For your next family vacation, look no further than this cozy Hamlin Lake retreat located in Ludington Michigan and near Lake Michigan beaches, state parks, and quaint downtown Ludington. At this 6-bedroom, 4-bath vacation rental, you’ll have access to at-home comforts and amenities including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping arrangements for at least 12, a heated in-ground pool, hot tub, kayaks, and more. Spend your days relaxing at the pool, fishing out front, or rent a boat at a nearby marina for a day on the water. Each evening you can catch beautiful sunsets while you warm in front of a gas firepit from the large 2-level deck.

Several nearby marinas offer boat rentals by the day or week. Boats can be tied up out front of the cottage on the seawall. Barnhart's Marina and Restaurant is a short walk up the street where you can relax for a meal or gas up your boat.

Take a quick 10 mile drive into downtown Ludington where you can watch the Badger come in, eat at myriad restaurants, enjoy ice cream from the famous House of Flavors, shop quaint boutiques, hit the beach, or walk out to the Lighthouse.

This is such a cute lake side cabin! We loved drinking coffee on the deck in the morning looking at the lake. The hot tub was perfect in the evening and we even were able to use the heated pool despite it being chilly out. Beds were comfortable and plentiful. Perfect spot for a girls’ weekend.

Family stay

I booked 3 nights at this location and it was perfect for all of the entire family. We had 2 kids under 5 playing at the pool, teenagers at the kayaks, and rented a boat nearby. The house was charming and accommodated all of us. We were pleasantly surprised and recommend for future bookings.

Multi-Generational Family Stay

We had a great time staying on Lake Hamlin with ages ranging from 12 to 75. We appreciated the 4 full bathrooms and space. The pool and hot tub were a highlight, as the lake seemed a bit inaccessible without a dock. Nice being so close to town and Lake Michigan!

Family Trip

There were 10 adults and 1 infant on this trip. The house accommodated everyone comfortably with plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and areas for everyone to spend time together. The view is amazing! The pool was heated and we were able to enjoy even when the weather was a little cooler. The hot tub was a bonus! Location is perfect for visiting Ludington, but also enjoying some quiet time. Would definitely stay again.

great location, perfect space, lots of fun

We loved staring at this cozy cottage with tons of space. We enjoyed the double master rooms with en suite bathrooms, plus lots of extra bedrooms and bathrooms for the kids. The kitchen had everything we needed, and doing coffee in the living room to sunrise was a favorite. But the real attraction was the pool and hot tub which we used day and night. Easy to go explore nearby towns during the day, then swim into the night. A perfect retreat for the long weekend with family!

We had a great time.Check in was a breeze Had no problems with the Wi-Fi. House was nice and cozy. We had several fires in the fire pit and had s’mores. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms suited us perfectly. The kids LOVED the pool. We were out there every day. The only suggestion i have is that the pool furniture should be updated. Ice fishing getaway

Wonderful accommodations

We absolutely loved staying in this home! It was very clean and cozy and had just the right amount of space, full bathrooms, and sleeping accommodations for our large group!. The pool and hot tub was an added bonus and our kids enjoyed swimming everyday! The location is perfect and there is plenty of parking for cars and boat trailers. We look forward to staying in this home again next year!

Great Stay!

We had an awesome time at this gem on Hamlin Lake. The pool, the location, the fishing, and the owners responsiveness to any questions or needs were all great. The neighbors on one side apparently do not appreciate people driving down their portion of the road, but other than that, everything was excellent! We would definitely come back!

We loved our week at Hamlin Lake! The swimming pool sold us when we booked 12 months ago. And we used it every day. Loved having kayaks. Hot tub was a bonus. Enjoyed meals on both lakefront deck and street side patio. Perfect for our family of 11. We definitely would return!

Excellent Getaway!

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house and property! The pool was everything we wanted and more, the hot tub was an excellent place to soak and enjoy the view of the lake. The house was beautifully decorated and very clean, beds were comfortable too! The house was nice and centerally located, we were able to get out and enjoy a couple rounds of disc golf, went to the beach, and enjoyed Stix! The host was incredibly understanding and easy to communicate with, she made the whole process easy. All in all, it was a wonderful time and we are so thankful we had a beautiful place to enjoy our vacation!

Plenty of space and a great view

We stayed a week at this property and enjoyed it! Brooke was incredibly kind and responsive. About a 15 min drive into downtown Ludington. Our week was unseasonably cold (in the 50s) and cloudy so we didn’t take full advantage of the pool/lake, but saw many out on Hamlin lake braving the chilly weather for successful fishing. House was clean and very well stocked. Beautiful hikes nearby at Ludington State Park and Manistee National Forest.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time on our vacation at the end of June. There was enough room for our family of 13 (7 children ages 3-12). Even though the weather was very hot, the heated pool, hot tub and a/c inside were refreshing.Brooke was wonderful and very friendly. Do not hesitate to contact her if there is a problem. She answers all your calls and concerns quickly with her maintenance staff. Within an hour of our arrival the neighborhood lost power. A quick phone call and someone was there to hook up the generator which was a relief. Thanks so much Brooke for assisting us on all our requests.
