Esta antigua granja fue un diamante en bruto cuando lo compró en enero de 2016. Después de 10 meses de renovaciones que abrió en noviembre de 2016 y están constantemente haciendo mejoras basadas en los comentarios de los clientes para crear las mejores vacaciones para nuestros huéspedes. Es casi una casa completamente nueva con todo el carácter antiguo que nos hizo enamorarse de la propiedad, incluyendo las ventanas originales, puertas, acabados, chimenea y pisos de madera refinada que traen calidez y encanto a cada habitación. En el lado estructural de la sala de estar principal ha sido completamente abierto para una verdadera cocina de concepto abierto, comedor y espacio de vida perfecto para cualquier gran reunión completa con un techo cubierto de madera hermosa bóveda. La fundación de la casa, electricidad, plomería, y el sistema de CA también se han actualizado completamente lo que es eficiente y fiable para su escapada país del vino.

Hay tres dormitorios en la casa principal. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama de matrimonio y Tempurpedic sofá-cama / trundle con su propio cuarto de baño privado con un tocador doble y bañera de hierro fundido refinished. Los otros dos dormitorios tienen una cama de matrimonio y comparten el baño principal que también tiene un tocador doble. Un reformado 1931 clawfoot bañera / ducha combo completa el baño principal con encanto histórico y elegancia.

La sala de estar tiene un sofá nuevo con reina tamaño sofá-cama y colchón de espuma de memoria Termpurpedic. Cada cama está completa con 4 almohadas, 800 sábanas de hilos, abajo edredón alternativa, y Laura Ashley edredón para mantenerte acogedor durante las noches de colina país fresco.

En el exterior encontrará varias áreas diferentes para relajarse o jugar en este oasis de un acre completo con mesas de comedor múltiples, parrilla de gas propano y fogata. Hay un montón de espacio en el patio para jugar juegos o ver los pájaros y ciervos que pasan por el patio para comer a lo largo del borde del arroyo cada mañana y noche. De ahí el nombre de nuestra propiedad, Hirschbach Haus, que significa Deer Creek en alemán. Un guiño a la historia y la cultura de esta pequeña ciudad turística adorable.

La casa está a 1 milla de distancia de la calle principal donde se encuentran la mayoría de las tiendas y restaurantes locales. Está a 15-20 minutos a pie o sólo un par de minutos en el coche. Great girls trip

This house a diamond. We booked this house for a girls trip, 7 women, slept great, loved the aesthetic and the ambiance! We slept great. Beds are comfortable, layout of the house is perfect for a large group and then hosts were on top of it. Definitely recommend and would go back!

Nice, quaint home

The home was very nice...well kept, clean, and had everything we needed. The only thing I would have to say is it's not in a very good neighborhood which is hard to know until you get there...but it is close to Main Street so you can easily get to the things you want to do.

Lindsey, we are glad you enjoyed your stay and found the home clean and well equipped. As you mentioned, we are close to Main Street and the ever changing area that encompasses a downtown can be diverse. We are the last house on a dead end street with only a few other neighbors, all of whom we know personally from renovating the house for a year.

Such a lovely, comfortable home!

Our stay was perfect. This home doesn’t lack for anything! Better than its description. Beds were comfy, the owners go above and beyond making certain you have all you need. One mile from Main Street, convenient to everything! Saw deer on the property and enjoyed our fire pit. Celebrated my birthday and the owners even left me a bottle of wine! Very private on a dead end, and on one lovely acre. Comfortable living area for my family, and plenty of dining space too! I will definitely book here again, no doubt! Thank you both so much for your hospitality! Also, we enjoyed the photo album with the “before” pictures. You guys did an amazing job on the remodel!

Sweet week in Texas Hill Country

Hirschbach Haus was everything we wanted for our friends and family bi-annual reunion. We found a cozy rustic farmhouse that has been lovingly up-dated without removing any of the original charm. Big king-size beds with wonderful linens. More towels in the bathrooms than we could use. Someone had fun with a labeling gun as almost everything was labeled. This made everything easy to find and operate. Tons of silverware, plates and glasses. There was even a Canadian coffee cup that was used daily by our Canadian friend. Big backyard with lots of space for corn hole and plenty of outside seating. The pictures on the listing do not do it justice. The property is at the end of a cul-d-sac. I know other reviews commented on the neighborhood. We found it to be safe and incredibly quite. Yes, it is a street with double-wide trailers as homes. Not everyone can afford to live in a the nicer homes in town. Best neighbor was the black goat that was tied up to a tree around the corner from the house. Everyday the owner would put it out where it could be social with anybody that came by. Defiantly a fan favorite.

