Gaviota es un acogedor, limpio, brillante cabaña justo en la playa de arena. Ir a dormir con el sonido arrullador de las olas del mar. Haga que su café de la mañana en la cubierta del capitán, con su fabulosa vista al mar. Dé un paseo a su puerta, a pocos pasos del mar. Barbacoa en las parrillas de gas, ya sea en su patio playa o el piso superior.

Excellent stay at the Seagull. Cute cottage in a prime location with ocean front view from the upper porch. Enjoyed watching the sunset while sitting by the campfire on the beach. Can't think of anything we needed and didn't have.

Adorable beach cottage with lots of charm. It has a very lived in feeling. Nell is extremely nice and a wonderful host. We had the pleasure of having wine at sunset with her next door. The place is right on the sand. Perfect beach access.

We came to the Pismo Classic Car Show and wanted a place nearby, yet close to the beach and we found it here! The place was a cute true beach home with a little sandy play area for kids if you didn’t want to actually walk a few extra steps to the shore. The beds were so comfortable and we liked the fact that each bdrm had their own. Nell was a terrific host and left us a peach pie upon arrival! She was proactive and very responsive. We had questions about the hot tub and she replied super fast to help. We didn't know it was a shared hot tub, but it was ok because the other house didn’t use it until the last day, which we weren’t going back in anyways. I loved the small kitchen as it was easy to keep clean. The entire house was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the lookout bar upstairs and spent most time there. We watched whales from the barstools while we barbecued and sipped mimosas. The sunset was amazing as that is my favorite part of coming to the beach. The fire pits were also a hit although we didn’t know which one was for our house. But the neighbors were friendly and we just agreed to share and use whatever was not being used by the other house. I can’t wait to book again and book the entire property! We accidentally left the grandbabies swimsuit and Nell kindly mailed it back to is, who does that nowadays?? NELL LANGFORD DOES!

We stayed here as a family with young children and had a mixed experience. Nell was very responsive and kind throughout our stay. She left a pie in the freezer, checked in on us, and had the hot tub cleaned and refilled on our second night, which made it much more enjoyable.A few cleanliness issues caught us off guard upon arrival. The second bathroom did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned, the upstairs refrigerator needed attention, we found some missed cigarette butts in corners, and we noticed ants during our stay. Nell offered to send someone to clean the bathroom the next morning, but we declined since we arrived late and the kids had already used it.One thing future guests should know is that I wasn't familiar with Oceano. When the wind picks up, sand seems to get everywhere—beds, chairs, floors, and outdoor areas. That's more a characteristic of the location than the property itself, but it was not something I expected.The house seems better suited for groups looking for a beach crash pad near ATV riding, surfing, and nightlife than for families seeking a quiet beach retreat. Its proximity to the main beach entrance makes it convenient but also busy and noisy. On the positive side, it's within walking distance of beach access, ATV rentals, restaurants, and local shops. I can understand the appeal for a different type of traveler, but I wouldn't recommend it for families with young children looking for a comfortable, quiet beach

Small and compact, needs remodeling/updating. It is located right on the beach but not ideal for families with small children as the entrance to the water for vehicles is right next door and there were at least 20 cars driving next to the water at all times. The host did make a play area next to the door for children to play with sand. No cold water in any sink available but host was sweet and left a pie in the freezer for us to cook and eat.

Thanks for the feedback Tawnie. In the time since you were here, we have been busy making major improvements in Seagull. We put in a new front gate and painted the big pots on the driveway front. In the master bedroom we removed unneeded bedding, etc, in the closet and put in a new baseboard, and we emptied the dresser drawers The upper deck now has a working light, new bbq and mini fridge and the wooden bar top rail has been sanded and painted. After your stay we immediately noticed the hot water coming out of the cold water faucets and solved the problem by turning the heater dial back to its normal position that mistakenly got turned up before your stay. We also cleaned the rugs, chairs, and couches, and discarded an old patio bench. Sorry for going on and on, but I want you to know what we have done since you were here, and wish we had done before you arrived. You were lovely guests.

Family trip with two teen daughters and our small dog. We enjoyed our stay at the Seagull. The crow’s nest, hot tub and fire pit were nice features. Great place on the beach. Close walk to restaurants, general store and atv rentals.

Cottage style beach home with comfortable furniture and steps from beach. Multi-level patios/balconies to socialize, soak in hot tub, and view sunsets and whales. I could imagine generations of the host, Nell’s, family enjoying the home and adding square footage to accommodate their growing family. Nell greeted us on arrival and offered any assistance to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable..

Beachfront lot with two separate houses on it that share laundry and spa with time share system so it is always private for both, accessible within one hour. Seagull sits behind Sanddollar. Seagull has a great view from upper deck. It is directly on the sandy beach, where you can build a fire. If you are looking for front-on beach view, please see Sanddollar at HomeAway listing 192476. If you are ok with a view of the ocean over Sanddollar's roof, accessed from your upper deck, choose Seagull. It sits on the same beachfront lot but behind Sanddollar.
