Lower Matecumbe waterfront home, pet friendly for 1 dog. New concrete saltwater pool (heated/cooled) in 2022. New 20,000 Lb boat lift in 2022. New paint inside and out 2022. New furnishings in 2022. White Marlin Beach access and quick boat ride to Channel 2 or 5 bridge or to Robbies Marina. Plenty of parking. Outdoor shower and BBQ. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms (1 with a king and 1 with 2 queens), a hallway full bathroom, living room, kitchen combo with stove, dishwasher, and fridge, W/D. Downstairs has a mother-in-law suite with 1 queen bed and a queen sofa pullout with own kitchen, stove, and fridge. Full bathroom in the suite. Ramp at Sea Bird Marina for a fee.

Payment with credit card thru the VRBO website only. Any other request is a SCAMMER.

An Islamorada gem

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. The owners are great people and go out of their way to make sure that you have what you need, including help with where to dine and other activities. We brought our boat and kept it on their dock. We could get out to the Gulf side or the ocean within minutes. The pool is awesome and so refreshing in the heat of the day because it has a chiller! All of the furniture is very comfortable especially the beds. The neighborhood is charming and there is little to no traffic. The yard has the best island feel with banana trees, palm trees, and many other beautiful plants. If you are going to be in this area and the property is available, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Truly was so peaceful and fun for the whole family.

Great House, neighbors and Hosts!!

We had a great stay at Carla and Keith’s home. We were privileged to be their first renters in this home. The pool was such a nice treat to come back to after a day on the water. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals every day. The owners are available anytime by phone and give recommendations of great businesses in the area. The neighbors are great. The entire neighborhood has great people and often stopped to talk with us. There is plenty of parking which was nice for us because we commute home during the month and many times have several vehicles. We were able to use the boat lift which was nice when we left for a few days. They are in a great location and takes just a few minutes to get to the ocean. Carla and Keith want you to have a nice relaxing time and create memories that last a lifetime. Thank you for opening up your home to us and being the type of hosts everyone should strive to be.

Amazing house and amenities with great hosts!

We stayed here in the “Honu Hale” house in August 2024 during the Florida Lobster Season. The property is ideally laid out & set up for boaters, divers & fisherman. There’s plenty of dockage and a top-quality boat lift right on the canal in the back yard. Plenty of hose connections & fillet table to clean your catch. The home was cozy and recently renovated by the current host. My mom & dad stayed in the first-floor in-law quarters which they really liked. It has everything including a full kitchen, full bath with easy walk-in shower, CATV and a mini freezer to store ice, bait or your catch in. They liked privacy when the young folks were upstairs. The upstairs was very accommodating with two bedrooms sharing one bathroom. Full kitchen with ample appliances and kitchen needs. Full WIFI and CATV. There is also a washer & dryer upstairs for your laundry. Huge patio upstairs to hang up and have cocktails with guests. Oh…and the backyard faces east, so in the afternoon you have the sun behind you with more comfort at the end of the day. The pool here was splendid! It’s crystal clear with fountain and very refreshing after a hot day out in the sun. Plenty of chairs & floats the host provides to make your stay pleasant. Another great feature of this house design is the shaded parking areas under the house. You can squeeze in 4 vehicles and be out of the sun. And still have plenty of room for a large boat trailer on the side up to 28 feet. This location is in a nice community called
