EXPEDITION STATION 206 - 1 Bedroom Studio - BEDDING: Queen Bed and Queen Sleeper Sofa. The mini Kitchen is suitable for light breakfasts and lunches. Microwave oven, under-counter refrigerator, 2 burner cooktop, NO OVEN. Fantastic mountain and ski trail views. Watch the sunrise every morning. Convenient location in the Village next door to Ski & Snowboard School, shops, and restaurants.

LOCATED IN THE VILLAGE SLOPE SIDE Access Split Rock heated pool and hot tubs are available at additional cost.

BUILDING AMENITIES: Free WiFi, Free Long Distance, Private lockers, Air Conditioning, Elevators, Fitness Room, Laundry facilities, full-service Rental Shop on the main floor of the building, parking is located near the complex in the main Village Parking Lot across Snowshoe Drive, Free Resort Shuttle Service

PLEASE CHECK THE AVAILABILITY OF LIFT TICKETS/LESSONS OR BIKE PARK PASSES/BIKE RENTALS/LESSONS BEFORE MAKING YOUR RESERVATION.

UPDATED HOUSE RULES:
~ Reservation holders must complete check-in requirements.
~ The reservation holder must submit a photo of their driver's license, and a selfie holding their driver's license for verification
~ A signed Rental Agreement must be returned within 24 hours of booking
~ No Pets - Pets found in non-pet properties are forbidden and will result in immediate eviction without refund and incur a $250.00 charge to the credit card on file
~ No Smoking or Vaping

The location of this property is wonderful. Ski in ski out is effortless, ski lockers downstairs are great. However, the hot water was non-existent or barely existent throughout our entire (4night) stay regardless of what time of day we used it. The silverware/ dishes were dirty, probably due to the fact that after arrival, they inform you that you, the guests have to hand wash them and put them away. The bathroom had a brown substance splattered above the shower walls and the shower curtain smelled of mildew. We messaged management and they had someone bring up a new one, but we had to remove the old one and put up the new curtain and liner ourselves. The TV is outdated and mounted "fixed" on the wall so you cannot rotate it to watch it in the bed. (Only comfortably viewable via couch.) Management was super nice and communicating a reasonable time.

Building entrance problem

Room was fine. Building main entrance stuck closed repeatedly. Door lock blinking green but door lock not disengaging. One of initial door keys became demagnetized after hours but they got me a spare without too much trouble.

Snowshoe Expedition Building

One of the best locations within Snowshoe Village! Access to rentals, lift tickets, the village and slopes are all right there. Definitely would stay in the same location. The unit itself could use some updating (the mini-fridge didn't close, so nothing stayed cold & couldn't be used). The tub/shower drain was always backed up, which is kind of gross, and the musty smell never went away, even after keeping a window open. Overall, it was a great experience despite a few cosmetic & misfunctioning items.

Well communication between the property manager and myself was lacking. I was not informed that I had to go to another hotel to check in. So I arrived at the location to be told I had to go elsewhere. There was no instruction whatsoever in the room as to how to sign in to WiFi. It turns out it was the room phone number. A bit more information would make the stay a lot more user freindly.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The studio was a great location and accommodating for our family. We enjoyed having a microwave and fridge in the room. The unit was close enough to go back to the room to warm up since it was very cold on the slopes one of the days we were there. The bus to silver creek was very easy and we are happy we went over there as the lines were not as long as snowshoe.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our annual ski vacation to Snowshoe. The rental process was easy and the property was adequate for or needs. Previous renter must have been a heavy smoker as it was a few days before we could get the odors out. Location was great for easy access to everything however snowmobiles and grooming equipment were loud early in the morning (5am). They must maintain the slopes I know.

Needs updating

No instructions were given as to where to check-in. Fortunately the folks at Snowshoe were super helpful and got us into our room. As for the room, the tv hummed, no HDMI port on tv. The bed was terrible and the pull-out couch was broken (springs broken). The pillows were thin, the sheets scratchy, no extra blankets. The toilet paper holder was broken, the hand towel holder was broken, no air dryer in the room. The carpet was stained and it smelled as if someone had smoked in the room prior to our arrival. The location was nice and the skiing was great. The room just needs some TLC and updating.

Perfect location, steps to the ski slopes!

It was a great space for me and my girlfriend. The room has a small stovetop as well as a microwave so I was able to cook meals instead of eating out. Also had a mini fridge, though you will need to keep some stuff in a cooler depending on how much food you bring. The room was very clean. The only negative is I attempted to hook up my ROKU to the tv so we could watch movies but the tv didn’t have an HDMI port. Not a huge deal, but would have been nice. I loved being so close to the slopes and right in the heart of the village! I will definitely be booking this place again!

location ftw!

The village is the place to stay in Snowshoe, dining and the slopes are only a few steps away from your room. Ive rented houses and rooms outside of the village in the past, but wont do that again after this visit! We didnt spend much time in the room, but it was clean and everything we needed was there - Id stay here again in the future for sure. Everything was so convenient and stress-free, except Starbucks doesnt open until 8a (?!?!) - byo coffee if you are like most people and like to get your days started early.

Disgusting room and awful service

We got in late Friday night, with 2 sleeping babies, and our key cards didn’t work. The manager made me go to another building to get new keys because wrong keys were given to us. When we got in room the room was dirty though they told us we couldn’t check in early because of extra cleaning time for covid. It didn’t even look like they cleaned. Food on the floor, food in the pull out couch, and dust piled thick on the bed. I have taken numerous pictures. Then the toilet broke and it took the plumber 5 hours to fix. He came by and “fixed it” but it didn’t work. I had to call manager again and said he was on his way, which he was not. Finally at 1030pm, after being broken all day, I told her we were going to bed. Mind you I have a 2 year old and a 5 yr old who I had to dress up to go outside to use a public bathroom every time they had to go. Horrible experience and I will never stay at the Expedition Station again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Little worn (sofa was dirty as well as ottomans). Didn’t seem to be vacuumed well. There wasn’t a blow dryer in the unit, so bring your own. Fortunately we had friends in the building so used their blow dryer. Paper towels not provided which I wasn’t aware, we did call and get some. One very small shampoo bottle and one tiny bar of soap. So pack more of longer stay. We didn’t use the kitchen as we spent most of our time in our friends 2 bedroom. It’s great to have a unit right on the slope but could use some better cleaning and a few updates/new furniture pieces.

Location! Location! Location!!!

Great experience! Very easy process from beginning to end! I lost phone reception as I was driving up the mountain and could not open my emails to read directions. My fault completely, just remember to read over instructions before driving up the mountain! Property management staff were very helpful, even though I called after hours! We loved the condo and its location. We are already planning our next trip for this season!!!

Excellent location and the ski locker was great. It may be the best ski in, ski out access !

It was a perfect weekend getaway and we happened to hit the best snow of the season. Easy ski in/ski out access and perfect village location.
