2 BR 2 Bath Condo, 1st Floor, Heated Pool, Easy stroll to beach

Alerio is one of Destin and Miramar Beach's newest luxury condominium complexes on Scenic Gulf Drive right across the street from the beach. The complex features many guest amenities including:

Alerio E101 is an end unit and conveniently located on the first floor for easy access. This 2 Bedroom/2 Bath unit features luxury furnishings throughout including leather sofa with recliners on each end, hard wood floors, granite countertops, flat screen TV's in every room and washer/dryer. The condo sleeps 6 (4 Adults and 2 Children for example) comfortably and is the perfect beach getaway for couples or a small family. The master bedroom features a comfortable King size bed, plentiful drawer and closet space and an adjoining bathroom with large walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes Queen size bed and private bath. Start your days on the outside patio enjoying your morning coffee. The fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances gives you all the conveniences of home allowing you to save time and money preparing your own meals. If you prefer to take advantage of the many local beachside restaurants, there are many nearby options on Scenic Gulf Dr. to choose from including Surf Hut (walking distance), Pompano Joe's, Captain Dave's on the Gulf, Whale's Tail and more.

Alerio is conveniently located within 1 mile of the Silver Sands Premium Outlets and just a short drive to Destin Commons for all your vacation shopping needs. There are many nearby entertainment options for nightlife, family attractions including Big Kahunas Water Park and The Track Family Recreation Center, bike rentals, water sports (parasailing, jet skis, stand up paddle boards, etc.), scooter and golf cart rentals and much more. Everything you can imagine for the perfect family beach vacation is right here!

The host were very accommodating. The rental was very nice and had anything you needed. We were there for a wedding and the beaches were beautiful. It is also very close to anything you could want to do. Very nice area. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a nice rental for your vacation.

Condo was not cleaned after prior guests. It was disgusting! Dirty towels, dirty linens, unflushed toilets. Photos attached. I messaged host several days leading up to our date of stay with questions about parking, etc. They did not reply. I called host when we saw the condo was not clean it went to voicemail, I left a message and I did not receive a call back. There is no one at the condo complex that is in charge of the rentals so we were scrambling trying to find another place to stay. After finally reaching an agent with VRBO they tried calling owner and also received no response. Now, I am jumping through hoops by VRBO to try and get a refund. I have used VRBO many times before and have always been satisfied. Any issues I have ran across the host or the management personnel have always been available. We truly were without a place to stay! We did find a place but with the short notice and available properties we incurred twice the cost. I would advise you to message your host several times before your planned stay and make sure they have someone you can call in the city you are staying to address any issues arising.

Location was perfect. Short walk to the beautiful beach. The apartment was nice and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the beach chairs were old, rusted and hard use which was not an issue for us. Enjoyed our stay.

The condo was clean and the location was perfect. However, the king size mattress needs to be replaced immediately as well as the mattress on the sleeper sofa. The internet continued to go in and out all weekend and required a reboot multiple times. I contacted the owner but the issue is out of their control. The neighbors upstairs were extremely noisy and was very disturbing the entire stay. That was out of the owners control as well. The condo and location was perfect but i probably wouldn't stay again until they replace the sunken mattress.

Cute apartment

The apartment had its pros and cons. The mattresses were comfortable, though they felt a bit dated, with noticeable sinking in the areas where people typically sleep. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, to the point where my son chose to sleep on the couch instead. A dining table would have been a nice addition, but it wasn’t a major issue. On the positive side, the apartment was very clean and well-equipped, with a kitchen that had everything we needed. The location was great, being close to the beach and in a quiet area. Overall, it was a decent stay, but with some room for improvement.

Wedding trip

My overall impression it was dirty and not as pleasant as I thought it would be. Pictures of the pool was nothing like I thought. We didn’t even use it. The smell in the condo was like leftover food and the closet door handle came off the first time we used it! (Sent pictures to the host). If I had the choice to come back I won’t.
