Feels Like Home

We LOVE staying at this place; it is clean, comfortable, and close to all the places we love to visit when up that way. And my grandsons just LOVE playing with the crawdads in the creek. Everything is just so relaxing; we will be back soon!

Best Mountain Getaway!

We stayed at this cozy, clean, super comfortable cottage for 4 days with our family of 3 and a pup. It was the most relaxing stay we’ve had in the mountains so far! The host, Lorie, made sure we had everything we needed. She answered every question in a kind and timely manner. Had the place heated and lights turned on and fireplace glowing for our arrival our first night. The grounds are beautiful. Our pup was happy to roam freely! You’re not far from Clayton or Clarksville for some great eats! We ate ate Rabun Social and Hush Cuban Kitchen in Clayton and they were both delicious. Kaboblicious in Clarksville was our favorite. Walmart and Ingles are great for shopping. Ingles is my favorite for food shopping and they have a Starbucks inside! We spent lots of time trout fishing in nearby state forests! We have nothing but rave reviews for our cottage stay and the area! We leave having made happy memories! Thank you Lorie.

A Cozy Retreat with a Family-Friendly Touch

This property was a truly exceptional experience, thanks in large part to the owner’s meticulous attention to detail and commitment to providing top-notch amenities. The kitchen was well-equipped with modern appliances, including a Keurig coffee maker, an espresso machine, and essentials like aluminum foil and plastic wrap. A beautiful arrangement of fresh flowers greeted us on the kitchen table, adding a charming and welcoming touch that made us feel right at home. The living room, featuring a smart TV with streaming services and a cozy fireplace, provided a warm, inviting space to relax. Two bedrooms with Egyptian cotton sheets ensured a comfortable stay. The bathroom was stocked with plush towels and essentials. We enjoyed the fire pit, garden, and outdoor furniture. The gas grill was perfect for family dinners. A washing machine on-site was very handy. The owner was incredibly helpful, answering all our questions and accommodating our reservation changes with ease. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort and satisfaction truly enhanced our experience. This property exceeded our expectations with its amenities and scenic location. Pet-friendly and perfect for families, it’s a fantastic choice for a relaxing vacation. Highly recommended!

Amazing Place To Stay & Relax

This home was so comfortable, and so cute! Owner made the whole stay so amazing. The decor is beautiful, the linens are amazing...the property is just amazing! The view from the porch was so serene. Can't say enough to how wonderful it was to stay here; we WILL be back!

Great place for R&R

Loved the house, scenery and everything in between. Quaint and cozy! My son had a blast playing in the creek while I could just relax on the porch. And when he was done with that, there were plenty of family games availabe to keep us busy while enjoying time together. Would recommend and hopefully be back!

Peaceful Getaway

This home is exactly as promised. Super clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Located in a beautiful part of Georgia. Communication was excellent with the owner. Kitchen and bathroom were both very clean and we had everything we needed. We couldn't think of one complaint.

Great relaxing getaway with all the necessary amenities.

The property owner is very responsive to questions and needs. The place is well maintained, which includes the thoughtful little touches that make you feel welcome. Fire pit ready to go with plenty of wood to enjoy an evening around it. Loved the fresh flower arrangement on the kitchen table. We wished that our stay could've been longer.

Great weekend getaway!

Great cottage in a beautiful setting! It is close enough to Clayton and Helen and all of the other great places in the area without being in the crowd! I hope to stay here again!

A great house to stay at. Just big enough for 2 couples. Very nice and nicely decorated. Everything was clean and the extra little touches here and there made for a great stay! We will definitely stay again.

Lovey Dovey is in a beautiful location. Ten minutes to Timpson Cove Beach for swimming on Lake Burton. And 5 Minutes to Stonewall Creek Vineyards. 25 minutes to Helen. 15 Minutes to Clayton with the fabulous restaurants and shopping! Forty-five minutes to Hiawassee, Ga, and 45 minutes to Highlands. Hundreds of hiking trails, waterfalls, and trout fishing are nearby. Be sure to raft on the Chattooga! So much to do here!
