Updated one level cabin with level walk to dock and lakefront. Two nice size bedrooms with king beds and sleeper sofa in second bedroom. Property is close to the town of Hamlin with stores and restaurants. Bring your boat or jet ski and you can put right at the dock on the lakefront!

Blankets and pillows are provided. You are responsible for linens and towels.

Great location

We were here for a wedding celebration at Lacawac Sanctuary. Perfect location! Property was super clean and well equipped. I would suggest bringing dish towels along with your sheets and towels. We had a cold weekend and were glad that we brought some wool blankets. I would stay there again!

Outdoor property not clean table chairs are dirty. Deck is not swept. Found mouse poop on pillow. Inside is cleaned. Ice cubes are not filled. Charged too much for cleaning fees. I rather stay at the hotel.

Love a Lake House

Great Place! Great Location! Great Views! Love looking out all the windows. Private, quiet, clean and nice spot for your boat not to get beat up by the waves. Definitely coming back for a longer stay! Wallenpaupack My Favorite Lake 💦

Quaint and Clean

We enjoyed our stay. The home was spotless which is a big deal for me! The furniture was comfortable and there were some nice updates. The wood stove is a great addition if your weekend is rainy and cool like ours. It is a nice place on the lake.

Place is In a great location to the lake

Home was clean, and organized, great view and lots to see and do. We fished, kayaked and enjoyed the view. Would recommend to anyone. Ray was nice and works next door and available if you have problems which we had none..

Got to property and checked in around 4:30 PM. Went to bed at 10 o’clock and was startled by someone knocking at door. Turns out it was another family who said that they had the house for that weekend. Obviously, you guys double booked the house and it was a total inconvenience for them, but a true annoyance for us. We tried to contact the property manager, with no success as he turns his phone off at 9 PM. Therewas no other number on our contract to contact someone. It turned out to be a mess, but the other family were fortunate enough to find another place to stay. The next day, my wife went next-door to the marina and found the property manager. He was not really apologetic and said that it was not his fault.

This place is NOT recommended. After booking, the host did not send any check-in instructions 72 hours prior to check-in as clearly required by Vrbo policy. You would expect a normal host will send access instructions proactively to the guest on check-in day. However, in our case, we didn’t receive any access instruction beforehand, instead we had to contact the host multiple times before he finally responded and gave us the door code just over one hour before our check-in time (door code only, without any other information such as parking instruction, etc). It gives you the feeling the host doesn’t care about the guests and the guests are unwelcomed. It wasn’t a good experience and It definitely caused unnecessary stress to our travel. If you arrive at the house after dusk, it is difficult to find the house because there is no street number on the house and the mailbox number in front of the house is wrong. Also there are no curtains on the side windows of the dining area. So there is no privacy at night when you are walking near the kitchen or walking in and out one of the bedrooms.

Great Trip!

This property was exactly as listed! Quiet, clean, and comfortable. There was great access to the lake, and not too far from town with plenty of restaurants and things to do. We'll definitely be back.

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this cute little house! I love how it has direct access to the lake and a fire pit down by the water. The front porch is great too with a beautiful view of the lake.
