Great Pricing for Fall Fishing Vacation

Great 3 bedroom, 4 bath with private Pool & Dock!! East facing, nearly 1600 square feet of indoor living space, stilted half duplex has everything you need for your dream vacation. Open great room with soaring cathedral ceilings opens to large covered balcony with amazing views 100 foot canal. 3 roomy, en suite bedrooms. Main bedroom has a beautifully remodeled bath with a huge 2 person shower. Kitchen with ss appliances, laundry area with washer and dryer. Ground level entertaining features a cabana room with full bath, sitting area, refrigerator & microwave all overlooking the pool & dock, refreshing pool that can be heated for year round enjoyment, 37.5 foot dock, sun deck and covered patio. Garage with bait freezer. And all of this is less than 5 minutes to open ocean and gulf, located in Key Colony Beach the ''GEM'' of the Florida Keys.

There are a variety of restaurants and shops in Key Colony Beach. There are plenty of shops, activities and restaurants in Marathon, all within a 10 minute drive!

There are two beaches in Marathon: Coco Plum Beach (3.4 miles) and Sombrero Beach (7 miles)

There are two grocery stores: Publix and Winn Dixie (5.4 miles).

The property has a 7 night minimum (required by the City of Key Colony Beach) and is limited to 7 guests. You are required to provide the names and ages of all guest and well as your license plate information. There is a form you will complete and it must be on site and available for inspection by Code Enforcement and/or Police Departments of the City of Key Colony Beach.

I provide check in information (address, access code and other information) about one week before arrival.

Contact owner to arrange pool heating for winter months. The charge is $100 per week.

Keys trip

Love the Key Colony area. The house was fine enjoyed the stay and all appliances and A/C worked great and easy to use. Bait freezer and garage was nice to have. My only suggestion would be to cancel the cable and sign up for you tube TV. Or offer a fire stick. No news channels or ESPN is tough all week. But let face it most don’t go to keys to watch TV so if I return which I would I will bring my stick.

Christmas Vacation!

We LOVED our stay. The house was beautiful and easy to get there. The communication was fantastic! The pool was fantastic. We had so much fun staying here. My only small complaint was the bbq grill. We flew in from Miami and stopped and got steaks, chicken, burgers to grill all week and the grill was not the greatest. But everything else was great and we loved the simple, slowed down life of relaxation!!

Fishing paradise

We have been coming to Marathon and staying in Key Colony the last four years. This has been our favorite house so far. The location is perfect to hit the Atlantic or Gulf. Everything you need for fishing. A garage to keep your rods safe, a bait freezer, and a filet station.

Property was central to everything. Nice location and home. Dock has some screws that need to adjusted so someone won't stub a toe but otherwise everything was perfect

Family Vacation

The house had everything we needed to make meals and relax! Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side, but the games at the house let us have a lot of fun anyways! The location is perfect to Vaca cut, captain hooks, both the grocery stores. I wish we could have stayed another month!

Perfect Property

We had a great week long stay at Kathy’s place in Key Colony. Great location! We appreciated the use of the garage for our fishing and snorkeling gear. We fished along the canal every evening and saw a manatee. We ate a late lunch/early dinner out every day. Some of our favorite places to eat were Key Colony Inn, Porky’s BBQ, and Sparky's. We took our son to feed the tarpons at Bud & Mary’s, extremely friendly people, highly recommend! We visited the Turtle Hospital and the Dolphin Research Center and a day trip to Bahia Honda State Park. We did a snorkeling trip with Captain Hook’s, great trip and crew! We drove to Key West for a day trip and visited Hemingway House and toured the USCGC Ingram Maritime Museum and rode the Duvall Loop.

Family vacation 2023

This place was perfect for us! Very relaxing and this home had everything I wanted. 3/3 bedroom/bath for each couple, pool to relax in after a day in the boat and dock to keep the boat all week. We are ready to go back!

The Florida Keys provide for fabulous outdoor activities from fishing, boating, snorkeling and just enjoying the sunshine, and this property makes all of them possible. But the real reason we purchased this property was this home had everything we looked for when we booked our very first vacation rental in the Keys - a PRIVATE POOL AND A DOCK just steps from our door. . The home has a very open floorplan with a huge great room that is perfect for family get togethers and has a wall of sliding glass doors that opening to the covered balcony for outdoor dining or watching the fish jump in the 100 foot wide canal. Cool off in the cocktail pool with heater for year round use or step inside to the ground floor cabana suite with full bath.
