Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this condo was beautiful. however there were minor damages from previous renters that were not resolved. The living room recliner has a totally broken foot stool. Sliding doors need to rollers, opening and closing was difficult. Toilet paper holders were broken and off the wall. All minor issues in a beautiful unit that needs maintenance. We still loved it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third stay in Westwinds 4839. In the past we have found the unit to be impressive and exceeded our expectations. This year however, we felt that the unit needed some TLC. The stove is definitely worn and grubby. The carpets had multiple stains and definitely needed cleaning. Walls had marks and dings. Master bath shower grout needs to be bleached and scrubbed. Way too much added “stuff”/decor. Gave a sense of clutter and less room. As noted above, none of these issues were relevant during past visits. Prior to our 2024 visit, we would have never hesitated to stay in Westwinds 4839... it was our first choice. After this visit, we felt differently. We all felt that maybe the unit had changed ownership?Hopefully this review will be shared with the owners.

Excellent beach vaca

Property was just as pictured and described. I was surprised how much i enjoyed being so high up on the 19th floor. No pool noise, just crashing waves. The view was excellent. Sunrise on the left and ocean right in front. The pool was amazing. Never over crowed. Tiki bar was a great addition (of course super expensive, but that's expected). Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable. Kitchen lacked a few equipment/utensils. No measuring spoons, and only 3 regular coffee cups and 4 tea cups. Only draw back was a severly clogged shower drain. The handyman was there within an hour and fixed it. I would also have liked if some old beach towls were included. Packing a whole suitcase of towls is a pain. Having a few more beach and sand toys would have been nice too. It advertised a beach closet, but no sand toys. Just 1 football and 1 boogie board. Not a deal breaker, but would have made for less running to the store. The whole family agreed we would return and stay longer next time.

This property is spacious and clean and in a gated area. The property grounds have a relaxing tropical atmosphere! Steps to the beach and it's nice to have a tiki bar at the pool area!

The views are wonderful and a quick walk thru the pool area and by the tiki bar ;) you are right in the beach which white sands and beautiful blue green water. The staff was amazing too and very helpful. I never had any issues at all and certainly none that required a call to management. We will def be back next summer

Beautiful place and the location was excellent! We loved the accommodations to the pool, beach, restaurants and shopping areas. My only feedback consists of having more supplies for guests staying for longer than 4 days. 2 trash bags, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 extra roll of TP, etc was very disappointing for the amount of money we paid in this beautiful place and for the other fees charged. Please consider being more accommodating to guests staying a week. In all- it was a fabulous stay!

This unit needs updates, toilet paper holder, rusted, toilet is cracked and bowl is discolored. Sofa’s were terrible! When sitting down they make a terrible sound! Carpet in bedrooms was worn and dirty. Beautiful view from this unit but it definitely needs lots of TLC.

Slightly Disappointed…

The condo was clean and the facilities were nice, but in my opinion the pictures made the place look way bigger than what it was and for the money I spent, I was disappointed. The kitchen was very small and did not have any simple condiments such as salt or pepper. Maybe we have just been spoiled in the past 5 times we have stayed at different locations they always provided aluminum foil, paper towels, salt pepper etc. I believe the kitchen needs an overhaul done as far as main essentials wise, when cooking there was not enough pans. The beds were very comfortable so that was a plus and it was bug free!

Not what was promised...

Long story short - this property was not what we were expecting. While this may not seem like a huge deal to some, it was to us. We were guaranteed that the pool would be available during our stay (I even made the extra effort to verify it would be while we were there before I booked). When we got there, the pool deck was under construction and the access to the beach via the pool deck was closed. We were told to use the public beach access and a different public pool - neither of which were remotely close enough for walking to (not with 3 small children). The inconvenience this posed to us was awful. You can imagine our disappointment and also the disappointment in the multiple other families staying there as well. The amenities of the complex and location are what you are really paying for by staying here - without those - you might as well save your money and stay at a hotel inland. This condo itself is in dire need of a thorough deep clean. The cabinet paint is wearing off and the insides of the cupboards and drawers are grossly dirty. The furniture needs a cleaning or needs to be updated as well. The bedrooms and bathrooms were fine. Having the washer and dryer available was helpful. Despite these two small pluses, we will NEVER be back.

Great location! Beautiful grounds and building.

Check in was a breeze. Don't plan on checking in one minute before 4:00. The location was excellent. The unit was roomy, and the view was remarkable! There was no trash can in the kitchen, and the cabinets/drawers were really worn and quite dirty. The whole condo could've used a real deep clean. Parking was great. We never waited more than 30 seconds for an elevator, and there were plenty of luggage carts for bags and groceries. The pool/beach were on the main level, and that was very convenient. The beach chairs were pretty crowded, but if you brought your own beach chairs, it's wasn't too bad. The beach was spectacular! I would definitely stay at this property again!
