Inside, Whiskey Cove's dual-level floor plan is set up to comfortably host 2 families or a group of friends that are like family, with 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths and sleeping accommodations for up to 12 people. Both the upper and lower levels of the home have fully-equipped kitchens, comfy living rooms with smart TVs, full bathrooms, multiple bedrooms,laundry machines, and large decks. Look forward to lake and cove viewsfrom nearly every room in the house.

Outside,lake access isonly a few feet from the house. Explore a quiet, less-busy part of the lake in the 2 kayaks provided for guests. Curl up with coffee or a book on the outdoor couch or porch swing. Tie up your boat or jet skis along the dock to easily hopon and offall day. Lay out and catch some rays on the Aqua Lily Pad. Enjoy s'mores or a cold beverage around the lakeside fire pit.Jump in and swim safely in the calm, cove waters. Watch the fish jump, or try to catch them for yourself as you fish off thedock or from shore.Whiskey Cove is just 3 miles by car and 3 minutes by boatto the Neal's Bridge public boat launch. Holiday Landing Marina (Bluegill Grill) and themain channel of the lake at just 10-12 minutes away.

There are lots of fun off-the-water activities nearby too.Whiskey Cove is located in historic Lynchburg, Tennessee, less than 15 minutes from the world famous Jack Daniel's whiskey distillery. Tims Ford State Park has trails and activities for hikers ofall levels, plus a Jack Nicklaus golf course,and both Winchester, TN and Lynchburg, TN have historic downtown districts with shops and restaurantsthat take youback to simpler times.
Once you stay at Whiskey Cove, you won't want to stay anywhere else on the lake!


PLEASE NOTE:The dock is fully accessible and usable between April and October. The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) lowers the lake levels from mid-November and through mid-March, but the full lake level returns by late March.

Great stay, pretty house

The house was as described. Large and clean and decorated nicely. We took advantage of the Lilly pad and kayaks. It was a very spacious house with lots of deck space too. We traveled with two large families full of kids and had a great time.

Great stay!

The home was perfect! it was stocked with games and is perfect for a few different families. We very much enjoyed the accessible firepit and the complimentary s’mores basket was a nice touch! We would love to come back when it’s warmer to enjoy the water. The host was excellent!

Happiness on the lake!!

This was an amazing home with awesome hosts. The house was super and met all of the family’s needs. We had a little one and felt very safe with her and the property. We were told to make ourselves at home and everything was so well done that it was easy to do just that. Can’t wait to go back to this little slice of heaven!!

Great Family Vacation

We loved our time at Whiskey Cove! The house was very well appointed and there were plenty of items to get us started on our trip. It was very comfortable and cozy as well. The cove was great for swimming and we loved all the seating at the dock, plus the lily pad to swim off of. There are a lot of other houses on the cove but we didn’t find this to be a problem. The only thing that would have made the house better is if it had a half bath on the main floor. Overall we loved it and would definitely come back.

Guys Weekend on the TN Whiskey Trail

Whiskey Cove is a great place to stay! Six guys from our Bourbon/Whiskey Club spent the weekend...easy to get to all 4 stops on the TN Whiskey Trail that are close by. Communication with Megan was great...she was very proactive in reaching out to ensure we had everything we needed. It's a beautiful home...great for a large Family or Friends gathering right on the water at Tims Ford Lake. It is by FAR the most well-stocked of any Vacation rental I've ever stayed in as it relates to Kitchen/Pantry items...I challenge you to find something they forgot!

This was a magical week for me and my family! My sister actually got married outside near the back porch! It could not have been a more wonderful day! This house offers anything and everything you could possibly ask for or need! Pictures actually do not do this place justice. Everything is perfect. The AC works so good.. and the beds are super comfy. If you’re waiting for a but…. There isn’t one! Don’t wait.. book now! You will NOT regret it! Also.. communication with Megan was effortless. I rate everything a 10/10!

Perfection

That is exactly what the house is... perfection. The open layout gives everyone a place to sit, visit, eat, play games, cook, and so much more. Both decks overlook the lake and are a nice place for a quiet conversation. We sat around the firepit, made smores, and told some not so scarry ghost stories. In the afternoon, some napped on the giant porch swing and others fished off the dock. The dinning room table had seating for our entire group. We enjoyed a bbq dinner and made a huge breakfast the next morning. The home is decorated beautifully. It is bright and cheery just as a lake house should be. The bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. The house is immaculate and has EVERYTHING you could possibility need (including a sewing kit because you've ripped your fishing vest). This house is a gem. My family, including the kids, raved about how incredible our stay was. When visiting Tim's Ford Lake, I won't need to look for another house to rent because it couldn't get any better than this. Thank you Megan. Once again, your home is beautiful and working with you was a pleasure. Christy

Amazing Lake House

Whiskey Cove was the perfect setting for our weekend. It comfortably fit our crew of 8, and the house had everything we could have wanted. Everything in the house was well labeled, access was easy, and Megan’s communication was top notch. We especially enjoyed the patios & fire pit with lake views. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a weekend at the lake.

