Lost Creek Retreat: una espaciosa casa aislada de 3 dormitorios y 2 baños en el bosque con acceso al lago Tims Ford. Ofrecemos el uso de nuestro muelle privado y un lugar para atracar su bote personal en el costado, no encubierto. Nuestra cala tiene una milla de largo con aguas muy tranquilas. Para llegar al cuerpo principal del lago, debe atravesar una calzada de 9'6 ". La altura es un problema para los barcos con torres, a menos que sean retráctiles. Si tiene alguna pregunta sobre esto, contácteme. La casa es una escapada romántica perfecta o un gran lugar para reunirse con amigos y familiares. 20 millas de Shelbyville, Walking Horse Celebration. I like others was hesitant about the house not “being on the water” but let me say…. It sure was nice to be able to pull the boat onto the bank and load it instead of climbing 100 steps to get to the water with towels, supplies and coolers. The house is laid out perfectly especially when you have teen kids you can put in the downstairs area. Ginger is an awesome host that I looked forward to seeing and visiting with. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved it. The kids enjoyed it too. They wanted to stay another night. I loved the way the cabin looked. It was beautiful. It had everything we needed. The Jacuzzi was nice, also. We all loved it. We gave it our best stay. They went kayaking, they played in the lake and went fishing. We will definitely go back.

Fantastic Stay

Ginger was so nice and chill. She came by to show us where everything was. Everything was clean, beds were comfy, and the hot tub was great. We didn’t make it down to the lake while we were there but the view was great! 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful!

It is a beautiful place in the woods on Tim's Ford Lake. The host is wonderful. We enjoyed the dock, boats, and fishing, and the grandkids loved the water slide and water toys! It's a great place to enjoy a relaxing weekend! I recommend it for any time of the year! We couldn't ask for more pleasant hosts who really work to make the stay enjoyable!

So Many Additional Amenities at this Property!

We were a bit upset at first due to being under the impression from the photos that the water, boat slip, outdoor porch, ect was just across the street. Once we got over the initial upset if that, and Ginger gave us a tour of the property and amenities, it ended up being a great stay! Ginger let us use her kayaks, paddle boards, lili pad, and even her billiards room! There are plenty of kayaks for a large family, with life jackets as well. She made us feel very comfortable, and right at home! The house was very clean, and had plenty of room for our large group. The hot tub was great, and the outside grill was a plus too!

Great vacation on Tims Ford

We had a wonderful trip. You have your own little private cove on the lake with all you need to enjoy time out on the water. Ginger was a gracious host and we definitely plan to come back.

Second time staying here, Great location and even better host!

My husband and I first stayed at Ginger's place 10 years ago and recently decided to extend our visit in the area by booking a few more days before heading back home. Ginger is, without a doubt, the best host we've ever rented from. She is incredibly hospitable and kind. Our 9-year-old absolutely loved the slide on the dock into the lake, and we had the delightful company of Daisy, the dog, who swam alongside us as we kayaked. It was such a joy, and we can't wait to return. Thank you so much for hosting us, Ginger!

Perfect Stay

We had an amazing time and cant wait to return soon!! Great location and we had so much fun. There is so much to do at the lake and lots of board games that we played at night. We enjoyed playing pool in the game room! The kitchen was well stocked, we cooked for every meal during our stay. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Total Relaxation

This was a hidden gem! The house is tucked away in nature. Went for the week with my adult sons who loved the fishing & kayaking on the property and of course Jack Daniel’s Distillery which was 10 minutes away.

A 5 star family fun getaway!

Lost Creek Retreat couldn't have been better! The cabin was clean & well equipped with cozy seating in the main living area for the 8 of us as well as comfy beds to sleep in. Ginger and Mandi go out of their way to provide everything you need and then some! The kids age 11- 19 had a blast in the lake, kayaking, swimming, fishing,& paddle boarding. They all took turns trying to catch a small rubber ball as they came down the slide into the lake,having to try to retrieve it before Daisy, the dog could get it. Parents and grandparents also made good use use of most of the above wayer gear. Everywhere you look you see Ginger's excellence and inspiration around her home and property, from the rock garden to the dock, boat house, and cornhole area creating a fun family getaway. We loved every minute and will come back again !

Unique Retreat

We loved our stay at Lost Creek Retreat! The pictures do not do it justice; this place is absolutely gorgeous! The location is stunning and the amenities kept us entertained. The owners are accessable and welcoming but not overbearing. The shelves and cupboards are well stocked to anticipate your every need. Some of us did have issues with cell reception but the WiFi worked great. Plus the purpose of going to a lake retreat is to disconnect anyway. My only regret is that we didn't have a longer stay.

We love the seclusion being in the woods and on the lake. We enjoy the lake and kayaking the rivers in the summer. We ride our horses when it's too cold for the water. I've had this land for 42 years and have enjoyed the serenity of this area. We are happy to share our piece of heaven with our guest.

Private area with private boat dock access on Tims Ford Lake. In addition to being a safe recreational boating lake, Tim's Ford is an outstanding, year-round fishing lake for stripers and smallmouth bass. Its reputation for trophy striper and smallmouth fishing extends several hundred miles. Major bass and striper tournaments are held on the lake annually. The lake is also ideally suited for the angler that just wants to relax and catch a few catfish or bluegills. Mallard ducks, Canadian geese, bald eagles, deer, wild turkey, and other kinds of wildlife can be seen while boating on this beautiful 10,000 acre lake. Take a day and visit Jack Daniel's Distillery and have lunch at Miss Mary Bobo's. Bear Trace Golf Course is only 8 miles away.
