newly renovated inside and out, spacious great room, fabulous views from 3 large bay windows, peaceful and very quiet. Enjoy the wildlife around the property, quail, dove, hummingbirds, roadrunners, rabbits and much more. Automatic gates at the entrance to the rental. A key fob is in the rental for your use to open and close the automatic gates from your vehicle while you're enjoying your stay. Scenic views, come see the gorilla on Black Mountain. 2 miles to convenient shopping, golf and casinos. Welcome Home!

Great place to access the Desert Museum and Saguaro Monument.

Clean, very spacious home. Rabbits, quail, roadrunners and other birds on the premises. Located on the edge of town and semi-rural. Good security with gated entry and good lighting. Interesting host who has done a fantastic job of learning to live in the desert. Would come again.

Peaceful jewel

We had the most peaceful weekend at a beautiful rental home in Tucson, Arizona. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy and welcoming. The owner was incredibly kind and allowed us to check in earlier than expected, which made a big difference. The home had everything we needed and so much more—it truly felt like a home away from home. When my family came to visit, they couldn’t stop complimenting how gorgeous and comfortable the space was. Aside from a small hiccup with the gate, everything went smoothly. It was the perfect, soul-soothing escape.

This VRBO is a hidden jewel

We stayed for 5 days. Our flight from Seattle was delayed for 7 hours so our check in got pushed way back. Leroy was in contact the whole time with us and assured that whatever time we came in would be fine and it was. Between the well appointed house, well kept grounds and a wonderful guy like Leroy our trip and stay was saved. For us there is no reason to ever stay at a different location in Tucson and we will be back.Terry and Teri Golding, Lenore, Idaho Spring, 2025 .

The little things count!

Everything was great. Just a short drive from the city and we were in a quiet country retreat that was exactly what we wanted. Our host had thought of everything. Those little extras like TV listings, gate remote, full kitchen, and more. Fabulous property with quail and cactus. One of our group uses a Walker and there was so much room it was easy for her to maneuver. Thank you Ll for a wonderful place. We will be back.

Living the high life in South Tuscon

Leroy is the best vacation landlord I have ever worked with. Although not the best neighborhood in Tuscon, property is secure and very comfortable.

Wildlife Bonanza

Very nice place as we have traveled together for the past 13 yrs!!!! Leroy was one of the kindest person you could meet and opened his homes for anything you could ask!!! Overall one of the best VRBO rentals we have had. Thanks Leroy we will be back

Best host we ever had.

Great views from even in the house, any room. Cool desert yard with great mountain views all around the house. Comfortable furniture, nice beds, large rooms. We look forward to being there again.

Tucson Rural Living

The accommodation was exactly as listed. Everything was very clean. Any utensil or cooking implement you might want was supplied. . We enjoyed this rental very much as we were travelling as a couple and had another adult person with us. There was lots of areas to be without being under foot. The main bedroom was larger than a hotel bedroom and had a love seat located under a sunny bay window. The bed in this room was very comfortable as was the one in the other used bedroom. An advantage of this rental was the amount of sunlight available in every room. Make note I said rural area. You will see rabbits and hear other wildlife. This adds to the rural feel. Leroy lives close by and is very conscious of providing a safe environment. I would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone who wants to experience the rural life. My husband and his guest were attending a skeet shooting competition close by and felt very much at home here

Nice secluded comfortable place!

It was a perfect arrangement for our group. One couple had a bedroom, the other adult a bedroom and of course the teenager got a room for themselves. Nice open living area was great, plus a spacious kitchen with plenty of room to work... and all the utensils that you need in a kitchen. Parking was plentiful and private. Our outstanding host Leroy was there to answer any questions we had and made sure we well accommodated. Highly recommended by our whole group.

Great home in Tucson

It was perfect for my family! It was very comfortable and had everything we could want with some nice extra touches. We’ll definitely stay here again if I bring my 85 year old dad back to the Gem and Mineral shows. 😊
