Relax with the whole family at this peaceful bearadise just few yards from the beautiful Lake Harmony! Sleeps up to 12 with fully equipped kitchen and TVs to stream your favorites. Listen to the beach band from the large screened in porch with outdoor dining and gas grill on deck. Large outdoor built-in firepit is a favorite for smores and conversation. Enjoy watersports and lakeside dining. Game room wins for rainy day. Indoor waterpark and bowling are a few blocks away. Come enjoy!

Home can easily accomodate 10 guests in bedrooms and 2 more guests in daybeds. Kid friendly with high chair, bath tub and game room. Open living space for dinners and conversation.

Bedroom 1 - Queen bedroom with office space and full bathroom access on ground entry level, will accommodate most guests with limited mobility.
Other 3 Bedrooms are on upper level
Bedroom 2 - 1 King bed
Bedroom 3 - 2 Twin beds
Bedroom 4 - Twin over Full bunk bed and a Twin trundle.

Needs some TLC

We stay in the area very year for thanksgiving. Overall the stay at this property was just ok. The steep driveway leading to the house needs more stone or needs to be paved. It was very bumpy with areas or rock that created tripping hazards. Also because of the lack of stone on the driveway area, there is a huge puddle in the area of the main entrance. Also their was leaves piled around the entrance. If there was a broom available I would have gladly cleaned the area up, as they blew in the house very time the door was opened. The red deck was also full of leaves. I would think that the property owner would at least have it cleaned when a Tennent first gets there, I know that leaves are an issue this time of year. But at least make an attempt to clean it up for new tenants. Some other issues -the shades in some of the bedrooms were very old and inoperable -ther is literally 4 coffee mugs and very little kitchen cooking equipment, no frying pans eat. -Bring your own trash bags and paper products, as they only leave you 2 trash bags and 1 roll of paper towels. If you do plan on cooking bring everything that you think you'll need. Tv remote controls, we had to buy batteries for the tv remote downstairs, this is after contacting the owner about the batteries being dead, never found the remote control for the tv in the game room. Told owner immediately about it. no solution offered. Led light bulbs flicker a lot and lights intermittently go off and on in upstairs bedrooms.

Great house but a little less than expected

We brought my twin 13 year old daughters and their 5 friends to the house for the weekend for a birthday sleepover in the Poconos. The house has so many rooms. It was great for the girls. The kitchen is big which was perfect for them baking their own birthday cakes. The screened in porch was my favorite spot! From the reviews I didn’t expect a couple of the downsides we encountered. When we pulled up the front door was not locked and wide open except for the screen door . When we walked in, the house had a strange smell. I thought it was just musty so we bought febreeze and kept the windows open but it kept coming back all weekend. I think it was in the carpet. The remote for the fireplace didn’t have working batteries and the back ups we found didn’t work either. There was no firewood provided even though other reviews said there was and there was no way to light a fire. The front door only locked intermittently. I did tell the owner that it wouldn’t lock when we were leaving (there was a low battery light) but he told me they were just changed. We were only there for a short time with activities planned back to back so it was hard for us to run for supplies or troubleshoot everything with owner but I did tell him about some issues. I debated writing this because the house was a great space…but as someone who reads all the reviews I thought that I should let others know our experience. We would definitely want to stay here again if these issues were taken care of.

Great mini vacation.

Enjoyed the stay and the house/property. Very clean and perfect for us. Location was excellent. Close to local restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay there again. No negatives to report at all. Highly recommend it.

Weekend getaway

Great weekend trip for 3 families to spend New Years at this beautiful home. Property was very clean and plenty large enough for 3 families to stay comfortably. The owner was very responsive. Would definitely recommend and we will be looking into visiting again!

What a house! A beautiful well maintained home in a great location with plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 kids. It included all sheets and towels and everything we needed in the kitchen plus comfortable beds. Would definitely rent again in the warmer months so we could utilize the screened in patio and outdoor fire pit.

Great House

Highly recommend this property for your stay up in Lake Harmony. Plenty of space, very clean, and the screened-in porch and fire pit were great for being outdoors without having to worry about getting bit by bugs. Seemless check-in / check-out process and the hose was very responsive to any questions we had before our stay.

Family getaway

The home was clean and well appointed. The owners were friendly and extremely responsive through the entire process. I originally had a booking error with VRBO. Luckily the hosts were able to correct and walk me through. The neighborhood was quiet and the screened back porch was our favorite room in the house. I would certainly recommend this place to friends and family.

Clean and close to Lake Harmony attractions!

The house was clean and well-kept. We would definitely rent this property again. Huge screened in deck that we did not get to use because it was below 30 degrees while we were there but it look to also be in great shape... IT snowed while we staying there. It was nice for the kids to have snow and we also went to the H2O waterpark at Split Rock while we were there. Some advice for those who stay in winter: Bring your own shovel: There is no snow removal equipment on property (not even a shovel) and we were told a plow would come by, but that didn't happen.

One of the best in Poconos

Three adults and 7 teens slept, ate, played, socialized and relaxed in comfort at this newly remodeled and very clean house. We stayed 2 nights and had everything we needed including plenty of space for 10 grown people. Highly recommend a winter visit for skiing or summer for lake and firepit. Host was responsive and helpful.

No heat at this otherwise nice house

We were caught off guard when we arrived at the house at 7pm to 38 degree temperature inside. A quick glance at the oil tank meter showed that there was no oil to heat the house. We were not able to spend the night. I had a bit of trouble reaching the owners by VRBO message or phone, and once I did they were not able to solve the problem so that we could stay. We had to scramble for hotel rooms. I did appreciate that the owners promptly issued a refund. VRBO itself was absolutely no help. This is otherwise a very nice house, and we wish we could have stayed. I understand mistakes happen, but in the future the oil tank and heat should be checked before guests arrive.

Great location, wonderful house

We had two families both with teenage kids stay for two nights at this vrbo. We were visiting the area for a ski weekend. The place is truly about 5 minutes from both Jack Frost AND Big Boulder. A quick and easy drive and we rotated between mountains since it was so convenient to get there. Parking at both resorts was easy and although we visited over a weekend, we were pleasantly surprised that neither resort was overly crowded with less than a 5 minute wait time for all lifts. We had a mix of beginner and intermediate (no advanced) skiers and everyone liked the options at the resorts. The house was really well laid out and comfortable. Two thumbs up on comfort of all the beds. The kitchen had plenty of room to cook and utensils, pots, pans and bakeware. You might want to bring a mug or two if everyone in family drinks coffee. The gas fireplace was a great feature especially after a day of skiing. We weren’t able to use the game room bc it’s in the garage and it was just too cold. And the deck is gorgeous but again not for middle of winter. But in fall, summer and spring the game room would be loads of fun and the deck a definite bonus. Manny was extremely responsive to any questions and fair with his rules. We really enjoyed our stay and loved the accommodations and proximity to skiing. Thanks Manny and Chi
