The sound of silence. Reconnect with family at this special cabin in the woods

This is a very private modern home that is perfect for small families to get together and enjoy time well spent. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a wonderful family meal. Outdoor dining is my favorite. Deer come right up to the porch and we have rare birds that visit daily. We also have access to parks, kayaking, fishing and a saltwater pool. If you love hiking we have a 20,000 acre wildlife refuge just around the corner with free trails.

I couldn’t ask for a better home to stay in. The lay out is perfect to allow space yet still be together. The covered porch allowed us to be together, play cornhole & bbq even in the heavy rains. It was important to me to find a home that sat 6 people for family meals and this home allowed that inside and out. The kitchen and entire house was stocked with anything we could have needed. As mentioned in the house description we had deer, birds & squirrels in the back and side yard on a couple occasions. They were beautiful to watch, I must also mention the stunning view from the back yard. The area is quiet yet a convenient location to many places. The home owner was friendly, offered suggestions on the area and updates on a storm in the area. I would rent this location again the next time we visit Texas. Thank you for helping to make our family vacation perfect

Just as lovely the second time around.

Our family loves this lake home--it has such a welcoming atmosphere. This was our second stay. It was just as peaceful and fun as the first time. That huge back patio is too nice with deer and the birds hanging out with us. Joni is the sweetest host--very responsive. The community pool was nice--probably better for younger families but still the surrounding parks and walking trails are great.

Perfect Stay – Serene, Scenic, and Exceptionally Hosted!

Our stay at this VRBO was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, providing thoughtful touches and excellent communication throughout our stay.The house itself was immaculate, beautifully furnished, and stocked with all the essentials (and then some!). The setting was peaceful and picturesque—perfect for unwinding and enjoying the natural beauty surrounding the property. Perfect Stay!

This home is absolutely wonderful and has more than you could ever need for a relaxing get-away. We will be staying many times in the future, one of the best places in Lago in our opinion, and we've seen several. Little touches that make a huge difference, 5 minutes away from everything, yet tucked away and private. Beautifully decorated!

Serenity of Nature with quick access to town

This is a wonderful lake home with lovely touches everywhere. It feels very private and secluded but in 5 minutes you can be in town to pick up anything. Close to fishing, hiking and amazing parks. The hosts could not have been nicer. Very chill, responsive and offered great info on the area. The deer visits are surreal. We got to sit on the big back patio and have our morning coffee with the deer. Come on!! It was special.

Perfect Getaway

Home was everything that the description said. Our favorite was the back porch facing amazing views. Home was very convenient and well stocked. Country feeling, yet close to stores and restaurants. Great hill in the back yard to climb down. Highly recommend Flat CreeK Estate Winery in Marble Falls. Host was very quick to respond, and very informative

I love the food truck Park just around the corner. I also love all the local music. The views are absolutely spectacular and the hiking is some of the best in Texas.

This home has four sets of Nine foot French doors that look out to the valley and the lake. The ceilings are 10 ft . The natural light cannot be captured on camera.
