Casa Toloc- Oceanfront Home, Amazing Views, Oceanfront Seasonally Heated Pool!

Casa Toloc is an amazing home located directly on the coast of the Caribbean Sea near the southern point of Isla Mujeres (near Cliff of the Dawn). Casa Toloc is often referred to as "the grass roof house" and offers a truly unique setting. The ocean side of the home offers outstanding views of the ocean with a seasonally heated pool in winter months (80-85 F)! The garden side offers the serenity of a jungle garden.
The unobstructed views of the Caribbean from both inside the home and from the pool deck and palapa covered lounge areas will truly take your breath away. Our home has just been completely renovated, and every surface has been replaced with high end finishes. Included are 4 master bedrooms, each with private en suite bathrooms and king beds. The large open concept living space and gourmet kitchen are just steps away from the new pool and covered decks. A wall of stacking glass sliding doors joins the interior with the outdoors, letting the view and sea breezes inside. The pool deck includes chaise lounges for soaking up the sun and two separate palapa covered decks with exterior living and dining areas. Also included are an outdoor shower and half bath for easy access while enjoying the outside areas and an outdoor BBQ area. The expansive front yard garden is beautifully landscaped and perfect for relaxing. The house includes internet access through Starlink and use of the washer/dryer.

Beautiful & comfortable

Lovely and comfortable accommodations in every way. The space is very thoughtfully used not to mention the incredible view. Our family enjoyed the walking path along the ocean daily.

Amazing property

The home is lovely and had everything we needed. We loved being on the Caribbean side of the island with the gorgeous views. We had a wonderful family vacation and enjoyed our stay immensely!

Family getaway

We stayed at Casa Toloc as two families and it was the perfect escape. Beautiful location and the pool was great to have for kids that didn’t want the beach time but we still wanted the ocean view. We will definitely be back.

Casa Toloc is absolutely amazing! We had 7 adults and had plenty of room. The 4 bedrooms are all beautiful, plenty of space throughout the home without feeling like you’re on top of each other. Plenty of Towels, blankets, closet space and bathroom toiletries. If you prefer a quieter location this house is perfect, it’s located in the south side of the island, with a golf cart it’s easy to get to the north side. What really made the home perfect is the property mgr Chema, he was so helpful with arranging transportation and recommending restaurants. Chema is great!Our group hopes to return to Casa Toloc soon!

Great Place!!

Casa Toloc is a great place to stay. Very clean, communication was top notch - Chema made everything very easy. The house itself is beautiful, large bedrooms each with it's own bathroom. Outside area has an amazing view, pool is great. Stocked kitchen. The house does have an iron and ironing board. I would highly recommend renting here. Host and property management company are top notch. We will rent here again.

Our Casa Toloc getaway was FABULOUS. The house was as advertised…if not better. It was clean, well appointed, and well designed. We have stayed at several other properties in Punta Sur, and this ranks in the top.

Needed Friends Getaway

Home was as described.The views are unbeatable.We had a lovely time. we apparently were there during the worst. Weather Isla has had in quite some time, so the pool was really too cold to use. But our time was still very enjoyable and we will be back.

Breathtaking

This house gave our trip the wow factor!! Walking through the front door and seeing the wide open view of the ocean from the wall of windows was absolutely stunning ! Sitting on the porch to See the sunrise was amazing as well. Great house , cold air conditioners, perfect location we loved it !!

Isla 60th Birthday

This place was awesome. Beautiful house overlooking Ocean from pool. The property manager was excellent. We met the owners who were such nice people. My family and I hsd so much fun in Isla. What a great island. Definitely rent a golf cart. VRBO was so easy.

Amazing time away from snow

Very relaxing place. On the edge of a vacant area seemed isolated as the other side did not have anybody staying there. Response time was good for the concierge and service people using Whatsapp. Beautiful setting.

Lovely location, large bedrooms/bath. Beautiful views-10/10! Living room needs more soft seating for lounging. Outdoor furniture needs replacement - cushions were dirty and loungers were broken with no cushions. No wanted to use them for fear they would break.

Absolutely amazing!!

Our first time staying on the island, and we were not let down at all with casa toloc. The house was just as described, and what the pictures show. We could not have been happier with the house and the quick communication with any questions we had prior to our arrival. The house concierge was also great and helped arrange taxis and reservations at restaurants for us. We were provided with plenty of towels, washcloths and robes. The kitchen was well stocked and there was even a drink cooler. We were very impressed with how much water we were provided with. We 100% would recommend this house.

