Very nice clean cabin in the woods-saw deer, wild turkeys and an owl. It was a quiet area and felt secluded although Nieghbor’s aren’t very far away. If you are a tall person, 6’ or taller watch out for the front door it’s not standard height, I hit my head a few times. Everything that you need for a stay is there- pans, dishes, silverware. Towels, etc. public boat launch isn’t too far away. I always backed the boat into the driveway as there isn’t much room to turn around. Some coat hooks are probably needed or something to hang clothes on- we made due with the ladders to the lofts as it was just 2 of us. All in all we enjoyed our stay and was quite comfortable and loved this tiny cabin!

Wonderful private get away!!!

We truly enjoyed ourselves in this very private tiny home. It was a snap to get to and from Walker for groceries and cute gift shops. We loved that we could keep our boat and trailer right on the property. We reached out to Lana with a question or two and she was very prompt and very helpful. We really loved our stay and will be booking annually. Tiny house was comfy and had everything we needed!! Bonus: price was very reasonable :)

What a cozy, great place to stay. This was super close to where our family was staying. Wonderful to sit on little porch under overhang and enjoy the falling rain. Everything was there that was needed. Even chairs for the deck. All bedding was there. Beds were comfortable. And Lana (owner) messaged prior to our stay and for every question after she was immediately available. We felt safe and well taken care of.

The cabin was very cozy. We were unable to get WiFi to work. It didn’t really matter though because we were out all day throughout our stay. We were just trying to watch a movie at night. Overall, highly recommend!

I was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and I’m a proud mother of three amazing children. While I love the energy of the city, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the peace and quiet that only the country can offer. There’s something magical about leaving behind the constant motion and stepping into stillness—where you can hear the wind through the trees, watch the stars without interruption, and truly relax.

Being a host allows me to share that kind of experience with others. I created this space to be a personal retreat and love welcoming guests who are seeking the same: a pause, a reset, or simply time to reconnect with nature and the people they love.

There’s nothing better than ending the day with a cozy fire under the stars or an early morning coffee on the porch while the world is still waking up. My goal is to make every guest feel at home, cared for, and inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds this special place.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Leech Lake and the surrounding area are true hidden gems in Minnesota. The lake itself is one of the largest and most stunning in the state, offering endless opportunities for boating, fishing, and simply soaking up the views. But what really drew me in were the miles of forested trails, peaceful surroundings, and the ability to completely unplug from the noise of everyday life.

The cabin is just outside of town—far enough to feel truly remote, but close enough that you’re only minutes away from restaurants, local shops, and essentials. I love that you can have the best of both worlds: spend the morning hiking or paddling, and still be back in time for dinner in town—or a fun night out at the casino if you’re feeling lucky.

This area gives you options: quiet solitude, outdoor adventure, small-town charm, or all of the above. That kind of balance is rare, and it’s what makes this place so perfect for families, couples, or solo travelers looking to reconnect with what matters.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This cozy tiny home offers everything you need for a peaceful, comfortable stay—without sacrificing any of the charm or character that makes a cabin retreat feel special. It’s thoughtfully designed to sleep up to 5 guests and includes a full kitchen, hot shower with great water pressure, heating, A/C, and dedicated workspace with WiFi for those who want to blend escape with productivity.

What truly makes this home unique is how it captures the feeling of being “Up North” while still giving you modern convenience. Whether you’re cooking dinner, curled up with a book, or stargazing by the firepit, you’ll feel surrounded by calm and nature.

It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a place to rest, recharge, and create memories. A true tiny home experience with all the bells and whistles, perfect for those looking to unplug without giving up comfort.
