Fantastic

This place is fantastic, the location is perfect. It’s only a short drive to downtown Fredericksburg and Luckenbach. The host’s went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and memorable.

amazing weekend getaway

We had 3 couples in our group and enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this property. The host was the most accommodating & generous host I've ever had. It was close to town and yet still in the country. I would highly highly recommend this place!

Our stay was wonderful! The house is so warm and cozy, and we loved the Christmas decorations. It made our stay so special!There were 6 adults and a 4 year old, and the house was perfect for us. Hope we can come again next year!

Great Stay

Property owner was very responsive. Monica made amazing treats for us and offered a birthday cake which was delicious. The location was great, quiet and had ample space. Definitely recommend.

Another Amazing Weekend

This is the 2nd time we’ve rented this quaint farmhouse. It’s perfectly located off 290 and offers plenty of privacy for our group of friends. The house is so cute and comfortable. The muffins and biscuits Monica makes are delightful! The extra thought and amenities she provides makes it an amazing trip and we’ll be back next year for our yearly trip to the wine country!

Social Distancing Ranch

We had a great stay on Monarc Ranch. The property was secluded and peaceful. Monica, the property owner, left us amazing baked goods(homemade biscuits and peach Kolaches) as well as farm fresh eggs and milk!! We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Perfect!

This was the perfect getaway for our girls' weekend. It's in the ideal location. Beds were great. Lots of hot water. We loved going for walks and sitting on the front porch. We'll be back!

This was the perfect place for a girlfriend weekend - there were 7 of us who made the reunion - We had a wonderful time - Monica thank you sooo much for the special attention - we could not have been happier - the house was FABULOUS and the goodies you made for us were DELICIOUS!!!!

House in the country

The house was very well maintained with plenty of extras provided by the property owner. Our favorite area was the outdoor fire pit that came with plenty of wood to burn. Great way to spend our New Year’s Eve!

This property was amazing and had all the little luxuries you could imagine. You literally just needed your clothes. The sunset around the fire pit was so relaxing. Monica was so sweet and the homemade goodies were awesome!

Birthday weekend

Family birthdays celebration. Goodtime being together. We were further from town than we realized. You definitely need your vehicle to go anywhere.

Yes we are located in the beautiful hill country. There are many options for travel, our town offers Uber, Taxi, and Shuttles to enjoy our wineries, and quaint town.

Long awaited girls trip

For 7 adult women this place was fantastic. Being welcomes by some music and to die for biscuits and fresh jam was the greatest. Monica was extremely helpful and we felt very confident she'd handle any concerns that may have arise. Luckly there was none. Great place for comfort and relaxation.

Great trip - Delicious treats

We really enjoyed our trip out to Fredricksburg. The house was in the middle of all the wineries on 290 and just a few minutes out of town that allowed for peaceful mornings with the deer and rabbits and beautiful sunsets. We brought a dog and he loved the fenced in yard. The breakfast treats were amazing and they made us a special cake as we were celebrating some birthdays. It was really a treat to stay at this house and we will be back on our next wine tour. PS don't miss the Garrison Brothers Bourbon distillery tour. It was amazing and only 15 minutes away from the house.

Amazing wine tasting get-a-way weekend!

The house and host was fantastic! We rented this house for the weekend with 2 other couples. The location was perfect! Right in the middle of the 290 winery strand. Easy access to all the great wineries! It was a so private and we rented the whole house- 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and the main suite had a small kitchenette in addition to a fully stocked kitchen.The fire pit and hot tubs were a bonus! Monica was amazing! The communication was great. We arrived to a homemade cake, muffins, biscuits and jelly and casserole!! The beds were comfortable and the house was cozy! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our weekend stay!!

A breath of fresh air

We rented the property among the pecans with the intentions of visiting the hot air balloon event in Banksmith. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub the first evening. We went to Luckenbach the next day and then in to Banksmith. Never saw the jot air balloons but did go into to town for a late lunch and shopping. Three bedrooms were spacious and plenty of room in kitchen and living area. We enjoyed the fresh breads and biscuits the owner left too. Would highly recommend this property for a family or two couples. I’ve also stayed at among the crepe mottled at monarc ranch and recommend it as well.

Great house, out in the country, 10 min to most popular wineries, 16 minutes to downtown

Loved this country home. Fresh baked goods, with coffee eggs milk and juice were an extra treat. Master bedroom suite with mini-kitchen gave mom and dad a little separation from our adult children. Enjoyed the front porch views, especially the deer that would greet us during morning coffee. Interior of house was very clean, but porches and outdoor areas could have used a good sweeping and/or power wash. Spas didn't seem to be fully functionable, but we enjoyed never the less. Loved the fire pit. Would recommend for those that love the country setting: quiet and secuded but so close to vineyards. We can't wait to return.

I am so glad you liked our little house and its amenities and that you enjoyed your stay. In the spring and fall we have difficulties with keeping the porches cleaned because of the Pecan trees. In the spring they leave those little blossom fuzzy things all over, and in the fall we deal with all of those beautiful leaves. I believe it was raining before you arrived and made it impossible to clean. I hope you will come again. If not have a great day.

Absolute Perfect Place !!

This was one of the most stress free and no hassell vacations I have ever spent with my family. Even the young adults said. Wow Mom , awesome ! The owners were just magnificent to work with and made everything from check in to check out so worry free . The home was just beautiful and not one thing was needed other than your presence ! I wish the world was made up of more kind and caring people like These owners , they are certainly rare in these difficult times we all live in . If you want a relaxing , stress free vacation this is the place to be! God Bless them for their gracious exceeding efforts to please the public !! Monica and Marc Jacobi met in college in the 70's, and found out they had a lot in common. Their dreams included family, keeping close friendships, travel, cooking, and some day living in the country. Just a small place, with a swing. And after raising 4 children, and all of their other teenage friends, it finally happened. It took us 3 years to find our special place, but we found it...360 acres nestled in the Texas Hill Country. Wild Life, Fruit Trees, River, guests, family memories, treasures abound, the utter peace and quiet, the beauty, it is truly a blessing. We just had to figure out how to pay for it!!

That was easy, we love to travel, we have lots of friends near and far, we have 4 children, all we have ever done is feed everyone, entertain, and everyone loves to visit the Hill Country. We had these cute little houses on the land, that had been built at various times since the 1920's, and owning and running B&B's seemed very logical to Monica. Marc on the other hand had to be convinced.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This property is located right in the middle of the 290 wine trails. It is just outside one of the cutest little German towns in Texas with shops and great restaurants. Among the Pecans is located on a 360 acre working ranch with a game barn that has a ping pong table and horseshoes. There is picnicking or fishing at the river which is about 1/2 a mile stroll. There is abundant wildlife to capture, along with horses and cows. The best part about this property is you can just sit on the front porch overlooking the hill country and rock away your cares.
