Walker Central was a wonderful place for our family getaway. It is close to everything; the downtown for shopping and restaurants, the beach, walking paths, a park. We had a great time. Betty was a great host and got back to me quickly when I had questions. I hope to stay again when in the area!

Was a great stay although it was a very hot week and the room air conditioner did very little for the bedroom. The TV was excellent although difficult to use and find the station we wanted with no guide of instructions available.

Great location near downtown and lake

We had a family trip to the Walker area for a graduation and this house was the perfect fit for our long weekend. Clean property with nice amenities in a quiet neighborhood. Will stay here again when in the area.

Character Abound

This home was in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. The neighbor across the street even helped us retrieve our golden retriever when she easily got out of the retractable fence. The home had a unique character that I loved, and the owners were very kind and friendly. I especially liked that it was located so near the lake, park, church and businesses in Walker. We had a very enjoyable stay!

Great location and neighborhood

Property is within walking distance of the park and downtown. Quiet neighborhood, no traffic. Very welcoming. You couldn't ask for a nicer home away from home.

We had a very relaxing week and were able to get in touch with old friends again. Other than the road work in progress we had a very nice week. The house was lovely and had anything you could possibly need! We were well satisfied.

House location was great! City park one block away and house was just off main street. House was nice. Only issue was listing said fenced in yard and it was not completely fenced in. Besides that great stay.

Close to activities

We stayed here for a family reunion in Walker. Close to the park and beach and just a couple of blocks from downtown. Property was comfortable and well equipped for our stay.

Although we are new to the VRBO world, Kevin and I have a long term background in lodging management so you are in good hands! We have managed and maintained properties in Minnesota and North Dakota but our absolute favorite place to be is Walker Minnesota. We are semi retired and enjoy tinkering around the house and getting out to our favorite fishing hole whenever we can. It's going to be an exciting first year in VRBO for us and we are SO excited that you are going to be a part of it!

We chose this property because of it's great location. If you want to spend the day on foot all the best up north stores are at your finger (or toe) tips. Mixed in with the great shopping are some wonderful restaurants and Walker’s own locally owned brewery. Just a block to the west you’ll find the charming Walker City Park and boat launch. Stop in for a quick dip at the city beach or just kick off your sandles and walk on the beach. Don’t forget to check out the lighthouse at the end of the pier!
Bring your bikes along because the Heartland Bike Trail is just steps from the back yard. You can ride for miles and miles in either direction on these amazing trails.
Walker boasts 2 of the most pristine golf courses in the north country. Longbow and Tianna Country Club are just a few miles from town and you’ll be blown away by their beauty.
Northern Lights Casino and Event Center is 4 miles from town and there are many events in the area as well. Walker Bay Live is a must do event and happens every Thursday night at a different spot every week. Food and live music draw people together to celebrate warm summer nights. Don’t miss the Farmers Market every Thursday as well.

The unique benefit of this property is that if you are with a group that doesn't necessarily want to all do the same thing there are things that can easily be done without a car so that others could use the car for further away excursions. The location is perfect!
