Newly remodeled waterfront home in a beautifully protected bay on Finley Point!

Welcome to our family cabin! It is a meticulously clean home with well-appointed kitchen and large deck for barbecues overlooking the water. It is a short walk to a community beach where you can swim in a protected bay with large sundeck and floating island. Tasteful decor with all the conveniences of home: wifi, large tv, washer/dryer, air conditioning, and dishwasher. Located in a quiet community 65 miles south of Glacier National Park and 75 miles north of Missoula. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am.

Definitely one of the best places we have ever stayed at. The online pictures just don’t do it justice. The host was very responsive, house was immaculate, views are incredible, had everything we needed and more, and the decor was adorable. Our stay could not have been more perfect. Thank you!

You can tell how much care the owners put into curating this lovely family cabin. If you are a stickler for details, it does not disappoint. Quick drive to Polson for groceries and easy access to Glacier National Park for day trips. We enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat! If you travel in the summer, a drive up to the Big Fork Summer Playhouse is worth the trip.

House by the Lake

This is a beautiful home on Flathead Lake with an amazing view, plenty of space and a relaxing atmosphere. The house has everything a family could want for a great vacation including board games, a spacious deck to entertain on and all of the kitchen supplies needed to prepare a meal. We never even turned on the television during our stay. We had 3 generations of family and everyone had a wonderful time. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Quiet and Peaceful Getaway

We really liked this house on Finley Point. Great views and very quiet/peaceful. Well furnished and decorated. Very good kitchen and lots of deck space. Great spots to have your morning coffee and look out at the water. No curtains on the windows, so plan on getting up early.

Girls getaway

We came to Montana to get away for the weekend and do some white water rafting. Loved the cabin! We spent a lot of time on the deck at the table, eating and playing games. Short walk to water and sun deck. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Finley Point Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at the Nelsen cabin. The location proximate to a small North facing cove on Finley was excellent. The cabin is just steps from the shore and appeared to be recently very tastefully renovated. We had a great time disconnecting for few days and would definitely stay here again.

Perfect vacation house on lake

Great property with easy access to the lake. House was very clean and recently remodeled with new kitchen. The kitchen was well supplied with all the cooking pots, pans, utensils, bowls etc that you need to cook a nice meal for the family. I also appreciated that the pantry was well stocked with spices, condiments, coffee and cleaning supplies. All the furniture appears new and is perfect for a Montana lake house. Nice decks with BBQ, table and Adirondack chairs to enjoy the view of the lake. The house sits on a protected bay that is perfect for the kids to swim and paddle around. Flat head lake is a magical place. I give the house 5 stars and we enjoyed our stay. The one thing to note is that the house does not have AC. Typically not an issue, as it cools down at night, but if there is smoke from wildfires it becomes a bit problematic. Something to keep in mind that I didn’t realize when I booked the house. Even w/out the AC I would happily book again on our next trip.

Lake revisited

I had not been at Flathead lake for over 50 years. The trip was a nostalgic visit. The lake was as beautiful as I remembered and the home we rented completed the trip. It was everything we hoped it would be.

Better than expected! New and clean!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The house is beautiful, well organized and spotless. The views of the lake are incredible. We loved having coffee on the deck and a family bbq at night. The owners make it so comfortable and easy for guests to enjoy. They thought of everything from kitchen supplies to games and bear spray. The access to the lake was great and the kids would frequently fish and swim. The house is private and we felt like we had our own private bay. Such a special place. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Our stay met all our expectations and more. Had a wonderful view and a very cute house. Only bummer was the bad weather prevented our fishing trip but no way to avoid that. Thank you for letting us stay in your rental.

We are a busy family of four from Missoula, MT. When we are not doing kid activities we love downtime by the lake. We bought our cabin because some close friends own a property in the same development and we’ve enjoyed seeing the same families return each summer. We’ve enjoyed the lovely close knit community.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Proximity to the water is the big draw. Multiple community beaches within walking distance and a large sun deck and floating swim dock and a beautiful rock sea wall makes for a great fishing spot. Our cabin is cozy but well appointed with all the comforts of home.
