Sunset Beach House

This three-bedroom/two-bath beachfront cottage is tucked away, just off the main drag of this quiet island. Escape your busy life on the mainland and enjoy outdoor living space with amazing 180-degree views of the Gulf of Mexico.


Enjoy your private beachfront path and spacious porch that is perfect for dining or relaxing. Most of the porch is covered, but there is the perfect amount of uncovered space to sunbathe. The covered area has electronic screens that are ideal for keeping the mosquitos away during the summer.

Sunset Beach House is located on Little Gasparilla Island, which is a bridge-less barrier island. You will need to make an appointment with the water taxi, rent a boat, or bring your own boat. Bringing your own boat? The house has access to a community dock that is perfect for fishing or watching the beautiful sunrise over the Boca Grande Causeway. The dock has a 22ft. maximum and only allows 1 boat per household. Boat pass is required - no assigned slips, first come first serve.

For the water taxi, you’ll park your car at Eldred’s Marina and load your luggage on the water taxi there. The water taxi is $30 for up to 2 people, one way. Each additional person is $15, one way. The water taxi is by appointment only and its hours are 8:30-5:00. You can book appointments outside the normal hours of operation, but the cost is higher and varies based on the time.


The dock is about a ¼ mile walk or golf cart ride to the house.

Kayaks are not included with this rental.

There are not any grocery stores or restaurants on the island, but there is a grocery delivery service.

Golf cart is not included with rental – but there are 2 golf cart rental companies available on the island.


A rental agreement will be sent after booking and must be reviewed and signed by the primary guest to complete the reservation.


Pet policy: $100 per dog with advance notice and approval. No cats. Specific breeds may not be allowed. We reserve the right to not allow untrained and aggressive dogs. This is a dog friendly island; therefore, you may encounter other dogs. If your dog is aggressive towards other dogs or people, we do not allow them.
