Natalie, Thank you for your feedback as we are always looking to improve a renters experience. We are surprised by your rating, as we checked in with you multiple times throughout your stay and never were notified of any of these claims. However, I would like to take the time to address the few items listed above: Here at Judith's Escape, we always provide the home with enough towels per guest count plus 1 more for spare since there is a washer and dryer located on the property. We do NOT consider ourselves a full time operating resort, however, if a guest ever request more towels upon their arrival, we always make sure that the guests needs are our priority. If I had been notified that at any point during your stay that you were unsatisfied with the amount of towels, I would have had extra delivered to you from our supply room. Our manual, that you signed, also states that we only provide a "starter amount of dish tabs and laundry pods", again we are not a full time operating resort that supplies endless amounts of disposable items. However, if more were requested, we would have been glad to refill your supply. Since you're stay, we have doubled the amount of dish tabs and laundry pods. In regards to the "ants and bugs". The property gets sprayed every 30 days. What I can say is that the home was checked immediately upon your departure. What we found was ice cream left smeared on quite a few chairs and a lot of crumbs scattered all throughout the home from your children. You must know, that if you do not clean the mess the children have left behind, that insects will find them. I also was not made aware of this at anytime throughout your stay or on your departure. Since your departure, the current guest has not had any issues. Perhaps it was the mess the children were leaving behind? To be fair, in the amenities section, we do not have the pack and play listed, so this should have been taken into consideration prior to your reservation. Since your stay, we have added one to the property. In regards to our pricing, we are saddened to hear that you felt that the home was over priced. Please understand, that some of rates during your stay were doubled due to holiday pricing. There are a total of 4 rooms in the home, in which each room ranges from $150-$200 nightly, for breakdown purposes. We think the house is fairly priced due to a single standard hotel room in the Virgin Islands starting anywhere from $250-$450. At our property you will also get access to a private beach, gated community (like the easter festival your family enjoyed while thy were visiting), private pool and water view. You will also have access to a staff that is committed to your needs being their #1 priority. The review is the only notice I've had about the hot water. The current guest has had no issues with that. I have also sent maintenance in to check on the on this matter. He also has not been able to find any evidence of this claim. Is it possible that you or the children could have been using the wrong side of the faucet? We wished that you notified us about this matter so that we could have remedied it as fast as the AC unit. Thank you for your feedback on the pillows. Since, we have had them replaced. We encourage all of our guests to call us immediately if they ever experience any issues with the home so that we can send maintenance or cleaning out to remedy the situation as fast as possible. Without knowledge of the issue, we simply can not help the guest. We strongly suggest, contacting your host in the future if you ever experience any inconvenience at their property to improve the quality of your stay and be able to get a more accurate rating of the property and its amenities.