Whiskey Cove was wonderful!!!

This gorgeous lake home was such a delight!! We decided to switch up our annual Bunco group weekend getaway and try a lake home this year and we are so glad we did! Whiskey Cove was an absolutely stunning property that even the pictures can't fully convey. There were nine ladies in our group and we had The. Best. weekend! There was more than enough space for us to gather together as well as take a break from all of the activity that nine women create. The home is situated directly on the lake with beautiful views and outdoor spaces that were as clean and well maintained as the inside. We cooked three large meals in the fully equipped and stocked kitchen. Every cabinet and drawer was labeled which was so helpful. We cooked together, fished, enjoyed the fire pit, took naps on the outdoor bed swing, played games, put puzzles together (they even have a large wooden puzzle board so that we could easily move our puzzle from place to place), we also met some super nice neighbors and really just enjoyed seeing all of the home's beautiful furnishings and decor! Maegan was super responsive and so helpful with tips and recommendations for nearby indoor activities since we did have some occasional rain. There were several books and games provided and this truly felt like a home away from home! We LOVED everything about Whiskey Cove and we will definitely be back!!! Book this property; you won't regret it!!!

We're a busy family of 4 who toggles between work, school and travel sports, and living our best lives at the lake! We both grew up on the Great Lakes, but being Tennessee residents now for 10+ years, we love having a little piece of this region’s greatest lake. You’ll find pieces of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie, our childhood lakes, all over Whiskey Cove. We still go back to the Great Lakes every summer to enjoy the water that inspired our love of the lake.

We want your stay at Whiskey Cove to be fun, relaxing and easy, because that’s what the lake life is all about. We’ve equipped the house with as many of the big and little things we could think of to make your stay here stress-free. We just ask that you only take what you need so we have plenty left for our next stay.

We live 90 minutes away, so it is unlikely we’ll get to “meet” you in-person, unfortunately, but you are likely to see our wonderful property manager, Judy, as she lives just 5 minutes down the road. Judy will be here periodically to remove any garbage bags you put in the trash shed out front. We do keep our boats at the house and may come to the property to use them during your stay, but when guests are here, we make every effort not to disturb you in any way.

Please reach out if you have any questions, concerns or needs. We are always available to you, and if necessary, Judy can come on-site to help as well. Thank you for loving our lake home and treating it like the treasure that it is!

Ideally suited for sharing with two families or friends that are like family, Whiskey Cove features two distinct but connected living areas, complete with two fully outfitted kitchens. Upstairs, there's a large open living area, complete with a 12-person dining table that overlooks the lake, a family room area with comfortable seating for everyone, and an updated kitchen with breakfast bar seating for 5. The kitchen has ample views of the lake and double doors that open to the large upper deck. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs (1 king, 1 queen, and 1 bunk room with 2 twins and a full), plus a large main bathroom with double vanities and a large walk-in shower. The upper floor also includes a laundry room for your use.

The lower level has a lake cabin vibe, complete with fishing décor, comfy leather furniture (couch, loveseat, recliner), and a cozy gas fireplace. This level has its own fully outfitted kitchen plus a high-top table that seats 4 and seating for 3 at the breakfast bar. There is a large bedroom with a King bed that overlooks the lake, and a smaller bedroom with 2 twin beds. The living room couch on the lower level also pulls out to a full sized bed. There's a full bathroom, complete with a walk-in travertine tile shower, and a laundry closet for guests. The lower level has double doors to a deck that spans the lakefront side of the home and features a daybed swing.

The upper and lower decks connect to a sloping yard that leads to a walkway to the dock. On the dock, there are 2 kayaks and an Aqua Lily Pad for guests (please bring your own life jackets). A table and multiple chairs on the dock give you a front row seat to all the lake activities. The dock also has a swim ladder to make it easy for swimmers to get out of the water. There are bumpers along the front of the dock to tie up your boats, water skis or other watercraft for easy use throughout your stay. Two public boat launches (Neal Bridge and Lost Creek) are located less than 3 miles away.
