A great rustic cabin with Great views of the lake. Beautiful large trees around the property. Very Peaceful and relaxing. Just an all Around relaxing time.

Beautiful cabin, well stocked, lake is clean and clear. Host responded very quickly. Not far to stone lake, Spooner or Hayward. Will definitely return for another stay.

Family Vacation

Wonderful place, in a great location. Jim was very responsive and helpful when needed. The only thing I would note is there is a highway b/w the lakefront area and the house, which was a little nerve racking for us with the kids. Otherwise, place was great!

The cabin was great! It had everything we needed. It could have used some better dusting of the webs thru-out. the road is very noisey for sitting outside. but it may not bother some people. Nice sandy in shallow water. Three of us had a great stay!

Cozy and comfortable

We were in town for a family reunion and the Sand Lake Summit was a fine place to retreat when the day was done. Clean, cozy, and comfortable. Fully-equipped kitchen, and two updated bathrooms were especially nice.

Communication with Jim was great. Check in process was smooth. Was greeted with trash left outside front door at check in that had been torn open by animals and had to clean it up. Texted Jim and he apologized and said to place it in garage and he would take care of it. It was still in the garage at checkout along with an overflowing recycle cab. There was a trash can full at the end of the driveway the entire time we were there. Main bedroom has a sleep number bed but there were no instructions on how to use it. Fortunately, through some trial and error, we figured it out. There is also a dresser in the main bedroom that we assumed we could use only to open and find it full of we assumed the owners personal clothing. Again, something that should be explained.

Up for a wedding

This was our first time renting a Vrbo the manager answered every question and there was a lot! The house was perfect the area was easy to find and just a few miles from our sons wedding. We would recommend this location and we do plan on coming back ourselves!

Beautiful, clean home with a cozy cabin feel. House was very clean, kitchen has all pots/pans/utensils you could need. Water front is very shallow and great for lounging in chairs in the water while the kids swim and play. Dock was good for our pontoon and the fishing around Sand Lake was even better! Our boys caught 15 fish almost everyday! Mainly bass, a few pike, and the best grand finale on our last day: a Muskie!! It was a relaxing and comfortable week.

Not the cleanest place, both inside and out. If we let our 10 month crawl on the floor she would have black feet/legs. It would’ve been nice to sit out on the deck for meals but all the furniture was dirty. The garbage was completely full with bags all around it in the garage when we got there. It’s a beautiful place, with some rooms that have been newly remodeled but it would have been nice to see more information within the description and pictures showing the busy highway that separates the cabin from the lake.

The house was awesome and the view of the lake was beautiful from the house. Every question we had, we had a quick response back. We would definitely stay again if we come back to Hayward. The lake is very shallow by the dock but the kids still had fun swimming.

Very comfortable cabin for family of 6! Well stocked with everything you need for your stay. Disappointed with amount of traffic on the road between cabin and lake/dock since we had some smaller children with us. But sitting on the deck amongst the trees was relaxing. And air conditioning was great since it was super hot when we were there.

What a gorgeous Northwoods cabin! The road between the cabin and the dock is a little busy. Literally my only complaint. The upstairs shower probably isn't suitable for a larger adult. Our family absolutely loved it. Most memorable fourth of July weekend in our 15 year marriage.

Great Weekend Getaway

This cabin was perfect for my family for the weekend get away. We had our 10 week old baby and the owners left out a bottle brush for us. They were very thoughtful hosts. I’d definitely recommend!
