Go for a bike ride, hike or play some bocce in the yard. Have a campfire with family and friends. A great place to star gaze. Peaceful place for some relaxation.

Lodging for the 4th

We stayed at the farmhouse while visit family over the 4th. The proximity to Walker is great. The kitchen is very well stocked and the beds are comfortable. The property is nice and quiet.

We loved our stay, listing is accurate, clean home and the host was accommodating when we arrived to town early and wanted to drop off our boat to go run some errands. He was also accommodating when we needed to adjust our arrival and departure days. We would definitely stay again and appreciate you sharing your home with us!

Perfect location for our cycling trip. Trail at end of driveway. House was very clean, comfortable and inviting. Kitchen had everything needed if cooking at home. Yard was spacious and very quiet with nice fire pit area. Host responded quickly to my comments.

Perfect place to stay for bike riders since it’s right on the Paul Bunyan rails to trails. Very comfortable beautifully decorated and very close to places to eat. Couldn’t have been better. Host is great.

A perfect getaway!

We stayed at Jon's for 3 nights for our annual girls' weekend trip. The house is beautifully decorated, and stocked very well. The beds were comfortable, the towels big and fluffy, and the house is in a very quiet location, but still close enough to Walker. Check-in was simple, and Jon was very nice. We would definitely stay here again! It was a great experience.

Wonderful Stay

5 Stars - We stayed for our annual fishing trip. Both of us adored this place. It was just what we were looking for. The property owner was fabulous to work with and he reponed immediately to any of our requests. I would recommend this to everyone we know. We recommend this property heartily. Comfy beds, clean, everything works well, firepit and firewood stocked, and very quiet. The host communication was great. Single car garage to store our bikes. More than we expected.

Perfect Blend of Rustic Charm & Modern Convenience!

This is a true gem in the Northwoods! Cozy place!

Clean and comfortable. Kitchen had all the things we needed, and then some. Brought our own coffee maker, as the one listed was a Keurig (and we don't use k-cups) but the kitchen even had some k-cups for us to use. Used the cornhole game and would have had a campfire if we'd had more time. Convenient location to Walker. Thank you!

Fantastic Stay in Walker!

The farmhouse is adorable. Well kept, very clean, and a wonderful place to rest. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and if you have children there is plenty of room to play outside (bring their scooters/bikes because it is a long paved driveway). The Paul Bunyan trail is directly outside of the property for biking, running, and snowmobiling. Jon (the owner) has excellent communication and is easily accessible if needed. He contacted us as we were there for a very toasty week. Jon made sure the upstairs was comfortable and the temp in the house good during the unusually hot week. We highly recommend staying at the Farmhouse!