Perfect stay

This is my family’s third time to stay here. The location is close to Main St, but just far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the property. The beds are super comfortable.

Excellent house, sketchy neighborhood

The house and property are great, but the area is a little sketchy. The neighborhood is run down, but conveniently located to Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. The house was very clean, and we had a wonderful time.

We loved the house. The location was a quick drive to Main Street. I was traveling with my sister, mom, and aunt and we enjoyed the stay. We loved watching the deer in the evening!

Family 70th birthday

8 women from the ages of 84 to 42 enjoyed the house for a 70th birthday celebration. The house was clean and had everything we needed! The body wash and soaps felt like you were in a spa!! We enjoyed the big yard with visits from deer and a beautiful night at the fire pit. We would recommend as it was perfect to hang out or close to downtown and wineries. As you drive down the street to get to the house don't let the neighborhood worry you, as soon as you turn into the driveway you have entered a little oasis with updates and cute character in the cozy place!! Thank you for all the updates and care you have put into your place!

Cutest house

9 ladies stayed here for girls weekend and we were all comfortable and happy. Host over provided with organic coffee, all natural products in the bathrooms, bottle of wine at arrival, plenty of towels and comfortable beds and pillows! I can’t write out all the extras we received. It felt like it was exactly what I would have done if I was hosting and trying to make my best friend comfortable! Our weather wasn’t the best so we didn’t get to utilize the huge backyard and outdoor seating as much as I wished we could have but there are several tables and a fire pit that are cool too!

Great time, great place to stay. Super close to HEB, awesome fire place and dinining outside. We had 9 adults 1 child and 1 infant plenty of space for us all! 10 out of 10 would recommend again.

Cute Comfy farmhouse feel

This is a cute little getaway with a short drive to downtown. We loved how many beds and places to sleep there were!! It was perfect for a place to stay as we explored wine country. The hosts were incredible and fast on the reply of any questions! If we ever come back to Fredricksburg, I will definitely see if this place is available! Loved it!! 😍

Exceptional host!

Where do I begin, the house was so open and inviting, the bedrooms and bathrooms were roomy. The backyard is so private and we had a buck and doe visit us too. Chelsea was so sweet and prompt with questions. She even sent us a Jenga game. She really goes above and beyond with her care for her VRBO.

Just what we needed.....

My husband has been working at home since the pandemic. I wanted to give him a change of scenery and this home was perfect! It is so beautiful inside and so peaceful inside. We watched the abundance of deer during the day and the lightning bugs at night. The bed was comfortable and the cleanliness was amazing! If we ever come back to Fredericksburg, we will definitely stay here again! Just perfect!

Removing sheets and pillowcases helps our housekeeper ensure that any linens used during your stay are washed as sometimes it’s hard to tell which beds are used otherwise. Deposits are returned 7 days after check out or sooner pending time for the home inspection, laundry, and cleaning after your stay.

Great place to stay!

Had a girls weekend there and it was perfect. The house is big and 9 of us slept comfortably. It was nice and quiet there. We also brought firewood and made s’mores. Would definitely go back.

We are Austinites who fell in love with the Texas Hill Country during weekend escapes and dreamed of having our own property and business there. Jay works in the tech industry in Austin while Chelsea manages our vacation rental business doing most preparation and cleaning for each stay. We are expecting our first baby in January 2017 and are excited to open this vacation rental and enjoy it with our own family and friends from time to time.

The history and land that accompany this house make it a rare find near downtown Fredericksburg. The large oak and pecan trees that sprinkle the property offer lots of greenery, shade, and attract all sorts of birds. The inside of the house needed lots of work but we saw its potential and dove in head first. The renovation has been challenging but exciting and we can't wait to see it all come together with the final design soon.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The inside of the house has been completely renovated from the ground up and includes high-end cabinetry and finishes with the nostalgic charm of vintage furniture, decorations, and original hardware floors. Everything comes together to create a modern country escape where you'll feel pampered and comfortable.

This house also has lots of outdoor space and privacy. It's located on a culdesac just south of Main Street and the majority of the yard is lined with thick trees that run along the creek at the edge of the property. There's also a fire pit, grill, and dining area under a covered patio overlooking the main yard with a great view of the sunset and stars.

Inside everything is brand new or completely restored vintage items making it feel clean and modern but still cozy and warm. The main living, kitchen, and dining area is all one big space allowing large groups to spend time together with plenty of space. All towels and bed linens are top-of-the-line and very comfortable.
