There was one significant problem that affected our stay and that was the waste water leaking into the kitchen. The kitchen floor was flooded when we used the dishwasher and washer. The water leaked beneath the kitchen floor panels and seeped through the seams. It took 4 pool towels to mop it up. It first happened when we used the dishwasher so we stopped using it. It also happened when we used the washer so we could not use it either. There also appeared to be some leaking from the shower but it was not as significant. We are home owners and builders and immediately cleaned up the leak to prevent further damage. I notified the property mangers and kept getting more towels to soak up the leaking water. I suspect that the subfloor is still wet since there is strong "mildew odor" when the unit is closed up. Additionally, there is also a significant problem with noise from the upstairs unit being heard in the downstairs unit. We were continually annoyed by the heavy foot falls from adults and especially from a running child. You could also hear all the chair movements when the up-stair occupants were using their dining table.The unit has a great location and view, but the leaking water definitely affected our stay. I am also concerned that the backup from the drain lines could be contaminated with human waste and pose a health risk.
