Amazing month
We had an amazing month at this house in Islamorada! The house is beautiful and laid out really well. It has a full apartment downstairs with a queen sized daybed and also a pull out couch. There is a kitchenette and a full bathroom in it as well. Upstairs has three bathrooms and two baths.The outdoors area downstairs is the best part though. It has a beautiful pool that is sunny in the morning and mostly shaded in the afternoon, although there is a section that stays sunny all day for those slightly less hot afternoons. there is a seating area with a couch and two chairs, and then an outdoor kitchen with a grill, a sink, and a refrigerator. They also have a bait freezer and a really nice ice machine. The owners also let us use the boat lift, which was great and we were able to keep the boat really clean.The location was great, close to a grocery store and other amenities. For boaters, you are right in-between Tavernier Creek and Snake Creek, and just a couple more minutes to Whale Harbor, so it is very easy to access the Atlantic side, the sand bar, etc... Amazingly the winds were blowing for the entire month of June, so we spent more time on the gulf side this trip catching mangrove snapper, tubing, and at the sand bar. We left yesterday and I already want to go back! The owners were very attentive to the small things that went wrong during the trip. I highly recommend this house for family trips!
