Amazing!!! Highly recommend! So beautiful and everything is well thought out and top of the line! We travel to the mountains from Florida every 3 to 4 months and always VRBO. This by far has been our favorite. Compliments to the host!

The cabin was as beautiful as pictured. It was very comfortable inside as well as outside. We loved the screen porch and the deck with fire pit. The cabin was easy to reach. The host was helpful. The nearby town of Clayton had some very nice shops and very good restaurants. Great and varied hiking nearby.

This is such a gem of a place! We stay here every time we come to stay in Clayton. It has such a cozy feel and it is 3 miles from town. You would never know it though, you feel like you are deep in the woods. We will be back again and again!

The kitchen is well prepped, the furniture and beds are comfortable, screen porch looks at trees and a mountain. Not far from Clayton Georgia. This is my second time.

Wonderful Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at Possum Trot Cabin. It was quiet and relaxed which is exactly what we were hoping for. The house had everything we needed and then some as far as amenities, cookware, utensils, towels, blankets and anything else you could want. The location is perfect for staying away from town or going to it.

January Stay

Cabin was cute, clean and as described. Wood stove is a little tricky but does work according to the instructions provided. We had an issue with water pressure in the bathroom but Christina was very responsive and got us access to the cabin on site for use of that shower. Would stay here again.

Long weekend at Possum Trot

Absolutely loved the cabin! The most well appointed VRBO listing I’ve ever stayed in! The screened in porch was the best! We were talking about a return trip as we were pulling out of the driveway!

Lovely cottage

We enjoyed our stay at the possum trot. The cottage is conveniently located close to town. Many amenities and some provisions provided. Exactly as described on the listing. We‘ll def stay again if we go back to Clayton.

Nice cabin with great location

Very clean and comfortable. Tastefully decorated. Outdoor very pretty and in the woods. Really enjoyed the screened in porch with rockers. Had everything we needed. Internet was spotty at times. 5 minutes from downtown Clayton. Steps to bedrooms upstairs are steep. No hot tub which would make a nice addition.

Great Retreat, Beautiful Location, Lovely Cabin

My husband and our two adult daughters went to Possum Trot Cabin. Christine was fantastic, gave us great information about the area, the cabin was decorated perfectly, LOVED the porch and the town of Clayton was charming. The cabin is tucked away in the woods, lots of greenery and super relaxing.

Fabulous, relaxing stay

Christina's "cabin in the woods" is worthy of all the 5 star reviews! Our family was impressed with the attention to details, the decor, the comfort, and the abundance of amenities. The beds and linens were extraordinary; it was difficult to rise to start the mornings. The cabin and surrounding area is so peaceful, along with the charm of Clayton, that we cannot wait to return to this property!

Perfect stay, perfect cabin

We have been going to this general area every year for 25 plus years and this was one of the nicest cabins we have ever rented. It was so clean! Everything was top notch, all the attention to detail! The hostess was very receptive. The property was extremely well maintained!!!! The only thing I would point out is that the main cabin is 1.5 bathrooms not 2+. Was not a problem for us but did want to point that out. I would give this cabin a 10/10! Easy to get to, close to everything yet still in the woods. We would love to go back! Absolutely peaceful and charming. Can’t say enough!

Gorgeous Get Away

Everything was exactly as presented. The house is cozy & comfortable & close to town & hiking. It had everything we needed & more! Beds & sofas are super comfortable. We loved it & loved bringing our two dogs with us. We will definitely return. Note, we did follow our gps & start off stuck in a bad situation without 4 wheel drive. So, if your gps says stay left-stay on the gravel road in the middle. Possum Trot is lovely. We brought firewood & had daily fires in the wood burning stove.

Perfect Getaway, wish we stayed longer!

Love-Love- Love- We absolutely loved this cabin. It was very clean, tastefully decorated and well appointed. It was the perfect getaway for me and my husband. We thoroughly enjoyed coffee on the porch and wine by the fire pit ever day. So much to do nearby, hiking, restaurants, waterfalls.. truly a nature lovers paradise. We will definitely return to this unique spot.

Weekend Restore

We had a wonderful 2-day stay at this cabin and we will have this cabin at the top of our list for future weekend trips. For the activities we had planned, it was perfectly located. As for the cabin itself, it truly felt like a second home. There was so much attention to detail, I almost thought I had outfitted the cabin myself. It was all spotless and so much consideration had been put into meeting nearly everyone’s wants and needs. Thank you for providing such a lovely cabin.

Birthday in the mountains

My daughter was turning 16, and she wanted to spend it in the mountains. She, her friend, my wife, and I were able to eat around the campfire in the fire pit, visit the summit of Black Rock Mountain, trek around Black Rock Lake, visit local shops, and come back for a home cooked meal with all the utensils we would need before watching some YouTube or Netflix to close out the day. The landscape is gorgeous, the quiet palpable, and the privacy is top tier. 10/10 would do again.
