everything. One thing to keep in mind is that groceries are expensive in Saint Lucía. Even if you buy the ingredients and Berta cooks meals for you, you will be spending $$ on food. This is not a negative. Just make sure you know you will be spending around 40-50 USD per person a day if you are eating local.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Aproximadamente a 45 minutos en coche, yendo hacia la ciudad de Soufriere, usted encontrará el Sendero Natural de Tet Paul, situado en diez hectáreas de tierra lozana y verde en la colectividad rural de Chateau Belair. El sendero se encuentra bajo la Dirección de los Pitons, un sitio patrimonial de Santa Lucía. La excursión del sendero se asemeja a un acenso hacia el cielo sobre una hermosa escalera natural. El nivel de dificultad de la travesía está entre fácil y moderado y la misma dura aproximadamente 45 minutos. El sendero ofrece varias de las vistas más espectaculares de Sur de la isla, como la Bahía de Jealousie, el Petit Piton, el Gran Piton así como las islas de la Martinica y San Vicente durante días claros.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

El Saint Lucia Golf & Country Club (18 hoyos), localizado dentro del mismo Cap Estate, está tan sólo a 5 minutos de distancia en coche. Su tarifa para una ronda de golf (incluyendo el carrito) es de €115 durante la temporada alta y los jugadores pueden salir a jugar a partir de las 6h45. Si usted desea saber más sobre acerca de tarifas preferenciales, por favor denos las fechas exactas que usted tiene en mente, así como el número de gente en su grupo. Lamentablemente, la cancha de golf de Jack Nicklaus al lado de Villa Ivrea, no será terminada antes del otoño 2014, pero estamos seguros que una vez que usted la vea, usted querrá volver en cuanto ellos abran. Una gran alternativa es la cancha de golf de La Toc (9 hoyos), situada a 30 minutos al sur en coche. La Toc es la cancha de golf más antigua de la isla. El campo es bastante inclinado, pero las vistas expansivas del Puerto de Castries y el Mar Caribe lo hacen realmente una opción a considerar. Su tarifa es de €50 por vuelta y ellos no tienen carritos.