Casa Toloc --- AMAZING

We had one of our most amazing vacations to Isla Mujeres in July 2024 and that was in part due to our fabulous stay at Casa Toloc! The house was exactly like the pictures and even had more to it than what the description pointed out. There were no surprises upon arriving and the house was super clean. The owners of Casa Toloc were super responsive to any and every question prior to our arrival. Even while we were there, the owner dropped by (due to possible hurricane approaching) and was very friendly and accommodating. He even called in a restaurant reservation for us that we were having trouble getting!! Mundaca is the property management company they use, which comes with a concierge that was super helpful during our stay. They helped with reservations, taxi service, snorkeling trips, etc. It was by far the best experience we have had with a VRBO. I would highly recommend staying at Casa Toloc and we will for sure be visiting and staying there again!!

Amazing

The home felt like our own, the front garden entrance welcomes you with serenity, the ecofriendly combinations inside and outside the house are beautiful. The house obligates you to become one with the blue ocean once inside. Every room allows the breeze to flow ( even inside the showers ). Kitchenware is stacked ( I'm in the food industry and I assure you ). The pool was a delight, the view is completely unobstructed and incredible, but the people of the island are sincerely amazing. Chema the concierge and house manager was just wonderful, my daughter ran a high fever late at night during our stay and I reached out to him and he responded immediately. He had doctors numbers , a cab driver ready in case I had to get going etc. Pools, beds, views are great, but the hospitality I received from Chema and the property are priceless.

great stay

This is a really nice and clean house, the pool was cleaned every second day and the views were breath-taking. It was very quiet and peaceful. The house looked better in person than on-line. Here were the pros and cons of the house: Pros - clean, quiet, drinking water supplied, pool cleaned every second day, rooms had bathrooms attached, beach towels supplied, good communication, views great, location great, grounds were rustic and beautiful, lots of seating areas outside and inside, walking path just out back, iguanas friendly, kitchen stocked, lots of hot water for showers Cons - ants (but can't be helped when you are surrounded by nature and they didn't really bother us), the sliding doors were very heavy and hard to open and had no screens, the rocking chairs in the back kept getting black on our arms (I think they were spray painted and in the heat it came off), no flushing toilet paper so have to throw in garbage can (not owners fault this is the whole island) Hints for your trip - don't order a golf cart ahead, go downtown and negotiate a price yourself it will be cheaper. get a golf cart you will need it. Places to go groceries - go to Chedruai (orange grocery bags under sink) Beaches - downtown of course but there is also beach clubs (you buy food and drink and get great access to beaches) Zaza and Oceans were two we went to and they were great. If you want a quieter beach go to them, the downtown beaches are very busy.

Beautiful!

Casa Toloc is beautiful and even better than the pictures show! Each room and private bath are updated and spacious. We spent a lot of time on the back patio and in the pool. The view is absolutely stunning!!! My husband and I stayed here with our 3 kids, and we had more than enough room. The kitchen is updated and plenty of clean water is provided for drinking, cooking, making coffee, etc. We rented a golf cart and easily made our way around the island. Right down the street from the house are 2 excellent restaurants. Definitely try Mayakita for breakfast and lunch! DeNuccio's is also great for dinner. We enjoyed being on the southern end of the island away from the hustle and bustle of Norte Isla but easily found our way by golf cart to that area when we wanted. The internet worked great and the checkin/checkout process was super easy. You won't have access to the beach from behind the house. It is a steep rocky area to get to the ocean. However, this is where you will see iguanas soaking up the sun! It is fun to lounge in the pool and watch them roam around. At night hermit crabs would walk around the front yard which our kids loved! It was a long day of travel for us to get there, so the only thing I wished I would have done before we arrived is had groceries delivered to the house. We will do that next time! We definitely recommend this home!

This home was SPECTACULAR!!! There are 4 rooms positioned on all four corners of the homr, allowing for a bit of privacy! When you walk in the front door, prepared to be WOW'D! The view is pure luxury! The beds were confortable, the showers lovely, and that pool overlooking the ocean - perfection! The concierge service was beyond thoughtful and helpful! Chema was attentive, solution-focused, so informative and friendly! His kindness and great communications allowed for us to truly be worry free!
