All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchenette, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent and toiletries.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $1000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund minus a $125 Cancellation fee or a $75 Change fee if applicable. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.**

6 Star amazing stay. There are some wonderful little touches. There is a guest book and a wishing letter drawer :)The location can not be better. Communication was prompt. Space was very clean. I felt very fortunate to have been able to book it for my dates. Note: I've had multiple 5 star short term rentals, 2 of which we in the top 5 of a major US city. No short term rental is as perfect as your very own home however it doesn't get much better than this. My trip comprised of my 6 year old daughter and I. We will be back with the hopes of renting this same room.We will return

Great stay, other than the bed. Great location, clean and comfy but the bed left a lot to be desired. Very hard mattress and not enough pillows. Front door was finicky to get into the building, but it's over 100 years old so it's OK. Other than that 5 stars

Great stay

This was exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway from Denver. The hotel could not be more centrally located, and the room was comfortable. Being able to have our dog with us was a major plus — he is an anxious boy, and it’s often hard to find somewhere that is comfortable for all three of us! The only flaw with the room is that the blinds closest to the bed do not block out the light, so it was difficult to sleep past the 7am sunrise. Otherwise, we would highly recommend this and hope to return soon!

Beautiful view and great WiFi

Very lovely! Bed was comfortable and unit was decorated very pleasingly. WIFI was great… my husband worked while we were there.

Salida Palace hotel

The location of the property was awesome. Right in downtown Salida. Parking however was a problem and we weren’t given specific about 2 hour limits and no overnight parking across thebridge until the checkin email. The room itself was nice. However, there was no door on the freezer in the refrigerator and it was completely frosted over and dripping down in the refrigerator. Supposedly there was a complimentary first cup of coffee but there was no coffee to be found.

Fantastic Location and Great Room

The room was very clean and well-appointed, and cozily decorated with local flair in a more B&B style. The one side is all windows with a wide open view of Riverside Park, diminished somewhat by the window screens. What can you do? The location is great for easy walking to restaurants and night life. It also means it is right at the center of the action, so you can expect voices, vehicle noises, and so on to carry a bit into the room when things are active. I could also hear noise coming the room above me, which is to be expected from an older property like this. Unfortunately, it was the kind of noise you'd expect from a severely inebriated couple, their music, and the dog they thought it would be fun to play with until 1:30 am, at which time I finally had enough. I had texted the number that was used to initially reach out to me for check-in a couple times, but it was late and I was more hoping than expecting them to be up. I ended up going up to the room above and asking them to turn their [expletive] music down, which apparently was "disrespectful" to wobbly, easily triggered drunk slob who answered the door. Management said they followed up with them when the finally got back to me via text the next day. None of this is their fault, but I do wish I had some other way of getting this addressed quicker than it did. I lost 3 hours of sleep because of it, which made the long drive early the next morning and work afterwards more challenging than it should have been.

One Night at 201

Great historic location and setup for the two of us and our two Golden Retrievers. Trail, park, restaurants and bakery are all with a short walk. Checking in and out was easy with plenty of street-side parking. A definite recommendation if staying the night in Salida.

Nearly perfect

This is an astonishing place smack in the middle of the wonder that is Salad — a hip, fun community with lots of great food choices and recreation galore. I don’t think you could find a better place.
